“Ethan was perfect for Poppy! She is a rescue and needs calm and patient support as we work on socializing her. Ethan’s calm demeanor and patience with her was just what we needed. His knowledge of animals and training tips were very much appreciated as well. He is trustworthy, has great communication. I would give Ethan 100 stars if I could.”

About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience taking care of dogs and cats for friends and family. I’m patient, responsible, and make sure pets feel safe, happy, and cared for. Whether it’s walks, feeding, or just spending time with them, I give pets the attention they deserve. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention and care. I’m available most days, including weekends, and can work around your pet’s routine to keep them comfortable and stress free. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority. I always follow care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special needs. I provide a clean, calm, and secure environment and make sure pets are supervised and safe at all times. I also give updates so you feel confident while you’re away.
About: I’ve spent my entire life caring for animals, from beloved pets to working as a pack care manager with wolves and wolf-dog hybrids. I have extensive hands on experience in real world animal care and behavior. I recently graduated from a specialized animal care and training program, where I deepened my knowledge in training, welfare, and animal behavior. I’m especially passionate about understanding how animals think, communicate, and thrive, and I bring that enthusiasm into every animal I work with. Honestly, my whole life revolves around pet care. It’s important to me to provide an enriching life to my own pets, and of course to the pets that I care for regularly. I thoroughly follow all directions given by owners and am very meticulous and detail oriented. I have experience caring for geriatric animals, as well as animals who need medications multiple times a day and specific, personalized needs.
“Another great drop-in with Anthony. He's a very understanding and patient person and that really helps with bonding with our anxious dog. He's always on time and doesn't mind taking the time it takes to get to know a dog.”

“Adeline is such a gem—so sweet, caring, and passionate. She’s wonderful with my 4-year-old, AMAZING with my puppy, and my dogs cherish her as much as I do. She’s reliable, attentive, and I know I can count on her to give the best care. I’m so grateful to have found her as our weekly sitter. She’s the best!!”

“Kimberly is amazing as always!! Thank you for going above and beyond and for constantly keeping in touch too. Your care is very appreciated by both myself and my fur baby😊”

“Kiyarash was awesome! He responds super quickly and it was easy to set up a meet and greet. He gave great updates and sent photos of both of our cats. We will be using him for our future needs!!”

About: I am a huge animal lover and had my first dog when I was 12. Since then I had many pets including dogs, bunnies, hamsters and tortoises. We are a family of three and work from home most of the time so your pet will have constant love and attention. Our chocolate lab Bailey is a goofball and as sweet as they come. He has seizures so we are well trained in caring for animals with health conditions and can administer medications when needed. We have a 6 foot fenced yard that is fully secured and a doggy door that allows your fur baby an access to the yard at any time. We treat our pets as family and yours will be part of our family when you are away. We are working from home most days and only away for a few hours at the time. Daily walks will be provided along with playtime and lots of love. We have a fully fenced large yard with shade and lots of grass. We also have a friendly playmate dog to keep your fur baby company.
“Ariana, no words can explain the gratitude my pup and I have towards Ariana! Great experience! Kept me updated with photos and words after each visit! Always on time which is very important to me since I’m leaving my pup alone… even accepted an additional visit since I was running behind getting back in town! Thanks again! Would recommend and book again”

About: I love to go on long walks and give consistent attention. I’ve had pets my whole life I just can’t afford one right now otherwise I would. I believe your little one with have a great time in my care. I am currently working from home and like to take breaks to go on walks for fresh air so I’d love the company. I also enjoy going to the dog park to watch the dogs play. I live in a large house and have a back yard. I have a dog bed as well as a cat box because I use to have both. I would truly love the company and enjoy just chilling on the couch or playing at the park.
About: Dogs have been my life since I was 7 years old — that’s over 35 years of loving, caring for, and understanding what makes every dog tick. I own three incredible pups myself: two Pitties and a Doberman mix, so I know firsthand what big, energetic, loving dogs need to thrive. What truly sets me apart is that I volunteer at my local animal shelter, where I work hands-on with all breeds — from tiny dogs to large and powerful ones. I’m comfortable and confident with every size, temperament, and energy level because I’ve seen it all. Walking dogs isn’t just a service for me — it’s something I genuinely love. Your pup will get attentive, caring walks from someone who treats every dog like their own. I’m bonded, insured, and committed to giving your furry family member the best experience possible. Dog walking and pet care fit naturally into my daily routine. I’m available seven days a week with flexible morning, midday, and afternoon time slots. Whether you need a regular weekly walker or a one-time walk, I can work around your schedule and make it happen. Your dog’s safety is my absolute top priority on every single walk. I’m bonded and insured, so you have full peace of mind from the moment I pick up the leash. I walk in safe, familiar neighborhoods and keep dogs secure and controlled at all times — I handle big, powerful breeds every week at the shelter so no dog is too much for me. I send updates, photos, and check-ins during every walk so you always know your pup is happy and safe. Your dog will be treated exactly like one of my own three.
About: I have a lot of experience making friends with dogs and cats. I understand the importance of proper feeding, care and walking. I strictly follow all your recommendations. Your pet is under reliable care with me! I am at home full time, so I can devote enough time to walks and games with my little guest. Especially if you need early walks. My apartment has 2 bedrooms and a large living room. Directly opposite the house there is a great Warner Center park where we can walk in the company of other dogs.
“Megan did a wonderful job with my pup Monkey walking 2x a day for a full week. She sent great updates after each walk. Responsible and responds quickly- would use again! Thank you Megan!”

About: I’ve grown up with animals and have always had a strong, calm connection with them. I’m gentle, patient, and very attentive, and I focus on making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and caring for them like they’re my own. I am currently unemployed so I have lots of free time! I’m available any day Monday through Sunday mostly anytime after 12 pm! I usually always have my phone by me so I should respond quickly :) I always prioritize a pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any house rules. I make sure pets are always supervised in safe environments and never left in situations where they could get hurt. I also keep the home clean and secure, and I’m respectful of the client’s space. My goal is to make pets feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible while their owner is away.

West Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
We found Christine on Rover and were immediately impressed by her glowing reviews and experience. Since our senior dog can no longer handle the stress of a kennel, we booked Christine for 2 drop-ins a day over a long weekend. She was incredibly professional, arriving for a meet-and-greet to learn our home layout and expectations. Throughout the stay, she was perfectly on time, spent a full 30 minutes playing with our pups during each visit, and ensured they were well-fed. The frequent photo updates were a huge relief for our family. Christine has truly earned our trust and our dogs' hearts—we will definitely be booking her again!
Aubrey is amazing. She took such wonderful care of my senior kitty and took the stress away from being away from her. Sending pics and videos, making sure to address my particular concerns over kitty’s comfort. She also made sure to tidy up any mess my kitty made during the week which was a big help. Thank you for taking such great care of everything during the holiday, Aubrey!!!

I hired Natalie for a meet and greet with my dog. She was very communicative up until booking. She showed up on time and was very professional and seemed like she had a lot of experience. Her passion for animals and this kind of work is very visible. I look forward to hiring her in the near future.
