Being a pet-parent who is obsessed with my fur babies, I refuse to except anything but the best for them. Clearly, my inabilibty to find someone I wholeheartedly trust, has been limiting to my freedom. I was TERRIFIED to use/trust strangers from an app-based pet care service. When Jared told me about Aaron I was overjoyed. I hoped my pups would love him. Well, I got my wish! When my pups returned home hey CRIED, lol! They were upset that he left without them. I am finally free to travel and just have some time to myself again. That’s the short of it. If you want to know the specifics, keep reading. BEFORE THEIR STAY: 5⭐ for Flexibility and Convenience Aaron definitely delivered. My work schedule was jammed before my trip. I only had a small window and he offered to pop in to do a quick meet-n-greet. Instantly, the pups were drawn to him. I was only going to do 2 days and then opted to extend to 4 days, so (being new to the app) he helped me make the adjustment with ease. He made sure to ask about and fulfill on any special requests/scheduled of my dogs. I could tell in person he was tuned into the needs, personalities, and behaviors of each dog. I saw him engage with each dog in a firm yet friendly, loving, and caring manner. I knew I was leaving them in the right place where my pup would receive plenty of love and attention. Dropping them off was quick, convenient, and smooth. DURING THEIR STAY: 5⭐ for Communication and Positive Interactions Aaron was very quick to reply to my comments, questions, concerns, and needs. He also provided updates without any prompting which alleviated anxiety and created calm. He’s a very calm and easy going guy. His communications were consistently comforting and reassuring. I was delighted by the myriad of pup-pics he sent! It gave me an “staying-in-the-loop” experience, which inspired the calm and confidence I needed to mentally and emotionally unplug from being a pup-parent while I was away. These pics highlighted adventures and fun they were having and Aaron’s experience and expertise required to create a exciting, safe, and calm experience for everyone. I could tell he has a good working knowledge of dog behavior, needs, and care. 5⭐ for Environment, Safety and Supervision Aaron’s place is its own pup-amusement park (like a little maze of things) to explore and plenty of places to lounge. I was happy to see (and smell) how clean the place was. He was quick on the draw when one of the pup already in his care piddled on the floor from excitement, lol. He already has a plan in place including a nearby vet to handle emergencies, which is also reassuring. 5⭐ for Exercise and Playtime He even took a field trip so my pups could go to their favorite dog park (which isn’t close to where he live) which absolutely sealed the deal for making Aaron my permanent go-to dog sitter. They had so much fun my pups were EXHAUSTED for two days after her dropped them off! I’ve never seen my high-energy 3yr old Gus be completely wiped out. THANK GOD FOR AARON … most likely I’ll hire him weekly to get some of that energy out. AFTER THEIR STAY: 5⭐ for Return and Follow Up Aaron was right on time for the drop-off and he remembered all the things I left with him for their visit. As I mentioned before, the dogs cried after her left and they kept going to the door in anticipation of his return, lol. Other than that they took lots of naps the following two days and and slept soundly through the night. As an aside, it also seems like Gus’s behavior (wild energy) was tamed. Overall, I am the most delighted client ever. I am SOLD on Aaron. Try him, you will be too!”
