About: I’ve been a go-to pet sitter for many family members, friends, and neighbors since I was 11, so I’ve had a lot of experience with different animals. I have pet-sat dogs ranging from puppy to senior, and have taken care of cats who ranged in age and tameness (one of which was a former feral). I’m capable of doing basic obedience training (sit, come, lay down, shake) with dogs and can even give it a try with cats (results may vary). The silly dog in my profile picture is my own 14-year-old chihuahua named Lupe, who has needed twice daily heart meds for 2 years now. As such, I’m well-versed in giving medication to pets (pills, other oral medications, ear drops, etc.) and have experience giving eye drops to both dogs and cats. I also volunteer at my local animal shelter cleaning kennels and playing with the cats and dogs (typically large ones) for their enrichment and exercise. I really enjoy interacting with the animals and getting to know their personalities and preferences, as each one is different! My profile even has pictures of a few of the dogs and cats I’ve worked with at the shelter. As training for my shelter work, I’ve even taken a course emphasizing “fear-free handling”, which focuses on paying close attention to the body language of animals and making stressful experiences in shelter life much more manageable for them. As such, I am comfortable reading both cat and dog body language and knowing how and when to reduce their stress. My dream is to become a veterinarian and use my passion for animals, and all that it has helped me learn, to help them :) While I am a full-time undergrad student, Rover is my main job, so I’ll have plenty of time and energy to dedicate to making sure your furry friends are safe and happy! I plan to follow whatever schedule your pet is used to when pet sitting as animals find security in routine. If a schedule isn’t provided I will be sure to ask what your pet’s typical day looks like so that I can follow their routine as best as possible. Cleanliness is of course an important part of caring for pets, so I typically like to change water out daily and rinse both the food and water bowls at least once a day. For walks, picking up after dogs and disposing of it into outdoor trashcans is a no-brainer for me. For litter boxes, I’ll make sure to scoop daily as it’s important for kitty’s health and happiness. Any accidents in the house will also be cleaned daily.

About: I love taking care of all kinds of dogs, big and small, and going on walks with dogs is one of my favorite activities! I find such joy in walking dogs and love giving the dog a great experience. I’m currently working part time, so I am available to take dogs on walks in late afternoons and throughout the days on Mondays and Fridays! I have lots of experience walking dogs and am very aware of my surroundings in order to make sure that the dogs I’m in charge of are safe and enjoying their time outside!

About: I'm very good with dogs I plan to one day be a veterinarian because I dont think there is any better career than spending time with animals and taking care of them. I have two Shepards of my own. and I love playing with dogs and training them and walking them, I get so much happiness with just taking care and being around dogs. About: Hello, I have always had love for dogs of all sizes and breeds, I have the perfect personality to deal with any puppy. I have grown up with 2 dogs a Pomeranian and also an German shepherd. Those were my child hood dogs and I miss them dearly. I love to get exercise with dogs they are the perfect running partner to have. I have open availibility which allows me more time to dog sit and dog walk. I would love to be able to work anytime and day with your puppy. We would also attend the dog park as well and play catch and cruise the streets together. I am looking forward to working with you and your puppy. Im a Independent contractor so I have plenty of time to spend with the dogs and become best of friends with my 4 legged friend. I have a fenced community and we have an area were the dogs can run around and play. I also will take the dog to the dog park if allowed.

About: Aside from the fact that my favorite animals are dogs, I have been surrounded by them for as long as I can remember. In college I was an animal shelter volunteer and thus have experience with all sizes, ages, breeds, and personalities. They are such loyal and lovable animals and I would love to to be able to take care of yours since I don't have any myself. I am a very outdoorsy person and can keep up with your quick dogs, or make sure to exercise those who need to get into shape. :) For those that just need to be cuddled and shown some love I would also make sure to let them know how cared and loved they are, making sure they get the rest and companionship that they need. I'm a full time medical student that studies at home, I may be gone for a 2 hour block on a certain day, but overall I'm pretty much home all day. I live in an apartment right next to the river and park, so you know I'll be walking your dogs as much as possible, getting them some fresh air!
