Marine Biologist & Animal Lover!
What sets me apart is a lifetime of experience and genuine love for animals of all shapes and sizes! I’ve had dogs since I was nine years old and have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, having had three of my own. I understand the patience, attentiveness, and extra care that older pups sometimes need. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for two years, where I gained hands-on experience working with both puppies and adult dogs, helping me become comfortable with different personalities, temperaments, and needs. As a Marine Biology graduate, I’ve also spent years studying animal biology and welfare, alongside caring for a variety of animals throughout my life, including cats, hamsters, and even tarantulas! Whether your pup is a playful puppy, a gentle senior, or somewhere in between, I aim to provide attentive, compassionate care and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I treat every animal as if they were my own!

I primarily offer pet care in my client’s home, where pets can remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings and routines. I take the time to understand each animal’s individual needs, personality, and schedule to ensure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away. For dogs, this includes walks, playtime, feeding, fresh water, and plenty of attention and affection. For cats, I’m happy to provide feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, enrichment, and companionship while respecting their individual personalities and boundaries. I also have experience administering medications and caring for senior pets, so I’m comfortable following specific care instructions, dietary requirements, medication schedules, and exercise limitations. Having volunteered at an animal shelter for two years, I’m familiar with animals of different temperaments and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and attentive care. I believe communication is just as important as the care itself, so I’m always happy to provide regular photo updates and messages to keep owners reassured while they’re away. My goal is to treat every pet as if they were my own and make their time apart from you as comfortable and stress-free as possible!

Schedule
Having recently graduated with my MSc in Marine Biology, I currently have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to accommodate pet care throughout the week. This allows me to be flexible with walks, drop-in visits, and pet-sitting arrangements. I’m happy to work around your pet’s individual routine, whether that means morning walks, afternoon visits, feeding times, or simply providing some company while you’re away. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so daily dog walks are something I genuinely look forward to! I understand how important consistency and routine are for animals, and I’ll always aim to make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and gets plenty of attention while you’re away.
