Hi there and Welcome to Jax & Friends! PLEASE NOTE WE DON'T TAKE LAST MINUTE "NEW" REQUESTS OR REQUESTS WITHOUT A PREVIOUS MEET&GREET. ALSO, ALL DOGS MUST BE CURRENT ON THEIR FLEA MEDICATION. We are located in Westchester, minutes away from LAX, and right next to Playa Vista and Loyola Marymount University. We've been caring for dogs for 20+ years. We love all breeds, sizes and temperaments, but we can only welcome larger dogs on a one-on-one basis (if they are gentle, calm and used to small dogs). As long as your pup(s) gets along with Jax, our 14 y.o. 11lb mini-Dachshund, and other dogs that may be visiting they are more than Welcome in our home! Large puppies that are overly excited and energetic, may not be a good fit. Our house has a nice size, gated outdoor yard with free, non-stop bird concert and plenty of indoor tiled, space for playing, hanging or snoozing. We try to take your pup on at least 1 walk per day/ stay plus unlimited indoor/outdoor playtime at home. We are also able to supervise your pups 24/7 and provide transportation to a vet in case of an emergency. Please note our rates apply to drop off starting at 7:30AM and for pickups up until 7:30PM. For anything outside that time, there is a $15 surcharge that will be applied. We also offer: Bathing, Additional walks, Care for elderly or disabled dogs. Inquire within about these additional services! We look forward in meeting you and your pup! Thank you. We have many years' experience caring for dogs. I work from home and there is always someone home to watch out for them. We love having the pups around. I have a fenced yard and keep the front gate locked. I work from home so there is always someone there to keep your pet(s) company. Dogs are allowed to go any where in the home they wish (except for living room). They can access back yard at any time.

Schedule
We work from home so there is always someone home with the dogs at all times. They fit right in and offer us a nice balance of work and play :)

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced in yard and keep gate locked at all times. The dogs usually hangout with me in my office, out on the deck, on the couch in the den or in the bedroom with my daughter while she is working.
Pets
A typical day
dogs are able to run in and out of the house with full access to the back yard. We play ball and go on at least one walk a day.
