WFH large fenced yard!
I’m Emelyn and I love dogs! I adore spending time with animals and have also fostered rescues. My home will be the perfect place for pets and you can feel comfortable knowing your dog is in my loving and safe care! I have a big fenced yard where they can run and play. I grew up with dogs, including a German Shepherd, Cocker Spaniel, and Poodle. As an adult, I’ve had Jimmy Choo, a Maltese-Yorkie mix since 2012, Bruce, a shepherd mix for 2 years before passing, and Charlie, a long-haired dachshund mix who was a pandemic puppy abandoned by her person who went back to work! I always treat the pups I watch as if they’re my own and will be a loyal and trustworthy care provider while you’re away. My friends like to characterize me as a joyful and enthusiastic person and that is definitely true! I always try to find the “bright side” of things. I’m positive and loving and will absolutely take those elements of my personality into the care of your pup! I know how hard it is to be away from your fur baby so I’ll be in constant communication, sending photo and text updates so you know your pup is having fun on their stay. When I’m not spending time with my pups, I enjoy reading, hiking, and finding new and interesting restaurants. I also love to travel and road trips are a personal favorite of mine! Nothing like going down those back country roads with your window open! I’ve also been known to spend an afternoon crocheting and would love to snuggle with your pup while I do so! I’m happy to keep your dog as active as they need! Although I work full-time during the day from home, your dog will be well-exercised and loved!

Emelyn is amazing! She’s very communicative and sweet. I really appreciated that she wanted to do a meet and greet with her babies. She provided pics and videos which was awesome! I honestly was worried my pup wasn’t going to come home with me when I picked him up because he was having such a fun time. Thank you Emelyn 🦋💜🐾
Emelyn was wonderful with Letty! She was so patient, gentle, and caring with her, especially since Letty is a senior. I really appreciated the massages and all the extra attention she gave her. She also sent me so many pictures, which I loved seeing while I was at work. It gave me such peace of mind knowing Letty was being so well taken care of. Emelyn did an amazing job, as always!

I'd highly recommend Emelyn to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. She took amazing care of my senior dog, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. She was incredibly communicative throughout the stay, sending regular updates and plenty of pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. She listened carefully to all of my instructions and made sure my dog's needs were met. Her home is beautiful and very dog friendly, with plenty of space and amenities, and her dogs were sweet and welcoming. When I picked up my dog, she was calm, happy, well rested, and it was obvious she had been well cared for. I'm so grateful for the love and attention Emelyn gave her. I will definitely be booking with Emelyn again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their dog.

Schedule
I work full time from home, so I'll always have at least on ear to what's going on, even if I'm in meetings. Your dogs can hang out with my dogs or on their own during the day, however, I will walk them in the morning, evening, and before bed, and have some play time during my lunch break. I leave the door to the backyard open during the day so the dogs can go in and out freely.

I have a large fenced yard where I keep a dog bed and dogs are allowed on the patio furniture. At night, they are welcome to sleep in the bedroom, crated, or on their dog bed. Pet are allowed on the indoor furniture as well.
Pets
A typical day
My neighborhood is very dog-friendly. I know your pup will love that there are other dogs in my neighborhood, I never go on a walk without running into at least one or two dogs! When we’re not outside with other pups, taking walks, we’ll spend our time in my dog-friendly home! Dogs are welcome on any furniture and there are plenty of toys to keep them occupied. If your pup likes to relax, I love snuggling up on the couch together. My dogs are very chill for the most part and they sleep most of the day. Whatever your pup needs, I’ll be happy to provide.
