IF YOU HAVE BEEN EVACUATED FROM THE LA FIRES and need pet care, please message me for no-cost boarding. Hi! My name is Lizzy and I love cuddling and playing with both cats and dogs. My sweet Great Dane passed away from cancer a few years ago - she was full of energy and loved fast walks. We used to book her sitters through Rover, and I had such good experiences that I signed up as a sitter myself. I have been dog and cat sitting for my friends and neighbors for years, and I still care for some pets outside of Rover. I am comfortable with giant dogs (140+ pounds) and seniors with medication.

Lizzy (and partner Aaron) is a wonder for sitter for our dog, Max. Poor Max apparently had a very tough life before we got him from a rescue group at age 6 years. He's a very sweet and loving dog, but when he's very anxious and frightened, he can be tough to deal with. Lizzy is one of the calmest people I've ever met and she only takes one dog at a time. She is perfect for Max and, though he's anxious and has serious separation anxiety, he seems to be much more comfortable at Lizzy's place that he is anywhere else aside from home. Lizzy and Aaron are highly experienced in caring for dogs (both their own in the past and other people's dogs) and seem to be unflappable. They have a great house with a backyard on a quiet street in West LA. We are so glad we found them!
Lizzy was really nice and my dog felt comfortable with her much faster than he usually does with new people. That helped make me feel confident k owing Frankie was safe and happy while he was there. She also made booking, drop off and pick up super seamless. Would book her again!
Lizzy was terrific. Very patient and caring for our little Max. We will definitely book again!

Lizzy was great with Indi. Indi stayed over for the whole day and he was so excited to be back. Highly recommend.

Dates de la garde
I believe dogs should get at least two walks a day if they have the energy and want to go outside, so I will happily walk them multiple times per day. I currently work from home so I will be able to spend time together with your pet all day. I can also let them out in the backyard for play and potty breaks.

I have a private backyard that is gated. Dogs love to sniff around in the grass and take naps in the sun. I follow all my clients' instructions and keep my clients updated while they are away. I love sending photo updates. I have sofa stairs to help elderly or small pets get onto the couch or bed, as well as a ramp to help them into the car if needed. I have a large car for transportation. I have two large dog beds, food bowls, a raised food stand for taller dogs, and lots of treats, or my clients can bring their own. We have central AC and heating. My partner lives at home with me and will also love to spend time with any animals we have stay at our place. He likes to run around in the backyard and play like a dog, and he may also accompany us on walks, but I am present and in charge for all pet care.

I live in a quiet neighborhood with residential streets and plenty of grass to play on. I like taking long walks so the dogs can get fresh air and exercise. I have lots of dog treats if the client would like me to share with their dog.

- I respect the client's decision if they do not want me to let their dog interact with other dogs. It would be helpful to know of any behavioral issues or preferences that the pet has. Of course, I want to stick to the feeding and walking schedule of the pet.
