About: I have been dog sitting and dog walking for friends and neighbors for about 15 years now. I have done dog sitting for various breeds including chihuahuas, corgis, german shepherds, aussies, poodles, etc. so I know how different their energy levels can be but can handle it all! Depending on what you are comfortable with, your dogs stay will include trips to the dog park, long walks around the neighborhood, playing with my own doggo, and of course being showered with love. I have my own Australian Shepherd who loves meeting new friends! Both of us would love to get the chance to spend some time with your doggo! About: Last year we said goodbye to our thirty pound poodle mix after 17 amazing years. Our kids, ages 15, 12, 9, and 5 have had a dog in the home all their lives and while we aren't ready to get a new dog just yet we would love to take care of yours! My husband Liam, always had dogs in his family’s house growing up. We have a spacious home and fenced back yard in a quiet Hawthorne neighborhood close to LAX. It’s easy for us to let the dogs out back throughout the day and to go for frequent walks around the block. We used Rover for our own dog so we know how great it feels to know that your pup is being taken care of like family while you are away. Poodles, poodle mixes, and smaller dogs are preferred but there’s always exceptions. My husband Liam, and I both work from home so there's always an adult around to make sure the dogs are taking care of. We live in a quiet neighborhood that's easy to take the dogs on walks. And with our backyard we can let the dogs out for frequent bathroom breaks if needed. We have a completely fenced in back yard that our dog loved in his time here. Our older children are at school or activities for most of the day so the dogs will generally have the run of the house.

About: Fur Baby Caretaker LLC I’ve absolutely adored animals since I was 4yrs old. I started getting educated on animals at a young age and knew my dream was to work with animals. I started my professional career in the industry in 2017. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for a year, then moved on to a facility for dogs and cats, which I worked at from 2018-2022. Over the years at these facilities, I’ve learned about proper care, training and grooming techniques for dogs, and care for cats. I have plenty of experience working with different breeds of dogs from the smallest teacup poodle, to the chunkiest bulldog, to the biggest Great Dane. I’ve worked with many different breeds, sizes and personalities in large daycare groups, so I’ve learned how to manage different demeanors in different settings. With cats, I understand their boundaries and don’t like to force any interaction on them, but if they are comfortable with it I give them lots of love. I’ve also volunteered at a shelter for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rodents. At the shelter, I focused on learning how to properly care for rodents and cats. *I don’t discriminate against any pet’s breed, size, age, medical condition, etc. I treat them all with the best care.* **I am able to dispense oral medication to pets if necessary. I AM NOT CERTIFIED TO GIVE INJECTION (NEEDLE INVOLVED) MEDICATION** I work part time in Gardena in the afternoon-evening Mon-Fri, but typically am home or close by during most of the day and on weekends. I usually to stay local when running errands. My apartment is gated and a code or key is needed to enter the premises. We have a large grass area right out front, which is not gated. There’s plenty of grass and parks in the neighborhood to go to during walks. My apartment is on the second floor with the luxury of having the parking garage underneath me, so your pet running around the house won’t disturb anyone! I stay alert and aware of my surroundings at all times for safety purposes. I have multiple rooms and gates to separate pets when necessary (feeding, bedtime, rest breaks…etc.) My pets are flea treated regularly and stay up to date on their vaccines. **IMPORTANT NOTICE BELOW!!! In order to keep my home a healthy and clean environment for all, IF PETS ARRIVE WITH FLEAS I require a $50-$100 cleaning fee AND a flea bath may apply with a MINIMUM charge of $38/pet bathed. I HIGHLY recommend flea treatments and checking your pets for fleas BEFOREHAND to avoid additional charges. ADDITIONALLY, if your pet causes any damages to my property there will be a MINIMUM charge of $25 for repairs/replacements.**

About: My approach with any animal is to use positive reinforcement and a lot of patience. I grew up with dogs, cats and various other animals. I was heavily into 4-H and adopted a wild burro, raised pigs and joined the dog training group with my shelter dog, a German Shepard Samoyed mix. Currently, we have two rescue dogs. Whenever we host our neighbor's dog, all the dogs have a blast and act like they are having a sleepover. In addition to caring for dogs, I also have experience with a diabetic cat that required two daily shots. My husband and I work from home so there is always someone around. We take the dogs out for frequent potty breaks throughout the day. We also live near Valley Park and the green belt which are perfect for longer walks. In addition to my husband, I have two teenage sons who will also be here to play with your pup. We currently have two welcoming adopted dogs, Koko, who is the older wiser pup bringing calm energy, and Mango, who very lovable and wants to be friends with every human and dog. At our condo, the dogs have access to two decks in the back, perfect for quiet naps in the sun, and one deck in the front overlooking all the action that passes by on the street. If your pup likes to play tug-of-war, Mango will happily play and share her toys.
