“Victoria did a great job taking care of our two cats, including our energetic 5 month old kitten who requires a lot of attention and play time. Our other cat is very shy, and Victoria was able to get her to come out and receive some TLC too. We felt very comfortable while we were on vacation knowing our kitties were being well taken care of!”

“Once again Jeni comes through for the save! Had a last-minute commitment for a day and Jeni was able to swing by to let my dog out twice and feed her. Great updates and my dog is happy! Thanks!”
“Outstanding and reliable, with excellent communication! We have several pets (cat, tortoise, dragon, dogs, fish) and it’s good to know that we can count on Oli to perform our complicated pet routine when we’re away. Thanks!”

“Zack was absolutely amazing with my two dogs while I was away for a few days. My German Shepherd mix isn’t the easiest dog to care for, but Zack went above and beyond to make sure both of my dogs were happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. He’s responsible, trustworthy, and always on time. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my dogs were in such great hands. I came home to two happy, relaxed pups, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Zack to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter, and I will definitely be booking him again in the future!”

“Lexy is amazing with our Chanel! Super reliable, caring, and goes above and beyond. Chanel is always happy to see her, and I love the daily photo and video updates. It’s such a relief knowing I can trust someone who treats my princess like their own. Highly recommend!! 🐶🐾”

We also give our dog the exercise our dog that is needed.
“Sara did an awesome job taking car of my cat! This was my first time using Rover and i was definitely nervous, but sara made it so much less nerve wracking to leave my fur baby. Definitely recommend”

“My Maltipoo has trust issues walking with anyone but me but was comfortable going for a walk with Jesse C. This makes me so happy and with less stress leaving my pup for work etc.”

“Samantha is amazing! She was very patient and caring with my cat in gaining his trust. She sent prompt updates and photos on how he was doing along with updates on what his temperament was like each day. I would definitely request her services again when I am out of town.”

“Julia is so sweet and Rocket really loves her! As an over the top dog Mom, I trust Julia 100%. She is professional, polite, responsive and you can see her love for animals. We are so happy to have Julia to come check in on Rocket!”

“Courtney was absolutely amazing. I'm a crazy dog mom & hadn't ever left my girl. She's a therapy dog & my medical service dog & she goes everywhere with me but we were going to an airshow & I was worried about her ears so I didn't want to take her. We were camping in Malibu & it was difficult to find someone because everyone was a good distance from here but Courtney was agreeable to come to our RV park. She hadn't been here before & was so great at following directions. My dog loved her, I could see from the photos how happy she was. Courtney walked her & played with her. I couldn't recommend her more highly She kept me updated, communicated well, was on time, and most importantly made my pup so happy. She sent me updates for both visits and a lot of really cute pictures. I'm a sitter here on Rover as well and am very picky but if you're looking for a great dog walker/sitter, look no further...Courtney is absolutely FANTASTIC! I can highly recommend her and I will definitely book with her again in the future when we're in the area.”

“Jeff is the dog whisperer! He was genuinely attentive and in tune with my dog. She was so happy and relaxed after spending time with him. It’s such a relief to have found a reliable, kind, and communicative pet sitter I can trust!”

About: I used to have a 125lb Rottweiler of my own(full of love) and the sweetest beagle. I’ve taken care of many pets over the years for family and friends, big and small, cats and dogs, young and not so young. I am working a full-time job in Malibu. I work Monday-Friday 8-4:30. Unless I am within 15 minutes of Malibu or have a doggy door, if your animal cannot hold “it” for 8 hours I either am not right or suggest someone that is available for a potty break. Other than that, I am at home on the weekends/holidays to play and walk/run your dogs as much as needed. My rate can also vary depending on how many pets, but please reach out with questions! I am currently in an apartment in Camarillo with a roommate. If the animals are okay overnight and do not need me, I typically will stay at home unless it is more comfortable for me to stay with the pets.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 7,330 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Cornell. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cornell. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
