He just turned one and has never been around other dogs before. He was understandably nervous and even showed some fear-based aggression at first. Janae handled the situation with patience and care — keeping the other dogs separate until our dog felt more comfortable. She gave him space, allowed him to relax at his own pace, and let him try gentle play when he seemed ready. Jane checked in with me after a few hours and said he was spending much of his time by her front door waiting for me, and I really appreciate how understanding and calm she was with him. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was safe and cared for while we work on helping him gain confidence around new people and dogs. If Jane will have us again, we will be repeat customers.”

In the past six years, I’ve adopted a senior Yorkie (who since passed from health issues), fostered several dogs, and currently have a senior chihuahua/terrier mix rescue. I have experience administering oral and ear medication to senior dogs. I work from home full-time which enables me to provide all-day care for your dog, and I only accept one client at a time. Due to my dog's small size, I am only able to accept clients 15 lbs and under. I wake up around 7 am and always take the dogs out for a toilet breaks and morning walk right after waking, followed by walks throughout the day. I typically provide toilet breaks every 2-3 hours, and go for about 5 walks per day, with the last toilet breaks around 9-10 pm before sleeping. My schedule is adaptable to your pup's routine and needs, but you can typically expect that they will receive a 45 minute walk per day at the minimum. I have a fenced backyard for your dog to run around in, and never let them outside alone. I work from home full time, so your pup will always be attended. I rarely leave the house for more than an hour when I have a client staying. For first-time clients, a meet and greet is essential before the first stay to ensure that our dogs get along.

About: My daughter and I (she is 15) are in love with everything that is living especially animals! We have fostered and pet-sitted for many years. I work from home so I am home 90% of the time. My daughter is a bit of a Dog Whisperer and we do this because we love it! The Pawttage is near LAX so you could drop your sweetie on your way out of town and pick him/her up as soon as you land! The Pawttage has a large sized back yard, cozy and family atmosphere. We will take your pooch on as many walks as you desire. Your pooch will have play time in the yard and relax time with me in the evening. We have plenty of the time and can fully care for your vacationing pooch. If you feel he/she needs her toys that is great, if not we have some to lend out. The resident animals are a small 17 year old Lhasa Apso, who loves other dogs and still enjoys play time in the yard with guests. He himself has doggie playdates with his doggie friends! Ocean, a 6 year old Chorky, likes to sun bath and bark at the mail lady. Consider this happy animal friendly home as your pets home away from home! *NOTE: If you cannot pick up by 8pm, please consider it as an additional day.

Being around them helped me learn early on how to safely approach dogs, respect their boundaries, and understand different temperaments. I later volunteered at Adopt & Shop, where I became a lead for volunteer groups. My responsibilities included dog walking, providing enrichment activities, and cleaning kennels. So I’m very comfortable with both the fun and the responsibility that comes with animal care. I am currently job hunting and have time on my hands to care for pets for owner who have 9-5 jobs. Open availability until further notice! I live in a pet-friendly home with two small, friendly dogs named Firulais and Canela who are used to being around other animals. We have a large, fully enclosed yard with plenty of space for pets to safely run and play. Inside, pets have a comfortable, cool environment with AC for warmer days, and a calm, welcoming space to relax. I make sure every pet feels safe, cared for, and at home whether they love to play or prefer a more laid back environment. I make sure in a clients home to be respectful and support any routine in place for the furry friend to be relaxed and feel comfortable having me around.

We live in a small condo complex, we have a tiny turf area on our porch for easy potty breaks but otherwise we go outside for walks. I work from home full time so your pet will never be alone and I am able to provide full supervision and unlimited attention!! We also have two fur babies of our own, Q-Tip (8 y/o, 18lbs) and Odis (13 y/o, 25lbs) On a normal day to day, they are low energy dogs but can switch to medium energy when stimulated. We both don't have professional experience but combined, we have over 15+ years of ownership and we have hosted on Rover for over 6 years now and absolutely love it. We have cared for dogs from all walks of life ranging from puppies to senior dogs, dogs with medical needs or need to be on strict scheduled medications/ need shots (Nick is a Pharmacist!), from mellow pups who like to sleep all day to extremely high energy pups that we take on hikes- we've seen and done it all!! We promise lots of pupdates throughout your dog's stay with us, including photos and videos! We are happy to do whatever we can to make your pup's stay more comfortable for them but also allow you to enjoy + relax during your time away from your fur baby (Trust us, we know how HARD it is to leave them!!) ***We do ask that your pup be up to date on their shots and especially their flea meds. Thank you!!! I (Lauren) work from home full time so besides errands like a grocery trip or the gym, your pup(s) will have someone around almost all of the time! We have quick access to a turf potty area and crates that we provide if your pup hasn't been house trained during the rare instances we arent home.

I have learned so much from her, and my love for pets grew. Over the past 6 years I've expanded my experiences through dog sitting other breeds, and also began cat sitting. During this time, I have gained experience with many sizes, temperaments, and needs. I work from home, so unless I have meetings, I am free to be of service to your pet. Most weekends and weekdays I am available, only if I am gone for work trips / vacations (this is blocked off and will be communicated). I have a balcony where dogs enjoy the sun and people watching, with my supervision of course. Near the apartment complex there is a park. My apartment is very pet friendly so in the mornings and evenings I see many of my neighbors begin their walk around our neighborhood. I have no pets of my own so your pet will be my main priority. That said, if needed, any kennels or crates will need to be provided.

He just turned one and has never been around other dogs before. He was understandably nervous and even showed some fear-based aggression at first. Janae handled the situation with patience and care — keeping the other dogs separate until our dog felt more comfortable. She gave him space, allowed him to relax at his own pace, and let him try gentle play when he seemed ready. Jane checked in with me after a few hours and said he was spending much of his time by her front door waiting for me, and I really appreciate how understanding and calm she was with him. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was safe and cared for while we work on helping him gain confidence around new people and dogs. If Jane will have us again, we will be repeat customers.”
