About: I have spent half my life learning the body language and needs of animals. I have a wide variety of animals I have cared for such as frogs, lizards, horses, pigs, goats, dogs, cats and more. I also have experience administering medication to elderly and disabled pets. I am very adaptable and patient. I currently do my own pet care at home with my two cats, however, my schedule other than that is very open and I would love to be able to help others out. For my cats I have plenty of enrichment toys and activities that we do. Depending on the pet and preference of the client, I am capable of adapting to your pets needs whatever they may be.

About: Experienced animal sitter and care professional for several years. I have two fur babies myself and have always had a special bond with animals, which has allowed me the pleasure of taking care of friends and families fur babies over the years. I see pets as an extension of their owner, and am just here to give assistance and additional support while you’re away :) Please share all the fun details about your animal and I can’t wait to meet them! I’m a student so my schedule so is fairly open and I’ll have plenty of time to play with your fur babies :) Let me know what schedule works for you, and I’ll work around it. In your home, I’m open to following the rules you set and going with the flow you typically have for your fur babies. I’m adaptable, versatile, and affectionate with all animals.
“Annabella took great care of my cat - made sure she was fed and got her insulin, sent lots of pictures, and spent lots of time playing and letting. Annabella was also super communicative - would love to hire her again!”

About: I love caring for and protecting all animals; dogs, cats, other mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and/or insects. Essentially if it eats, breaths and needs maintenance, I am able to take care of it. I've had several dogs in my life, from small to large sized dogs. I have also owned a couple exotic pets that required unique needs and diets. I have no issue with cleanup or waste removal that may be needed while caring for any extended family member. Not having any other obligations other than "Rover" (besides my GF) I am able to dedicate my full attention on the services I am providing to care for the loved ones I am entrusted to. I have experience and I am able to train, if requested.

“Hired Amanda to drop by and meet n greet our cat and dogs for an upcoming vacation where the cat has to stay behind. She's absolutely perfect. The animals were interested and engaged immediately. She has a lovely calming demeanor and was comfortable and confident in her role and responsibilities. She has deep ties in this community with mutual acquaintances and many years experience. It's not easy handing over your keys and your fur baby(ies) to a 'stranger' but this felt really right. Hiring her for our out of town dates for drop in visits for the cat.”

“I had a great experience with Anna. I was comfortable leaving my 2 dogs with her while I was traveling. She was taking good care of them, made each visit on time and kept me updated about everything.”

“Samantha is doing such a great job taking care of my cat Tyler while I’m out of town. I love the thought and attention she puts into her reviews and photos. You can tell she gets along with pets naturally. thanks Sam!”

About: I’ve had very much experience sitting for family and friends pets throughout the past 6 years. I do also have experience working with animals through volunteering at an animal shelter for about a year and a half. As of now, I am working in a vet clinic as a veterinary assistant. I am working my way to become a registered veterinary technician! I do have a dog of my own, he is two years old so he is very energetic! I always make sure to take him on walks before I go to school or work! My grandparents do also have a dog which I will always check on and walk as well! Not only do I have my own personal pet care but I also care for pets while I’m working as a veterinary assistant. My dog does get his regular walks and playtime since he’s still a puppy. I always assure he’s well fed, has fresh water and will sometimes give him specific enrichment toys. I always assure the same goes for my grandparents dog, although she is on the older side, I care for her very well.
“Almira was amazing! Had a family emergency and had to leave town super fast so had coworkers tag team watching my dog. Turned complicated so I looked at rover to see if anybody can help super last minute and Almira absolutely saved the day. Thank you so much for everything! Will definitely be contacting you again.”

About: I have over five years of experience caring for dogs as part of my work as a Personal Assistant and House Manager. My responsibilities have included daily walks, feeding, administering medications when needed, coordinating vet and grooming appointments, providing companionship, and ensuring pets were safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners were away. I understand that every dog has unique needs and routines, and I always strive to provide reliable, loving, and attentive care. As a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet sitter, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to easily adapt to my clients’ needs and priorities. I am available during different times of the day, including mornings, afternoons, and throughout the week, with flexibility on weekends as well. In the client's home, I adapt to the pet's familiar surroundings, maintaining routines and providing attentive care. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Chatsworth
Philip and Lauren were great! They dropped in at the scheduled times took care of everything as we had agreed. We received pics and vids of Lucky so we knew he was fine and messages keeping us up to date. This was our first time using Rover and will definitley be repeat customers. I would recommend Philip and Lauren without hesitation!!

Lexy is one of the best pet sitters out there! A trip for me out of the country over 4th of July and no worries about my 2 cats hearing fireworks and getting scared. Lexy took good care of them since when I got home they were lounging around looking pretty content! Lots of love and treats and professional care. I highly recommend Lexy!! Joanne

Emily is fantastic! She completed her drop ins at the time scheduled and sent lots of pictures. You could tell my cats were super happy with having her there. Even my super scaredy-cat warmed up to her while I was away my schedule is just all over the place and she was so accommodating to last-minute changes as well which I really appreciate.

Lexi was super communicative with her post-visit, so I really was able to feel comfortable in knowing that my Lulu was being taken care of. I feel confident that when I leave for a longer trip, my kitty will be getting the care and attention she needs with Lexi.

Amanda was great and went above and beyond with Chopper who insisted on playing hide and seek all weekend long. She kept us well informed and was very easy to communicate with especially when we received a possible evacuation notice for a fire that was close by. We look forward to working with Amanda next time.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Chatsworth. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
