About: I love all animals and have had dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, hamsters, birds, honey bees, a turtle and fish.... oh my! I am currently a life-coach specializing in health and wellness and because I do this remotely, I have the great opportunity to also be able to help others out by taking care of their home and animals while they are away. I raised a daughter as a single mother and when we went out of town I paid sitters to stay at our home in Aspen and Los Angeles and care for it and my animals while we were out of town, so I thoroughly understand what is expected of a home and animal sitter/walker. I love all animals of all sizes and I would love to help you out caring for your animals and/or home. You can visit my website to learn more about me and my business. My website is KimberlyLynnWilliamsdotcom Because health and wellness is my life, I do not smoke, drink, or do any kind of drugs, or even medication’s for that matter. Because I’m so healthy, I am chemically sensitive. I am only available to sit in homes that use fragrance-free detergent and fabric softener, natural cleaning, products, and do not use any kind of plug-ins, or air fresheners. I don’t have a problem with 100% pure essential oils at all. I do have a little 5 pound toy sized Maltese- Pomeranian dog named Rosie that travels with me. I used to have Rosie and two Newfoundland’s but when I lost my newfies, Rosie needed to be with me 24 seven. She’s 12 years old. She doesn’t care anything about cats and leaves them alone. If you’re interested in connecting, I would be happy to come and meet and see if it feels like a fit. I have my own business and I work from home, which frees me up to health care for your pets in your home. It’s an ideal situation. I only sit in your home as I currently do not offer sitting in my own home. I find that this is more comfortable for the animals to be in their own home anyway.
“Jeremy is truly the best, he has watched our boys multiple times now and they can be a handful! Our pups are always in good spirits after hanging with him for a few days and our home is always very clean when we get back! He’s the best sitter we’ve had in the LA area 😊”

“I knew my doggies were in good hands with Esther. I was able to relax and enjoy my trip. She did a great job house sitting and followed all my instructions. My dogs seemed well cared for and happy when I got home. I especially appreciate the pictures Esther sent every day.”

About: What sets me apart is that I genuinely treat every pet as if they were my own. I understand that every animal has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level, so I take the time to make them feel safe, loved, and at ease while you’re away. I work from home! We have a huge double fenced in yard. Animals are therapy. I had farm animals for years and ready to just give love to dogs and cats. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I carefully follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions. In your home, I treat your space with the utmost respect while maintaining a calm, clean, and secure environment. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, ensuring they receive plenty of exercise, affection, and supervision. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and as comfortable as possible while you’re away, giving you complete peace of mind.
About: Hi! I’m Julia and dogs have always been an important part of my life. I grew up with an Old English Sheepdog that I miss dearly, and caring for her showed me how amazing it is to have a strong bond with a pet. Over the years, I’ve been trusted by friends, family, and neighbors to care for their dogs. I’m reliable, attentive, and committed to making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I have a flexible schedule and would love the opportunity to help care for your pup! I’m an online graduate student, so I have a fairly open schedule. I'm available most weekdays and weekends, allowing me to provide flexible care for your pets. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal with the same care and attention I would give my own. I strive to create a calm, positive environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether we're going for a walk, playing, or simply keeping a routine, I focus on making sure your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away. I'll also keep you updated so you always know how your pet is doing.
“Emma was wonderful with Cosmo! She truly spoiled him and followed all of my instructions carefully. Since Cosmo is a senior, I really appreciated how gentle and patient she was with him, especially helping him up and down his ramp and taking him out in his stroller as instructed. She gave him lots of belly rubs, attention, and love, and it showed! When we got home, Cosmo was happy, relaxed, and showed no signs of stress, which gave me so much peace of mind. Emma also kept our house clean and sent daily updates with photos and videos, so we always knew how Cosmo was doing while we were away. I highly recommend Emma and will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you for taking such great care of our little guy! ❤️”

“Antonia deserves 10 stars! She is lovely, kind, competent, and clearly loves animals. This was my first time having a petsitter in my home to watch my two little dogs and I must say I was a bit nervous. But Antonia washed away all of my doubts. For those of you who will be first-time petsitter users (and future users as well) Antonia is the way to go. Shes really a gift. Took excellent care of my pups and fed and walked them exactly as directed, gave them treats. She let them sleep in the bed with her. My pups fell in love with her. And she left my home immaculate! Also - she sent frequent videos of the pups so I could see how they were doing. I highly recommend Antonia to sit for your pets. They will be in great hands. I’m looking forward to working with her again in the near future. So glad I found her. Thank you, Antonia!!!”

