About: I love caring for and protecting all animals; dogs, cats, other mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and/or insects. Essentially if it eats, breaths and needs maintenance, I am able to take care of it. I've had several dogs in my life, from small to large sized dogs. I have also owned a couple exotic pets that required unique needs and diets. I have no issue with cleanup or waste removal that may be needed while caring for any extended family member. Not having any other obligations other than "Rover" (besides my GF) I am able to dedicate my full attention on the services I am providing to care for the loved ones I am entrusted to. I have experience and I am able to train, if requested.

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life. I got my first pet at age 4 and have been taking care of cats and dogs ever since. I currently own 3 cats that are keeping me on my toes. I have experience administering medications when took care of my diabetic cat. I'm currently unemployed, so you have my undivided attention. I'm hoping to make pet sitting my next full time gig. I currently have full availability I currently live in a 2 BR apartment in a gated community, with a dedicated dog walking area. I will gladly let your dogs out in your yard, if that's what you're comfortable with or walk your doggo in his/her favorite stomping grounds. I'm totally flexible.

About: Fostered young kittens and cats for 2 years. And had a dog growing up my whole life :) makes me happy to be able to spend time with them <3 I work from home everyday of the week except Tuesday’s and Wednesdays. So am able to make this work most days! Also live in a great pet friendly neighborhood so lots of space for walks. I make sure the pets are not feeling forced and give them space to adapt on their own to the new apartment. I’ve seen it works better! And same with introducing myself in their usual environment
About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 15 years, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I have hands-on experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, and fish, so I’m comfortable caring for a wide range of pets with different needs, personalities, and routines. I also have experience caring for newborn puppies—including helping raise nine puppies at once after my own dog gave birth. That experience taught me patience, attentiveness, and how important consistency and gentle care are, especially for pets that need extra support. I’m very detail-oriented when it comes to feeding schedules, medications, special instructions, and maintaining your pet’s normal routine. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or requires extra attention, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I know how important trust is when choosing a sitter, and my priority is giving you peace of mind and your pet the best care possible. I work from home full-time, which allows me to easily integrate pet care into my daily schedule. I’m able to provide regular walks, feeding, playtime, and supervision while maintaining a calm, consistent environment. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any special instructions provided. In my home or yours, I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, supervision, and affection while also respecting their individual personalities and boundaries. I keep a clean, safe environment and closely monitor behavior, appetite, and energy levels so I can quickly notice anything out of the ordinary. I also provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for, and for you to have complete peace of mind.
About: I grew up surrounded by pets, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. Friends and family regularly trust me to care for their pets because they know I'll treat them with kindness, attention, and respect. Whether it's playtime, walks, or quiet cuddles, I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. My goal is to care for your pet as if they were my own, so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in caring, reliable hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I currently have a flexible schedule. I work part-time on weekends from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and even on those days I make sure pets are walked and fed before I leave and receive plenty of attention, walks, and care when I return. If I pick up an occasional weekday shift, it's never more than four hours, so I'll still have plenty of time to provide consistent care, exercise, playtime, and companionship. Your pet's comfort, routine, and happiness will always be my priority. I care for every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I always follow each pet owner's routine and instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special preferences. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, so I take the time to build trust at their pace. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home or mine, I'll provide plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I've fostered dogs, cared for many of my own, and spent years walking and looking after countless furry friends. Whether it’s a playful pup or a senior in need of extra love, I treat every animal like they’re my own—with patience, care, and plenty of belly rubs. Pet parents can trust that their beloved companions are in safe, loving hands with me! I have a very flexible schedule and which allows me to be very attentive to all my furry friends! I’m home most of the day so I can make sure the pups get plenty of loving! I provide a safe and comfortable environment for the dogs in my care. My fenced-in backyard offers plenty of space for supervised play, and I’m happy to accommodate crate-trained pups if needed. Plus, with plenty of walks and attention, your furry friend will get the exercise and love they deserve!

About: I’ve taken care of different animals along 15 years like: dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles. With my years of experience you get gentle and responsible care for your fur babies. They will be well taken care of like my own. When I’m not caring for seniors, I’m caring for people’s fur babies. Looking after others has always been my passion and I treat every animal with the same patience, kindness, and love I’d want for my own family. I treat every home with the same respect and care I would my own. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walking, and play time to help them feel safe and comfortable. I’ll make sure your home is left just as I found it. my goal for both you and your pets to have a complete parade of mind while you are away
“Ariana has been my cat sitter several times, and she’s always fantastic. Most recently, she cared for my cat for five days and went above and beyond by watering my garden too. I always come home to a happy, well-cared-for kitty. She’s reliable, thoughtful, and truly great at what she does. I highly recommend her!”

