Whether your pup enjoys a leisurely neighborhood stroll or a long, energetic hike, I’m happy to tailor each walk to their age, personality, and energy level. I’m in excellent physical shape and enjoy being active, so I’m comfortable with everything from short potty breaks to longer adventures that help dogs stay mentally and physically stimulated. My goal is to make every walk safe, fun, and something your dog looks forward to. I have prior experience caring for celebrity clients’ dogs, but I treat every dog like a VIP. I am also an artist who loves creating pet portraits of many of my former and current customers! After retiring from the corporate world, I’m excited to devote my time to something I’ve always loved—caring for pets. I began dog walking and pet sitting for a celebrity couple in 2002 as a side job, and now I’m making pet care my full-time focus. My schedule is flexible, and I’m available most days for walks, drop-in visits, and pet care. I look forward to giving every pet the attention, exercise, and loving care they deserve. I have experience caring for pets both in clients’ homes and in my own. For about a year, I worked for a couple in the entertainment industry, providing daily care for their pets while they traveled for work. I was trusted not only with their pets, but also with the security and care of their home, including overnight, weekend, and extended stays. I understand the importance of being dependable, respectful of your home, and keeping you updated while you’re away. At home, I recently said goodbye to my beloved companion, Charlie, after nearly 13 wonderful years together. While our home doesn’t currently have pets of its own, that means I can devote my full attention and care to your pet. I prefer to care for one family’s pet(s) at a time so they receive the individualized attention, love, and companionship they deserve.

About: I have been surrounded by animals my whole life, having had both dogs and cats as pets from childhood. With all this experience, I am now 29 years old and I can say that I have enough experience not only of taking care of my own pets but also assisting in taking care of dogs and cats that belong to other people. I have enough practice in taking care of animals regarding giving medicine, feeding, walking, playing with them, spending quality time with them, and paying attention to them. All animals have individual temperaments and habits, which is why I always try to make them feel comfortable, happy, and loved while they are alone without their owners. Being an experienced animal lover, I pay the same attention to other people's pets as I would do with my own. I’m available for pet care every day and have a very flexible schedule. I’m free throughout the day, with the exception of Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 PM to 6:50 PM. This gives me plenty of time for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and spending quality time with your pets. I ensure that all pets get enough love, care, and attention. I always stick to the schedule of feeding, walking, and other procedures that the owner is giving so that the pet feels comfortable and safe. In addition, I am able to administer medication when necessary and follow any additional requirements. Pets get enough water, frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of love. However, most importantly, I treat all animals as if they are mine, ensuring their safety and comfort.

She hadn't been here before & was so great at following directions. My dog loved her, I could see from the photos how happy she was. Courtney walked her & played with her. She sent me updates for both visits and a lot of really cute pictures. I’m available for drop-in visits for cats, dogs, horses and other hoofed loved ones, as well as reptiles, amphibians, fish, and any other little critters. Need me to visit your tarantula? I would love nothing more. :) My partner and I have two cats, three dogs, and pond fish. I have many years of experience with senior cats and pups and administering medications. Happy to do some heavy lifting for pets with mobility challenges (up to 80lbs). I’m big on respecting animals’ boundaries, and know all the body language signs for dogs, cats, and horses. Bonus: my own beloved fur children and I have also completed many positive reinforcement dog training courses (so I won’t undo the progress you’ve made with your puppy)! About: I'm a sensitive, caring responsible individual who loves to play with dogs and with whom dogs love to play. I've worked at the Glendale, CA Humane Society Shelter walking dogs and really enjoyed the experience. I've owned dogs for a good part of my life. However, I recently had to put Taffy, my last dog, to sleep. She was 16 and not doing well. It was heart wrenching and I thought perhaps that rather getting another, I could give the love I have for dogs to others, without having the ultimate burden of ownership. I live in Agoura Hills, CA. There lots of room for dogs to walk and play, lots of trees and grass for dogs to sniff and explore. There are also lots of other dogs in the community and opportunities for dogs to socialize, if the owners and the dogs want. I have a fenced yard and I work from home. I have a flexible schedule. Consequently, I can adapt my schedule to your dog's schedule. I have a fenced yard and I have no other dogs. Even though the house is on two levels, it's easy for dogs to navigate.

About: The last two dogs I had were the best pets I've ever had, one in particular I took everywhere, hiking, running, swimming and even to play basketball. I even took her halfway up Mt. Diablo one time. I feel like every dog owner should expose their dogs to many outside environments, something other than there backyard or house. The only regrets I have about my past ownership is not taking my dogs out everyday. As an owner I believe that dogs should be treated more than just a convenient stress reliever. Dogs can be your closest friend so they ought to be cared for and treated like a great one. What I bring to the table is a genuine love for all dogs and an understanding of their needs. I can be fairly flexible on weekdays for visits and walks, but am mostly available only in the afternoon. Weekends, I am pretty much always available. House sits I can do any day of the week. To start off, I always start off by caring for the pet as outlined by the owner (routines, feeding schedules, medications, things to avoid, walks). But in addition to that, I like to have some fun with the dogs that I sit. I will play with them a bit and in general just hang out with them.

But I love outdoor adventure, and hiking if your dog is up for that too. Your pet is welcome on my couch for extra snuggles but I adhere to the same house rules you’ve trained them to follow. I provide feeding & water bowls. Please bring their harness, leash, and usual food so we keep their tummy happy. Anything else you think will make their stay better is welcome.