“Celeste took great, loving care of my dog Bella and my cat Kitty. They both absolutely loved her, as I could tell from the many wonderful pictures she sent. She was very conscientious about walking and feeding Bella and spending a lot of time with both Bella and Kitty day and night.”
About: I love dogs and have had dogs all of my live, and had taken care of them when they were puppies, so potty training, playing and keeping and eye on them, and also when they were sick and old, so giving extra attention to their wellbeing. Pets are family members that need to be cared for, treated with respect, as well as provide them with some fun play time. I’m currently working part time so I have time to spend with your pet during week days and can provide visits twice a day in case that is needed. I would keep them on their leash whenever we are outside, always keep the door closed to avoid them running away and follow the house rules.
About: As an enthusiastic dog lover , i bring more than just my affection for animals to every pet sitting job. My experience has taught me the importance of understanding each dog's unique needs and preferences. I specialize in creating a warm, engaging environment where your furry friend will feel right at home. I'm currently studying part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pet(s). I'm available for weekends and weekdays as well most of the time. i have a big fenced yard and a playful dog at home who will keep your pet busy and engaged and happy all the time .
“Stevie took wonderful care of my furry baby. She was well taken care of, fed and entertained. I loved the pictures and videos sent while I was away from my little one. It was very reassuring knowing that she was in good hands!”

About: I have fostered cats since 2020 and have volunteered at my local animal shelters since 2018. I am familiar working with cats and kittens of all ages and needs (bottle feeding - seniors) and can confidently give medicine and clean pets with extra needs. I have worked with small dogs throughout this time (helping stimulate/play and clean them up) and have taken care of young puppies <1 year overnight with around the clock care. I am completely free on weekends from 4am-10pm and am flexible with my hours especially if overnight care is needed. I work full time on weekdays and have a flexible schedule which allows me to work remotely from 7am-4pm. I am free for visits and caregiving 4am-6am and 4pm-10pm on weekdays. I am comfortable and willing to respect your animal’s boundaries where needed, and I will do whatever I can to ensure your pet is safe. I understand some pets are shy and some are more social, and am comfortable working with all types of personalities to cater to their needs as necessary. I can supervise eating/bathroom use as necessary and provide extra stimulation and play time whenever needed.
“Maria was absolutely amazing with my dog, Dolly! I felt so happy and at ease knowing Dolly was in such loving and caring hands. Maria kept me updated with the sweetest photos and videos, followed all of my instructions, and made sure Dolly had plenty of walks, playtime, attention, and cuddles. It was so clear that Dolly was having the best time! You can truly see how much Maria loves dogs and how much care she puts into everything she does. Dolly absolutely adored her, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. I would happily leave Dolly with Maria again and highly, highly recommend her!”
About: We are our pets entire world. So of course they get excited off of the little things. They deserve fun park walks, chasing squirrels, hikes and beach dates added with some delicious healthy peanut butter treats or real fruit snacks. 😊 Im currently working part time jobs, so I have time during the morning and afternoons to walk your pups while full time parents are at work. I have 2 dogs of my own and when I would be at work stressed about my dogs going out, I didn’t want to just call any random person. I love my babies, they are my kids. So I know how important it is to leave your babies with someone who actually loves dogs. I understand how scary it can be to let someone in your home, I am more than willing to meet before so that we can get to know each other before you decide if you want to open your home up to me. I know that something I could never do in my home so I understand the hesitation. If it works better I can come take them out, play and bring them home. Whatever works best for you. I love communication. I’d love to bring them to my house but I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and that’s already a lot in my apartment. 🤍
About: I’ve been taking care of pets since my childhood while living at grandma’s village house. A brunch of “pets” from cats, dogs and chickens - to geese, goats, cows, rabbits, turkeys. I’m available for boarding daily mostly 12-5pm. But every case depends, contact ahead to verify . Not doing early morning or late evening visits or walks. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding, medications, exercise, and house rules, so pets stay comfortable in their familiar space. Change for fresh water if needed
“I can’t say enough about what a wonderful help and a great communicator Courtney has been during our time away! She took such great care of our two dogs, sent updates and pictures regularly and was always extremely thoughtful. Our house was spotless and she will highly recommend her services.”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Monte Nido walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Monte Nido maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Monte Nido choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Monte Nido. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
