“We have a dog that is our whole world and we were in need of help boarding our “fur baby” for a trip we couldn’t reschedule, after we removed her from an established boarding facility when our dog suffered a brutal attack by another dog. We were petrified to leave our dog, with anyone ever again, but knew we would have to. So research began, prayers went up and then we came across Rover. After more research on sitters with Rover we came across Elaine’s and Marty’s bio. So we reached out to Elaine and Marty who seemed like a great fit for our needs. Wow! Elaine and Marty respond instantly. They were willing to have us come to their home for a meet and greet with our sweet Kaylee and we talked with them for over an hour and saw where she would stay so we could make sure the environment was safe and appropriate for her. We were still nervous, as this couple were strangers to us, but decided to take the leap to trust that they would care for our girl like she was their own. Let’s just say our dog is spoiled by us, and lacked nothing with them. We especially love that they are clearly animal lovers and that they board one dog at a time. Because we were a late board, in regard to our trip, they were still willing to take her as long as we were ok with a 24 hour overlap with another client’s little, social dog. Ours is super social too and we all (both dog’s owners and, sitter) agreed to this arrangement. When we returned to Elaine’s and Marty’s home to drop off Kaylee, as soon as they opened their door Kaylee pranced right in like she owned the place, tail wagging, and very comfortable to see her new friends again. She was so well taken care of! Elaine and Marty gave us daily updates with pictures and videos which made us so happy and helped us relax while we were away. Elaine and Marty exceeded all of our expectations! They even gave us a framed photo with two pictures of Kaylee as a thank you for letting her stay with them. We couldn’t be more pleased, have already confirmed another booking and have asked about a third. This couple is so gracious, so kind and loving, so trustworthy and thoughtful we couldn’t recommend them more highly! About: I’ve been taking care of pets since my childhood while living at grandma’s village house. A brunch of “pets” from cats, dogs and chickens - to geese, goats, cows, rabbits, turkeys. I’m available for boarding daily mostly 12-5pm. But every case depends, contact ahead to verify . Not doing early morning or late evening visits or walks. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding, medications, exercise, and house rules, so pets stay comfortable in their familiar space. Change for fresh water if needed

About: I currently have three dogs, a golden retriver, a dachshund mix, and a golden retriver german shepard mixed puppy. I have grown up around dogs and many kinds of animals. Since I was young I have taken care of my dogs, I walk, feed, and clean them. Additionally, I know how to handle a difficult dog becuase my recently deceased lab mix had some behavioral issues which I think is important because not all dogs are easy to walk. I'm currently a college student home for the summer. I'm essentially a sitting duck right now, meaning my schedule is wide open. I can come in the morning, night, or afternoon. I make sure to walk my dogs at least once a day but I try to make it twice a day. I feed and weight my dogs food before giving it to them, and make sure to feed them at the same time everyday. I am very good with dogs and respectful of peoples homes and make sure to keep my own home clean while having three dogs.

She has a big backyard for them to play in, and a patio area inside for them to spend time when it's too hot out. She treated Thor well, and we look forward to having him stay with her again soon.”

I've worked at the Glendale, CA Humane Society Shelter walking dogs and really enjoyed the experience. I've owned dogs for a good part of my life. However, I recently had to put Taffy, my last dog, to sleep. She was 16 and not doing well. It was heart wrenching and I thought perhaps that rather getting another, I could give the love I have for dogs to others, without having the ultimate burden of ownership. I live in Agoura Hills, CA. There lots of room for dogs to walk and play, lots of trees and grass for dogs to sniff and explore. There are also lots of other dogs in the community and opportunities for dogs to socialize, if the owners and the dogs want. I have a fenced yard and I work from home. I have a flexible schedule. I've taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, fishes, reptiles and chickens. But I'm open to any exotic animals as long as you're open to teaching me! I like to provide services like dog sitting, walking and daily check-ins. Prices can vary depending on distance, additional pets, or any extra services. I currently work per diem in Woodland Hills, my shifts are 8 hours as I will be starting nursing school at CSUN in may. If this is something you're uncomfortable with or prefer for me to stay home/check on the dog please discuss this with me, I'm flexible! Love and cuddles will be provided to the pups to make up for the time loss 😉I do enjoy going on walks and absolutely do not mind if a pet needs daily or multiple walks while in my care. A pets safety is always #1, I want to make sure you feel comfortable while you're away knowing that their care is in my hands. I travel a lot as well and I like knowing and being aware that my place and my pet are both safe and in trusting hands.

I work from home and my hours are flexible so I am able to provide your pet with the 24/7 care and attention they need. I live in a one bedroom apartment, if I am caring for your pet in my own space I have plenty of room for your pet to play. I love to be outside and am available for walks at any hour of the day.

I’m currently working from home full-time, so I’m have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding or doggy daycare too. I have a private dogpark in walking distance from my apartment. I have an upstairs balcony with prime pool view. I'm currently working part time so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups at the dog park and exercise. At home dog tv is on for entertainment. I have air purifiers and security cameras in every room. I have a filtered pet water fountain and robot vacuum mop that runs every day.

Not only did she welcome both of our girls on short notice, she cared for them for four days during a week of extreme heat — something they wouldn’t have tolerated safely. This was our first time using Rover, and Diane made the entire experience feel easy and reassuring. She was wonderfully communicative from start to finish, sending updates and photos throughout their stay. One of our girls, Sherry, had an upset stomach, and Diane was so attentive and comforting, letting us know she was keeping a close eye on her. About: My sweet female golden, Kona, is patient with other dogs and has helped fosters learn to relax at home. We trained her from a puppy and would love to help care for your dog. We’ve sat for tiny, shaking chihuahuas who have warmed up enough to Kona to even cuddle her. I work from home full time, so I’m available all day for walks. I work on central time and finish at 3, leaving plenty of afternoon time for play in our fenced patio. I can crate one dog as needed, but pets are allowed on furniture in my home if well trained. I walk at least 5 times a day, and have a bell for dogs trained to ring when they need to go outside. I have a lovely fenced patio for dogs to play in or just relax in the sun.

“Charly had his first stay over with Olivia and the whole experience was exceptional for both Charly and myself. Olivia is very communicative, understanding, attentive, caring and is more than willing to ask and accommodate for/about your fur babies. She sent multiple pictures and communicated the whole stay.
