Caring sitter, treat pets as family
I’ve been caring for animals since I was in 5th grade and have experience with a wide range of pets and needs. My background includes puppy training, basic grooming, senior and special needs care, and I’m currently working toward additional training certifications. I have hands on experience administering medications, applying ointments, monitoring recovery after spay/neuter procedures, and ensuring pets are safe and comfortable during healing. I’ve trained puppies in basic commands, crate training, and potty training, and provided long-term care for senior dogs, including frequent potty breaks, wound care, baths, and preparing gentle meals for sensitive stomachs. I also enjoy creating enrichment activities such as lick mats and simple homemade treats (with owner approval), which can be especially helpful for calming anxious dogs and providing mental stimulation. I approach pet care with patience, attentiveness, and genuine affection, and treat every pet as if they were my own 🙂 prioritizing their comfort, safety, and emotional well being at all times.

Lexi was a great sitter for Jax and Winnie. She sent tons of updates, photos and videos. The dogs were happy and relaxed when we got home from our vacation which tells me how comfortable she made them feel in our absence.
Follows all instructions to the letter; very friendly and communicative; Théodore had a great time and was very well cared for this week.
Lexi was super communicative with her post-visit, so I really was able to feel comfortable in knowing that my Lulu was being taken care of. I feel confident that when I leave for a longer trip, my kitty will be getting the care and attention she needs with Lexi.

Lexi was great! My cat is super shy, but Lexi was really patient and got her to open up throughout the week. She was also very responsive and was great about providing updates/pictures. I would definitely recommend Lexi and will book with her again!!

My apartment sadly does not allow pets, however I am open to looking after pets in your home. I would love to chat and learn about your pets needs. I’m comfortable with most things such as administering medicine, walking, overnight stays etc. as long as your pet is not aggressive.

A typical day
A typical day with me is structured, calm, and enrichment-focused, with an emphasis on training, routine, and emotional regulation — especially for puppies and younger dogs. For dogs, the day includes purposeful walks that allow time for sniffing and exploration, which is an important part of mental stimulation and learning. I balance physical activity with training-based engagement, such as practicing basic cues (sit, stay, calm, leash manners), impulse control, and age-appropriate learning throughout the day. This helps puppies and high-energy dogs stay mentally engaged while reinforcing good habits. I also incorporate enrichment activities like puzzle games, scent work, and lick mats (with owner approval) to support focus and calm behavior — particularly helpful during longer care blocks or when owners are working away from home. For puppies, I pri oritize consistency and routine, including potty breaks, crate support, rest periods, and gentle guidance to prevent overstimulation. My goal is to reinforce the structure owners are already working on at home, not disrupt it. For cats and kittens, care is similarly individualized. I rotate toys and play styles based on each cat’s preferences, use interactive play to support natural hunting instincts, and prioritize calm companionship and routine. Whether it’s wand play, supervised exploration, or quiet downtime, I focus on helping cats feel secure and comfortable. Throughout the day, I communicate clearly, follow routines closely, and provide care that supports long-term training goals, so pets remain calm, engaged, and well cared for while their owners focus on work.