About: Senior dogs and dogs with special needs have a special place in my heart. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine and quirks, moving at their pace and learning what makes them feel safe and comfortable. 〰️ I’ve shared my life with dogs since I was little, growing up with German Shepherds and learning early that every dog has their own personality, preferences, and way of experiencing the world. Every dog has their own way of communicating, and I love taking the time to learn their language; they are conscious, beautiful souls. I also have bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology, where I was able to study animal behavior and communication. 〰️ I’m based in the San Fernando Valley, and my flexible schedule allows me to serve families throughout the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and Antelope Valley. My Rover profile may be new, but my experience with dogs isn't; I'd be grateful for the opportunity to meet your best friend. My goal is to learn what makes your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved, so you can leave knowing they’re with someone who truly enjoys caring for them. When I'm not with the doggies, I'm in the classroom as a substitute teacher in either the AV or SFV. I get to choose when and where I work, allowing me flexibility in my schedule for dog care. I like to spend as much outside time as possible with the dogs (weather permitting) and do mentally stimulating activities (especially with my senior babies). Activities like "where's the toy", "which hand is the treat in", etc. Little things to keep them mentally engaged. I love being outside, and I love long walks, so me and the doggies tend to make a good team.
“Lauren was the best!! took care of my kitties, snakes, and scorpion!! super communicative and went above and beyond to make sure the babies are well cared for. would definitely book again:)”

About: I have spent half my life learning the body language and needs of animals. I have a wide variety of animals I have cared for such as frogs, lizards, horses, pigs, goats, dogs, cats and more. I also have experience administering medication to elderly and disabled pets. I am very adaptable and patient. I currently do my own pet care at home with my two cats, however, my schedule other than that is very open and I would love to be able to help others out. For my cats I have plenty of enrichment toys and activities that we do. Depending on the pet and preference of the client, I am capable of adapting to your pets needs whatever they may be.
About: I grew up with dogs and cats and always found myself helping friends and neighbors to train their dogs and look after their cats. It is beyond rewarding to see the comfort and relaxed nature of pets develop as a result of training and devoted care and time. I have experience with cats raised from birth, and fostered dogs from unfortunate situations (most recently a stubborn husky who learned to play at 9 years old). In addition to happy pets, my goal is to support busy pet owners with pet clean up and organization recommendations to help make your life easier and more time to appreciate your furry friend. I work full time and am a returning college student with a consistent schedule and experience managing hectic calendars. I maintain a promise to stick to all appointments and communicate promptly regarding any changes and/or updates. I am available during the week after 6pm, and on the weekends from 9am to 5pm. Please feel free to message me with any questions and we can troubleshoot appointments and care that work for you. I cater to all animals based on their needs and comfort levels. From highly energetic play, to quiet company, I focus on building trust with your pet in their safe space to reduce stress and help support structure and routines. I welcome conversations with you to understand what is most important in your expectations and the elevated treatment of your pet(s).

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Canoga Park
Philip and Lauren were great! They dropped in at the scheduled times took care of everything as we had agreed. We received pics and vids of Lucky so we knew he was fine and messages keeping us up to date. This was our first time using Rover and will definitley be repeat customers. I would recommend Philip and Lauren without hesitation!!

Danielle us the best! Very caring and very thorough with her check ins. She is very caring with my fur baby. She goes above and beyond. She is definitely my go to from here on out. I've used Roverr alot and She has been the best ever!!! Thank you again Danielle. 🥰
Emily is fantastic! She completed her drop ins at the time scheduled and sent lots of pictures. You could tell my cats were super happy with having her there. Even my super scaredy-cat warmed up to her while I was away my schedule is just all over the place and she was so accommodating to last-minute changes as well which I really appreciate.

Caira was wonderful! She was very sweet and I felt comfortable leaving my cat in her care. She even took the time to meet my cat beforehand, which I greatly appreciated. It gave me peace of mind knowing my cat was well looked after. I would happily book with her again.

We are so happy we found Cecilia to take care of our two cats. It was a huge relief to be able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing that they were in good hands. Cecilia was super responsive to messages, very reliable and consistent with time, and she even managed to get our very shy rescue cat come out to say hello! The photos she sent every day made us smile and we knew the cats were happy based on their behavior. We would highly recommend and will absolutely be booking Cecilia again next time we travel!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
