“We have a dog that is our whole world and we were in need of help boarding our “fur baby” for a trip we couldn’t reschedule, after we removed her from an established boarding facility when our dog suffered a brutal attack by another dog. We were petrified to leave our dog, with anyone ever again, but knew we would have to. So research began, prayers went up and then we came across Rover. After more research on sitters with Rover we came across Elaine’s and Marty’s bio. So we reached out to Elaine and Marty who seemed like a great fit for our needs. Wow! Elaine and Marty respond instantly. They were willing to have us come to their home for a meet and greet with our sweet Kaylee and we talked with them for over an hour and saw where she would stay so we could make sure the environment was safe and appropriate for her. We were still nervous, as this couple were strangers to us, but decided to take the leap to trust that they would care for our girl like she was their own. Let’s just say our dog is spoiled by us, and lacked nothing with them. We especially love that they are clearly animal lovers and that they board one dog at a time. Because we were a late board, in regard to our trip, they were still willing to take her as long as we were ok with a 24 hour overlap with another client’s little, social dog. Ours is super social too and we all (both dog’s owners and, sitter) agreed to this arrangement. When we returned to Elaine’s and Marty’s home to drop off Kaylee, as soon as they opened their door Kaylee pranced right in like she owned the place, tail wagging, and very comfortable to see her new friends again. She was so well taken care of! Elaine and Marty gave us daily updates with pictures and videos which made us so happy and helped us relax while we were away. Elaine and Marty exceeded all of our expectations! They even gave us a framed photo with two pictures of Kaylee as a thank you for letting her stay with them. We couldn’t be more pleased, have already confirmed another booking and have asked about a third. This couple is so gracious, so kind and loving, so trustworthy and thoughtful we couldn’t recommend them more highly! It was our first time using Rover and any service like this. Reneta kindly offered a free meet-and-greet so Sydney could briefly get to know her house, yard, and pets. While we were on a 4-night vacation, we got tons of updates and pictures from Renata! Renata was kind enough to let Sydney sleep in her bed, and I am sure Sydney sometimes woke her for some late-night potty times. Renata also mentioned Sydney got better at playing and socializing with her own dogs, as well as the dog she cares for during her doggy daycare. About: I have taken care of my dog since she was 7weeks and she is now 5 about to turn 6 years old, I enjoy taking her on walks and playing with her. I am only working part time right now so I have lots of open time, also my school schedule is easy so I have extra time My household takes very good care of our pets, with healthy food and good sleep. She's a therapy dog & my medical service dog & she goes everywhere with me but we were going to an airshow & I was worried about her ears so I didn't want to take her. We were camping in Malibu & it was difficult to find someone because everyone was a good distance from here but Courtney was agreeable to come to our RV park. About: I’ve been a pet owner for 25 years. I use to be a zookeeper for 8 years and have worked with exotic animals for over 10. I have basic training skills and am good with large dogs. I am currently working part time and have most days free and evenings as well. Local neighborhood walks or pick ups would be ideal, but not necessary. I currently do not have any other pets. I do have a fenced in back yard and live in a house. Bathroom breaks can happen frequently when boarding.

Recently I wrote down a personal goal to spend more time with animals because of the joy I get from seeing them happy and thriving. I grew up with cats in the house and gladly helped friends and family with dogs since I could walk. I've learned how to administer various medications, have taken care of pets of all ages, and am patient with nervous or anxious pets. My current schedule is flexible, so I can work with you in creating a care plan that fits your needs and gives your pet the attention they deserve. Communication is key to a good experience and establishing trust. I like to provide periodic updates so you don't have to worry while you're away.

“Thank you so much to Renata and her family for looking after our 1 year old Chihuahua-mix named Sydney. We are not used to leaving her since she is so young, so I was very sad and anxious. It was our first time using Rover and any service like this. Reneta kindly offered a free meet-and-greet so Sydney could briefly get to know her house, yard, and pets. While we were on a 4-night vacation, we got tons of updates and pictures from Renata! Renata was kind enough to let Sydney sleep in her bed, and I am sure Sydney sometimes woke her for some late-night potty times. Renata also mentioned Sydney got better at playing and socializing with her own dogs, as well as the dog she cares for during her doggy daycare. I would 100% recommend her, and I certainly intend to use her services again soon! “Rajarshi is absolutely amazing! He watched our dog like as if he was his own child! He sent us regular updates with pictures and videos of what our dog was doing during the day! Gave him 3-4 walks during the day, played with him and took such great care of him! We will always leave our dog with Rajarshi!
