All pups are kept clean, fed and stress free while they’re here. I'm also almost always home and I live with my family so someone is always here just in case I need to leave the house. Our home is filled with huge animal lovers so your dog will have a good time and be treated just like family :) Honestly I just love dogs so much and know how nerve wracking/stressful it can be leaving your fur baby while you’re away so I make it my priority that they are safe and happy and taken care of so that when it’s time to pick them up they will feel like they were on their own lil vacation too! I work from home so I’m almost always here and can easily take the dogs out when they need or provide playtime but in the rare case that I do need to leave the house I either take the pups with me or a family member stays with them while I leave the house. I live in an apartment that’s pretty secure and closed off, I’ve never had any safety issues with the dogs. About: Growing up in Chicago I've had dogs/cats my whole entire life. Moving to LA made it unavailable for me to have my own anymore. I can exercise with dogs. I do runyan canyon atleast 3 times a week. I work from home and enjoy getting out every two hours for 30 minutes and having a lil buddy to hang out with during the day while I work. “Amazing care for our two pups!! Elena was super responsive and understanding, even for our last-minute request. We needed doggy day care while we visited Universal Studios, as our hotel didn’t allow dogs to be left unattended in the room. We road-tripped down from Seattle (with our 2 dogs & 2 kiddos) and camped along the way, which left us a little frazzled and haggard... Elena was very empathetic and caring, despite my lack of proper research, planning, and punctuality.. lol Probably should’ve looked into things a bit more in-depth about the hotel pet policy beforehand, but I am incredibly grateful that Elena was able to take the pups while we visited the parks for a couple days. She was very tolerant, observant, and nurturing with our two pets, and I think they had a great time… even though they aren’t the best-trained dogs. We have a 4-year-old sassy chihuahua-heeler mix, and a 1.25-year-old Malinois-cattle dog mix. They are sweet girls, but have a strange dynamic. We’re out for two long walks a day, usually hit the park, and Bear loves meeting other dogs. I’d be happy to have your pup hang with us: walks, hikes, or just couch time. I’ve got a fenced patio, and Bear’s super friendly, but I can crate or separate if that’s better for your dog. They’ll be in good hands. About: I’ve been dog and cat sitting on and off for family and friends since 2010. I love any opportunity I get to sit for them, so I figured I’d sign up here too! I work in Santa Monica Mondays-Wednesdays. Thurs-Fri I’m wfh in Burbank, and my weekends are fairly open/flexible. I love getting my steps in, so I try to walk in the mornings, afternoon, and evenings. Every pet is different, so I’m always happy to defer to the owner’s preferred routine for pet care. I like giving a dog at least three walks a day, but if you have a specific preference, or if your dog needs something in particular (dietary restrictions, vitamins, etc.), I’m happy to accommodate.

I have a large car so I can transport large animals or multiple dogs easily. I currently work on the weekends Friday Sunday Monday from 8-4 pm on Sunday and Monday and 4-12am on Friday. I am completely free during the week to walk dogs, foster animals or do drop by visits. Your dog will have full access to the house that is always air conditioned and never goes above 73 degrees. There are water bowels in the yard as well as a filtered dog fountain inside the house. My home is a ground floor duplex. Completely separate from the neighbors. There are two steps to the front door and two steps to the backyard. If your dog has any special needs please let me know. I can accommodate almost anything including ramps for older pups.

After a few folks moved out of town and others had kids which limited travel time, I’m opening up again. My preference would be to begin those same kind of long term care relationships with people who travel often or for larger lengths of time which allows your pup to feel as though they’re always going to a safe and familiar space with friends they know and love playing with. Working from home has allowed me to better care for my own senior pups and also gives me the freedom to spoil your loved one as well. I do not promise behavioral changes, only current behavioral upkeep. — A hunting dog attacked me when I was four years old. On my way to the cul-de-sac mailbox, it jumped the fence and slammed my head onto the concrete. Scalp split open, I ran home screaming. From then on, dogs terrified me. I hid behind my mum around dogs bigger than me…and at the time, every dog was. I declared myself a cat person, and that was that. Then YouTube appeared. The algorithm’s “infinite wisdom” served up a video of Cesar Millan transforming a “mean” dog into a “nice” one in five minutes. Were all dogs really this easy to understand? If I could do what Cesar did, if I could master dog training, maybe they wouldn't scare me anymore? It became an obsession. I watched thousands of his videos. Before/after. Wild/controlled. Chaos/manageable. Scary/incredibly cute. But watching dogs on a screen was a different beast than working with them in real life. My great aunt in Cape Town, South Africa, gave me my first round of exposure therapy when she took me to a Great Dane farm. Dozens of giant dogs loomed around me. She held my hand the whole time and introduced me to every. single. one. I can do this. I can do this. She has since passed, but being around dogs reconnects me to her memory. It's a heartwarming comfort. Years later, a friend was having trouble on her walk. “Can I try?” I gave her a few concrete instructions from my musings: “Krishna, you’re really good with dogs. She never listens to anyone else, but she’s perfectly calm with you.” “What? Nahhh, she can just sense I’m vegan.” I assumed everyone understood dog body language and I was just slow on the uptake. Turns out, they don't! Not only was I no longer afraid, I was giving lessons! Today, clients fly me across the globe to care for their dogs. My last assignment took me to London for two glorious, busy weeks. While I hope to have a dog of my own again someday, I want to dedicate my time to caring for yours in the meantime.
