About: Hi There! My name is Raven and I can't wait to hug and kiss your pup right on the snoot! Here is a little info about me: My professional back ground is in Forensic Medicine and I've worked in government for the past 12 years. I recently decided to start working on my PhD and take time away from work. After the recent passing of my sweet Golden Girl, Kelly (retriever, 12) I'm focusing more on things that fulfill me (like hugging dogs and my education). I have had dogs all my life and my house has always been a revolving door for fosters, pet sitting for friends and neighbors, lost dogs etc.. I have experience with everything from geriatric dogs, special needs, post-surgical, administering IV fluids, medications, and I even know doggy CPR! I have two dogs right now; Bagels and 10 year old Corgi and Freya a 7-ish year old husky/lab mix. Both are very calm and sweet and love meeting new friends. I have a pretty decently sized yard that the dogs have full access too (including the house), if you'd like to leave your fur baby with me. I can also do drop-ins for walks, pats, playing and feeding. I would love to hear about you and your dog and possibly schedule a meet and greet before we schedule drop-ins or home stays. I can also do drop-off and/or pick-ups if you're in the neighborhood for a small additional fee. I offer discounts for Golden Retriever's and extended stays. Feel free to ask me about it! I'm currently working from home. Any days that I need to be on campus I will mark as unavailable on the calendar so you can rest assured I will always be around to tend to your pup! I have a large/medium fully fenced backyard and a separate fully fenced side yard that offers a bit more shade. Your dog will have full access to the house that is always air conditioned and never goes above 73 degrees. There are water bowels in the yard as well as a filtered dog fountain inside the house. My home is a ground floor duplex. Completely separate from the neighbors. There are two steps to the front door and two steps to the backyard. If your dog has any special needs please let me know. I can accommodate almost anything including ramps for older pups.

Your dog will be welcome with open arms and paws ❤️ plenty of rooms / space in the house if they need some down time, separation, or their own space to eat etc. They are allowed on all furniture and in bed of course! If your dog is a little weary or shy towards others at first, my boys know that and will give them space and gentle affirmation that this is their home too and they’re ready when they are. + a bath, on me ❤️

About: Having a dog and 2 cats as a kid was the best childhood! I am home most of the day so I have lots of time to walk and play with your pup! I live with my boyfriend who also loves animals. I have been freelance dog sitting/walking for the last year through friends but looking for more furry friends here! I am based in North Hollywood and generally service Noho, Burbank, Toluca Lake, Studio City and parts of Sherman Oaks I don’t accept animals from multiple households at once for my safety and theirs. I have multiple screen doors where they can safely watch the world outside at all the people and dogs who might pass by. I can also offer daytime sitting in someone’s home as long as my laptop and internet access is allowed!

“Amazing care for our two pups!! Elena was super responsive and understanding, even for our last-minute request. We needed doggy day care while we visited Universal Studios, as our hotel didn’t allow dogs to be left unattended in the room. We road-tripped down from Seattle (with our 2 dogs & 2 kiddos) and camped along the way, which left us a little frazzled and haggard... Elena was very empathetic and caring, despite my lack of proper research, planning, and punctuality.. lol Probably should’ve looked into things a bit more in-depth about the hotel pet policy beforehand, but I am incredibly grateful that Elena was able to take the pups while we visited the parks for a couple days. She was very tolerant, observant, and nurturing with our two pets, and I think they had a great time… even though they aren’t the best-trained dogs. We have a 4-year-old sassy chihuahua-heeler mix, and a 1.25-year-old Malinois-cattle dog mix. They are sweet girls, but have a strange dynamic. Elena took them in stride and handled them with care, as if they were her own. 10/10!! Couldn’t have asked for a better pet-sitter in our time of need. Thank you so much, Elena!!”
