Safety, trust & environment

In our home, we offer a safe and engaging environment with a fully enclosed front and backyard where dogs can play and explore. We share our space with our 4-year-old Brittany Spaniel, who is well-socialized and loves the company of dogs of all sizes. We don’t crate dogs unless they are already crate trained and their crate is provided by the owner. We spend plenty of time playing, interacting, and attending to each pet’s needs based on their unique personality and comfort level. When caring for pets in our clients’ homes, we provide the same personalized attention—whether it’s playtime, feeding, or quiet companionship. We make it a priority to understand each animal’s temperament and routine so they feel secure and happy while you’re away.

Information Philip & Lauren M. would like to know about your pet

Before accepting a new client, I like to gather a full picture of your dog’s needs and personality to ensure the best possible care. It’s important for me to know if your dog has any special needs, takes medication, or has behavioral quirks—such as anxiety, reactivity, or any social sensitivities around people or other dogs. For dogs staying in my home, I require that they be moderately to well-socialized, as they’ll be sharing space with my own friendly pup, Indiana. I’m unable to accommodate dogs who are escape artists, climbers, or high jumpers, as our front yard only has a 4-foot fence and the driveway gate is temporarily under construction. My goal is always to provide a safe, comfortable, and positive experience for every dog in my care, so open communication is key!

A typical day

I love tailoring activities to fit each dog’s unique personality and needs—whether they’re high-energy, more laid-back, or somewhere in between. At my home, dogs can enjoy both mental and physical stimulation through walks, games, and lots of playtime in our modest-sized front and back yard. Our dog Indiana is a friendly, well-socialized pup who makes a great companion for dogs who might need a buddy or a little extra comfort. For pop-in visits, I make sure to engage each pet with play, affection, and attention. If the client approves, I’m happy to bring Indiana along for a fun visit or doggy playdate. I can also take their dog for a walk or simply spend some calm time at home to help ease any loneliness while their humans are away.
