About: I love caring for and protecting all animals; dogs, cats, other mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and/or insects. Essentially if it eats, breaths and needs maintenance, I am able to take care of it. I've had several dogs in my life, from small to large sized dogs. I have also owned a couple exotic pets that required unique needs and diets. I have no issue with cleanup or waste removal that may be needed while caring for any extended family member. Not having any other obligations other than "Rover" (besides my GF) I am able to dedicate my full attention on the services I am providing to care for the loved ones I am entrusted to. I have experience and I am able to train, if requested.
“I couldn't recommend Daysha enough. From the very beginning, she was very easygoing, kind, and quick to reply to messages. During her drop-in visits, she went above and beyond when caring for our puppy. She was very communicative, patient, and willing to go the extra mile. She was very respectful of our home as well. The experience was so wonderful that we almost want to gatekeep her!”

“Ariana is the first sitter I have ever booked on Rover or any other similar service. She set the bar high, and I am so happy to have found her! Responsive, friendly, highly empathetic, and asked great questions. We needed assistance having eyedrops administered to a large, shy cat who does not enjoy the process at all. She suggested a strategy of making him feel comfortable and taking time to coax him out, and it worked! She even helped me in a pinch with an additional last minute drop-in request on the weekend. I would not hesitate to recommend Ariana to anyone, and I plan to use her again in the future for this cat and my other pets. Thank you, Ariana!”

About: I am an animal lover who is also a mother so I am well trained in patience, kindness, understanding, serving and guiding! I show respect to all living things and I stand up for anyone who might not have their own voice to. I have a lot of availability as I am fully dedicated to this job! I'm open to on-going jobs or just one time help, anything you need. I have a very safe home in West Hills. When I care for pets I make sure all their needs are met including food, water, play, clean body, clean environment and love!
“Caira was wonderful! She was very sweet and I felt comfortable leaving my cat in her care. She even took the time to meet my cat beforehand, which I greatly appreciated. It gave me peace of mind knowing my cat was well looked after. I would happily book with her again.”

“Lauren was the best!! took care of my kitties, snakes, and scorpion!! super communicative and went above and beyond to make sure the babies are well cared for. would definitely book again:)”

“Another great drop-in with Anthony. He's a very understanding and patient person and that really helps with bonding with our anxious dog. He's always on time and doesn't mind taking the time it takes to get to know a dog.”

About: Pets (especially dogs) are so healing for me! I can’t own any right now, so if I can spend some time with yours, that would be amazing. I’m currently unemployed and would appreciate any opportunity to increase my income due to this economy! I can walk them, cuddle with them, feed them; whatever you need. I’ll make sure to let them feel love while their family is away. I’m currently unemployed, so my schedule is pretty open! If I’m not pre booked, I’m all yours! I do enjoy going to the gym or moving my body somehow, so taking them for a walk (if applicable, would be great! As long as you leave me a set of instructions and where food, water, (meds if needed), and essentials are, I’m all set to care for your pets.

About: I believe all the sitters from here are good. I only can speak for myself,I’m a highly sensitive person , I’ve been taking care of animals since my childhood, I was a part of a rescue team in Russia and trying to do the same over here ,I try to respect any kind of being no matter how small or big it is. I have 3-paw ginger boy Akio and his sister Tora . If you need help with your furry baby ,reach me out ✨🐾 As a pet owner I know how hard it is to find and trust someone you don’t even know or met before. What’s helping is to check and understand the personality of caregiver and look closer to her/his moral values and beliefs in a daily life (even before they create an account on this platform) ✨🐾🌸 I can be available most days during the week ,except some time frames when I have my trainings. Most of the time I prefer to spend with animals, since I have an ability to connect with them and understand their feelings and needs. About: USE MY CODE MARISF01875 FOR $20 OFF BOOKING From growing up with pets to working in a vet hospital, animals have always been at the center of my world. While my job is mostly administrative, I’m lucky to connect with every fur baby that walks through our doors— and their humans too! I’ve picked up a lot of knowledge just by being in this environment, from understanding pet behavior to recognizing when something might need a professional’s attention. What sets me apart? I have direct access to veterinary care, and I’m well-versed in how to handle unexpected situations calmly and with care. Your pet will be treated like my own—whether that means a cozy walk, playtime, or simply being a comforting presence while you're away. I bring love, attention, and a little vet-clinic peace of mind to every visit. I work full-time at a veterinary hospital, which keeps me close to pets (and pet parents!) every day. I’m currently looking for sitting and drop-in opportunities near my workplace so I can stay close to both the job and your pet—making it easy for me to check in regularly and be nearby in case of anything urgent. On weekends, I’m fully available for more dedicated, around-the-clock care, whether that’s overnight stays, extended visits, or just extra snuggles and walks. I only offer pet care in the comfort of your pet’s home, where they feel safest and most relaxed. I follow your care instructions closely—whether that’s feeding, walks, medication, or playtime—while keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. My goal is to make every visit feel calm, loving, and familiar, so your pet feels comfortable even while you’re away.

This was our second time with Anica checking on our three kitties while we were out of town, and she was great just like the first time. She is communicative, follows instructions, and genuinely cares for our cats. I’m so glad to have found someone local that I’ve been able to rebook and anticipate we’ll continue to request Anica for future times we’re away!

Danielle us the best! Very caring and very thorough with her check ins. She is very caring with my fur baby. She goes above and beyond. She is definitely my go to from here on out. I've used Roverr alot and She has been the best ever!!! Thank you again Danielle. 🥰
We found Christine on Rover and were immediately impressed by her glowing reviews and experience. Since our senior dog can no longer handle the stress of a kennel, we booked Christine for 2 drop-ins a day over a long weekend. She was incredibly professional, arriving for a meet-and-greet to learn our home layout and expectations. Throughout the stay, she was perfectly on time, spent a full 30 minutes playing with our pups during each visit, and ensured they were well-fed. The frequent photo updates were a huge relief for our family. Christine has truly earned our trust and our dogs' hearts—we will definitely be booking her again!
Aubrey is amazing. She took such wonderful care of my senior kitty and took the stress away from being away from her. Sending pics and videos, making sure to address my particular concerns over kitty’s comfort. She also made sure to tidy up any mess my kitty made during the week which was a big help. Thank you for taking such great care of everything during the holiday, Aubrey!!!

I hired Natalie for a meet and greet with my dog. She was very communicative up until booking. She showed up on time and was very professional and seemed like she had a lot of experience. Her passion for animals and this kind of work is very visible. I look forward to hiring her in the near future.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
