So a 16 day stay was a concern as Sadie is very attached to her two human parents. Adrienne and Mike helped prepare Sadie to know we would be coming back for her by offering two complimentary stay overs, 2 hours each, for Sadie to get used to them and their home and to know we would be coming back to pick her up. Sadie has always been hand fed and Adrienne had no problem in realizing that on her own and accomodating Sadie's special need. In interviewing different care givers we found that not all caregivers let you see the actual inside of the home where their pup will be staying. But this was no problem for Adrienne and Mike. We also liked that they were a 2 person team so if one of them came down ill, there would always be a back-up. We definately recommend this two person team to others. Thank you Adrienne and Mike !”

She sent photos right away! She let me know how he was feeling and how he did throughout the day and night. We had awesome communication during his stay plus photos and videos. They truly helped me. He went on long walks and received a lot of loving from both Julia and her husband. Mr. Taco also learned a new trick!! She taught him to lay down! About: I've loved cats since I was a little kid, but since I grew up in a house full of 3 dogs, I was only able to spend time with them at friends and family friends' houses. In college, however, I've had the opportunity to foster cats, which has been an incredible experience. I took care of a brother-sister duo for 6 months, having them from the time they were 4 weeks, and having to deal with all quarantine protocols and the occasional vet visit. After obtaining ringworm from the shelter they came from, my roommates and I took did all the necessary protocols to bring them back to full health, including giving them oral injections and pills every day, as well as topical creams. We also took care of them after their spay/neuter process, so I'm no stranger to kitties with cones or who need medicine. I also had the opportunity to foster a litter of 6 baby kittens, all of whom we had to bottle feed and give constant attention to. Despite not having cats growing up, I feel very knowledgeable and responsible in my abilities as a cat caretaker.

I start the morning with the pups routine so he feels safe, happy and comfortable I adjust a pups care based on the info and requests from you, the owner! I’ve found that following their routine is helpful. I bring a grounding energy that our furry friends like. Animals tend to trust me pretty immediately, or with some time spent sitting with them.

About: I love spending time with animals. I recently worked at a vet clinic and it was great because I got to pet dogs and cats all day. I’m excited to try being a pet sitter/walker and get to hang out with more animals. I currently have two dogs. One 6-year-old that I got as a puppy and one 13-year-old that I adopted last year. I also have a pet snake and lots of fish. Unfortunately, I don’t have a cat because my dad is allergic, but I love spending time with my cousin‘s cat named skittles. Last summer I did an animal behavior internship UC Davis and learned quite a bit about animal training. I’m excited to try applying what I learned while working for Rover. I’m free weekdays anytime after I get out of class at 3:30. On Mondays I get out at 11:30 so I have a bit more time in the afternoons. I don’t have anything scheduled regularly on weekends, so I’m usually free unless I make plans with my friends or family beforehand. I’m willing to do walks and drop in visits. Walks can be as long as you’d like and since I have a car, I could even take your pet to a park with your approval. For drop ins, I could do anything you needed whether it’s enrichment, feeding, training, cleaning up after your pet, or even just keeping them company. About: I have been an animal lover since I was a little kid, I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. I have a 6 year old goldador who is the best boy. We love to go on walks, go hiking, go to the beach, or go to the park. Haven’t been active as a sitter in Rover for awhile, but excited to get back into it. I currently work mostly from home, with a day or two at the office once a week to every other week. We go out 3-5 times a day with a morning walk, afternoon walk or quick potty break and long evening walk or go to the park. On the days I need to go to the office, your dog would need to be able to be ok at home anywhere from 3-6 hours. In my home with my dog, your dog will be taken care of like my own. About: Last year I said goodbye to my 17 year-old dog Max, just a few months after my cat Scotty passed away suddenly from kidney disease. Thankfully, Scotty's sister Star is still with me and thriving, but I really miss being around and caring for other animals. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and the gentle care they require. I'm also very familiar with younger dogs of all sizes. And I've fostered a lot of cats - mainly kittens - which is how Star and Scotty originally came into my life. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet - whether it be walks, drop-ins, boarding or pet-sitting. About: Hi, my name is Angie! I love animals like my blood relatives and I would love to be your next fur baby caretaker! I've lived in a house with 3 dogs for my entire life, and love to play, walk, relax, and explore with them. Since I was 8 I've been actively taking care of pups (feeding, walking, bathing, grooming, and cleaning up after them), so I'm definitely confident with taking care of dogs. My earliest memories were with a Husky, Doberman mix, and Super-mutt, and then I grew up with my GSP, Australian Shepherd, and Chi-Poo (who is now the happiest 14-year-old old lady). There I would clean the cages twice daily, take the dogs out to run in the yard, feed them 3 times a day, and take them out for enrichment and socialization. I currently volunteer helping marine birds, marine mammals, and baby terrestrial mammals get as healthy as they can until they can be released. Other than that I am available so I can provide your pet with the care they need. I can crate your pets if necessary and make sure any gates or doors are properly closed. I make sure things that pets are not supposed to eat are out of reach as well.
