It gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. We came home to happy, relaxed dogs, and everything was handled exactly as expected. Highly recommend Adeline!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I've fostered dogs, cared for many of my own, and spent years walking and looking after countless furry friends. Whether it’s a playful pup or a senior in need of extra love, I treat every animal like they’re my own—with patience, care, and plenty of belly rubs. Pet parents can trust that their beloved companions are in safe, loving hands with me! I have a very flexible schedule and which allows me to be very attentive to all my furry friends! I’m home most of the day so I can make sure the pups get plenty of loving! I provide a safe and comfortable environment for the dogs in my care. My fenced-in backyard offers plenty of space for supervised play, and I’m happy to accommodate crate-trained pups if needed. Plus, with plenty of walks and attention, your furry friend will get the exercise and love they deserve!
“Megan was great, she sent photos of Chilito every time she came to visit him. If I had any questions she was always very responsive. I would love to have her back next time I need a sitter.”

“Ariana was great with our cat! I was worried as he is a sensitive guy & shy with new people but they quickly bonded and he was well taken care of. Thank you Ariana!!!”

About: I am a huge animal lover and had my first dog when I was 12. Since then I had many pets including dogs, bunnies, hamsters and tortoises. We are a family of three and work from home most of the time so your pet will have constant love and attention. Our chocolate lab Bailey is a goofball and as sweet as they come. He has seizures so we are well trained in caring for animals with health conditions and can administer medications when needed. We have a 6 foot fenced yard that is fully secured and a doggy door that allows your fur baby an access to the yard at any time. We treat our pets as family and yours will be part of our family when you are away. We are working from home most days and only away for a few hours at the time. Daily walks will be provided along with playtime and lots of love. We have a fully fenced large yard with shade and lots of grass. We also have a friendly playmate dog to keep your fur baby company.
“I had a great experience with Anna. I was comfortable leaving my 2 dogs with her while I was traveling. She was taking good care of them, made each visit on time and kept me updated about everything.”

About: I believe all the sitters from here are good. I only can speak for myself,I’m a highly sensitive person , I’ve been taking care of animals since my childhood, I was a part of a rescue team in Russia and trying to do the same over here ,I try to respect any kind of being no matter how small or big it is. I have 3-paw ginger boy Akio and his sister Tora . If you need help with your furry baby ,reach me out ✨🐾 As a pet owner I know how hard it is to find and trust someone you don’t even know or met before. What’s helping is to check and understand the personality of caregiver and look closer to her/his moral values and beliefs in a daily life (even before they create an account on this platform) ✨🐾🌸 I can be available most days during the week ,except some time frames when I have my trainings. Most of the time I prefer to spend with animals, since I have an ability to connect with them and understand their feelings and needs. About: Ive taken care of dogs mainly some cats, for over 10+ years from my own personal dogs to friends and family neighbors, walking, feeding etc. I’m currently working from home so I have a lot of time on my hands to take care of not only my dogs but yours as well. My availability is open! If you are deciding to board, we have a two bedroom apartment and a whole dog park that is fenced off to take your little one for potty breaks, etc.
About: I love caring for and protecting all animals; dogs, cats, other mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and/or insects. Essentially if it eats, breaths and needs maintenance, I am able to take care of it. I've had several dogs in my life, from small to large sized dogs. I have also owned a couple exotic pets that required unique needs and diets. I have no issue with cleanup or waste removal that may be needed while caring for any extended family member. Not having any other obligations other than "Rover" (besides my GF) I am able to dedicate my full attention on the services I am providing to care for the loved ones I am entrusted to. I have experience and I am able to train, if requested.
About: I've grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I would catsit and dogsit for friends in college. I have volunteered at animal shelters and dog rescues many times and enjoy it so much! I am working part-time at the moment, so I have free time in the late mornings and early afternoons. I can't wait to meet your fur children! I am very respectful of everyone’s home. I’ll follow whatever instructions you give me. I currently don’t have pets of my own, so I’m happy to spend time with yours.
“Julia is so sweet and Rocket really loves her! As an over the top dog Mom, I trust Julia 100%. She is professional, polite, responsive and you can see her love for animals. We are so happy to have Julia to come check in on Rocket!”

Danielle us the best! Very caring and very thorough with her check ins. She is very caring with my fur baby. She goes above and beyond. She is definitely my go to from here on out. I've used Roverr alot and She has been the best ever!!! Thank you again Danielle. 🥰
Anica was great! She was communicative and took really great care of our kitties while we were gone. I really felt like they were in great hands. The cats also really seemed to like her which definitely matters! I’m hoping to book Anica again for future trios this year and would recommend her to anyone else with cats.

We found Christine on Rover and were immediately impressed by her glowing reviews and experience. Since our senior dog can no longer handle the stress of a kennel, we booked Christine for 2 drop-ins a day over a long weekend. She was incredibly professional, arriving for a meet-and-greet to learn our home layout and expectations. Throughout the stay, she was perfectly on time, spent a full 30 minutes playing with our pups during each visit, and ensured they were well-fed. The frequent photo updates were a huge relief for our family. Christine has truly earned our trust and our dogs' hearts—we will definitely be booking her again!
Aubrey is amazing. She took such wonderful care of my senior kitty and took the stress away from being away from her. Sending pics and videos, making sure to address my particular concerns over kitty’s comfort. She also made sure to tidy up any mess my kitty made during the week which was a big help. Thank you for taking such great care of everything during the holiday, Aubrey!!!

I hired Natalie for a meet and greet with my dog. She was very communicative up until booking. She showed up on time and was very professional and seemed like she had a lot of experience. Her passion for animals and this kind of work is very visible. I look forward to hiring her in the near future.

- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
