Chris M. also known as Xris Lobo Introduction: As a dog enthusiast, I truly believe that a world without dogs wouldn't be as vibrant or joyful. This deep affection and respect for our canine companions have compelled me to dedicate my life to nurturing the bond between humans and their dogs. My profound understanding of dog psychology and the art of communication with these lovable creatures have aided me in creating an equilibrium in the lives of numerous dogs and their human counterparts. Serving as an advocate for our four-legged friends, I am committed to reciprocating the unconditional love and companionship they offer us. My mission is to echo their voice, championing their mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being while respecting their inherent instincts. Striving to cater to every dog's needs to the best of my ability, I am equally passionate about educating others to do the same. Personal Bio: Steeped in two glorious decades of hands-on experience in dog grooming, walking, and boarding amidst the dynamic energy of New York, I have also devoted seven enriching years as a Dog Behaviorist/Trainer. My professional journey includes esteemed stints as a Trainer at the renowned CaliK9, famed for its Netflix show, Canine Intervention. Additionally, I've had the unique privilege to learn from the best in the field, mentoring under the esteemed Cheri Wulff Lucas, and the dynamic duo, Jonathan and Cole from Oregon Tails. My approach to dog behavior is rooted in the belief that dogs require a whopping 95 percent direction with just a minor 5 percent correction. It's all about guidance, showing them the ropes of how to navigate our world harmoniously. Your dog's understanding of rules, boundaries, and limitations isn't just crucial for their well-being but is instrumental for the safety of our community. But rest assured, our time together won't be all work and no play. I make it a priority to infuse our interactions with warmth, excitement, and an underlying sense of fun. Picture this: your dog will not only relish our structured sessions together but will also display noticeable improvements in behavior, bringing a newfound sense of peace and joy to your home. Trusting someone with your beloved furry friend is no small feat, and I understand that. When you entrust your dog to me, you're not just opting for a service, you're embarking on a journey—a journey of understanding, growth, and heaps of tail-wagging fun! Welcome to a world where discipline meets joy, where routine is exciting, and every interaction nurtures your dog's physical and emotional well-being. Here's to happy, balanced dogs and their even happier human companions! Special Note: I wish to unequivocally express my staunch opposition to hitting or any form of animal mistreatment. All behavioral corrections I implement involve either nonverbal cues, firm verbal admonishments, or a brisk, firm touch or leash pop only to garner the dog's attention and redirect them away from unwanted behavior. Furthermore, I am competent in administering any necessary medications or special dietary requirements. Your dog's individual needs are my primary concern. They are my top priority. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family member! When you book with me, you're investing in your dog's happiness and balanced well-being. What could be more valuable than that? Remember, a balanced dog is a happy dog! Also, my service is LGBTQ-friendly! Looking forward to helping your canine companion discover a balanced, happier life through my Rover profile. Chris is fabulous!!! I don't have words yo say how great he is with my dog Carter. Carter is an only child and needs special time with dogs than just a walk. Chris takes such good care of Carter. I and Carter had a break. We are definitely doing this on a regular basis.

My puppy Carter is with me 24/7. I was going out of town and needed a sitter. I found Chris M on Rover. He was amazing with Carter. Since he is also a trainer he helped Carter with some issues. Chris went above and beyond with Carter. Carter doesn't have a lot of time socializing with dogs other then his walks. Chris has a dog and has daycare. Carter was so happy playing with all the dogs and with Chris. Chris was great with Carter and he even gave Carter a bath. If you need a sitter contact Chris. I will be sending Carter for daycare and only use Chris for any dog care needs. He is the best and so good with giving updates and I can't say enough about his care!

Chris did an incredible job with our sweet girl. Our dog was a stray when we adopted her and she can be pretty skittish at times. We were nervous to leave her with anyone but we knew she would be in good hands with him. He did an amazing job and he will be the first person we contact if we ever need a sitter again.

Our first experience with rover and Christian, and it was perfect. I’d give 6 stars if they allowed me to. I was reassured with Chris about Cody through out the day. I will use Chris in the future.

Chris was fantastic with our dog Hugo and we are SO grateful! We rescued Hugo about 2 months ago and he has some separation anxiety. We needed last minute care and are very happy to have found Chris. He is gentle and kind and was able to develop a bond with Hugo that was just wonderful. Hugo is a better dog for having spent time with Chris and his own nice dogs. Chris sent us updates on how things were going, and included pictures and videos to ease our minds. Thank you Chris!!

Schedule

In my profession, every day is a dog day! As a dedicated dog professional, the majority of my day revolves around either caring for dogs, training them, or having client sessions. You could say that pet care is not just a part of my weekly routine, it's the very foundation of it. The beauty of my profession is the flexibility it offers. Whether it's an early morning walk or a late-night training session, my schedule is fluid and entirely centered around the needs of the dogs I care for. Your canine companion will be under constant supervision, either with me or with one of my trusted family members who are an integral part of my team. Each of us is committed to ensuring the safety, comfort, and happiness of your pet. Understanding the enormous trust you're placing in me, I ensure that your dog's well-being is my priority at all times. Whether I'm training them, taking them for a walk, or simply offering them a comforting presence, your furry friend will never be left unattended. And during those rare times when I may be momentarily occupied, rest assured that a trusted family member who is just as dog-savvy as I am, steps in to fill my shoes. The essence of my weekly routine is simple: Dogs come first. Their care, their training, their happiness is woven into every hour of my day. This constant interaction and supervision ensures that your dog receives the attention, care, and guidance they deserve at all times. As your dog joins our family, they'll find more than just professional care; they'll find a home away from home!

Safety, trust & environment

For your dog's comfort and care, I've set up a separate room equipped with cozy dog beds, blankets, TV for auditory stimulation, fresh water bowls, and ample sunlight, not to mention a generous dose of love and attention. Dogs that exhibit good behavior, showing no signs of destructiveness, aggression, and are fully potty trained, will enjoy access to the entire house. I live in a gated community, located within a block of two private dog parks, and also have a yard space for your dog to revel in.

A typical day

I love to simulate your dogs both mentally and physically. We'll play lots of games, check out new smells around the neighborhood, and explore a big park or two nearby. We'll also do basic obedience training and reenforce positive good behavior to achieve a balanced dog. All while making room for lots of cuddles and affection.
