“I am thankful Sheila was available on short notice. She doesn’t live far from me. She was very patient with my shy and anxious Havanese boy. I’m happy he was allowed to roam free and sit on furniture just like at home. Although my dog may have been nervous to eat, Sheila did her best to accommodate Paxson. I liked that she had other dogs and a cat. I think this helps Paxson get comfortable and learn the ropes. I appreciate Sheila and her daughter Rhonika for taking great care of Paxson. About: I’ve had pets all my life, animals are my passion. Im currently a certified VA/ACS vet assistant & animal care specialist with over a year experience working on a ranch with all kinds of incredible animals. I’m ready for anything that comes my way. :) I am currently available any time and any day. So pet sitting fits into my routine perfectly, this is what I was meant to do. About: I have been a dog-friend all my life. I have been a pet sitter for many years, both in Portland and Los Angeles. I’ve had dogs most of my adult life. An Australian shepherd (Ghost), a Kelpie (Freyja), and currently a Boxer/Bullie (Princess Leia), and a Staffie (Kylo Ren). While I am not a professional trainer, I have personally trained all of my doggies who all became calm, well-behaved kiddos. Kylo is still in training, as he is newly adopted and just over a year old. My work schedule is flexible, and can mostly be done remotely. I can dedicate much time to the care and/or training of your kiddo. My doggos eat twice daily with at least three trips outside. Kylo is still working on his bravery skills for walks. I am happy to adhere to your preferred schedule for your kiddo(s).

About: My sweet female golden, Kona, is patient with other dogs and has helped fosters learn to relax at home. We trained her from a puppy and would love to help care for your dog. We’ve sat for tiny, shaking chihuahuas who have warmed up enough to Kona to even cuddle her. I work from home full time, so I’m available all day for walks. I work on central time and finish at 3, leaving plenty of afternoon time for play in our fenced patio. I can crate one dog as needed, but pets are allowed on furniture in my home if well trained. I walk at least 5 times a day, and have a bell for dogs trained to ring when they need to go outside. I have a lovely fenced patio for dogs to play in or just relax in the sun.

Given the short notice for finding a sitter and us being super paranoid to leave our dog with anyone, Teri exceeded any and all expectations from the first minute we met to the moment when we picked our dog up from her loving care. Extremely attentive, caring and communicative, we were at peace at all times knowing Jingo is with a person we can trust which is pretty much 50% of success. The other 50% come from our dog who was absolutely happy with Teri, she sent us videos of them playing together which we know requires a bid deal of trust and comfort from our pup. And if he comes back exhausted and low key sad from the dog hotel (irregardless how excited he is to go there every time), Jingo retuned from Teri well fed, happy and energetic. I can’t wait for Teri to look after Jingo again and for Jingo to have a wonderful time in her hands. 10/10, would recommend to a friend. Thank you again, Teri!”
