This was my first time using a professional car sitter. I was very nervous about it. When I first met Annabella, my mind was put to ease. She is very sweet and has a calm and gentle personality. I have 4 cats. One is a diabetic and needs insulin injections. Annabella did an excellent job checking on them, feeding them, and taking care of the litter box. I am so happy and relieved to know that I can call her again the next time I go out of town.

We have an older pup and were concerned about leaving him in the care of strangers. Alexis and Melisa exceeded expectations and not only followed our instructions (re: his medications, etc,) to a T but gave our dog lots of love. Would definitely work with them again.

Lisa has been amazing! My husband and I got a puppy and so this is all very new to us and using rover. She was helpful with setting up the appointments and came to meet me and our puppy first which was very reassuring. She has been on time for every appointment and our puppy loves her. She has even been helping with teaching him tricks. We are very happy we met Lisa and have already booked a few more times.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid and my experiences have ranged from puppies to senior dogs with special medical needs and disabilities. I’m an animal lover and have love and respect for all living beings. I do my best to make sure your fur baby is comfortable, attended to and loved. I’m currently a stay at home dog mom, so I will have all the time available to take care of your beloved dog. I’m available for boarding, daycare, drop in visits and walking. My home has a roomy, fenced in backyard and I have a super friendly pup at home. There is plenty of space to play, run and sniff! I do not let the dogs go outside unattended. They are always supervised to ensure safety. I’m also able to crate your dog whenever needed if that is preferred.

About: I have a lifelong love for animals and many years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Growing up in a family with veterinary professionals in it, I absorbed a wealth of practical knowledge. I have a strong, understanding of pet health, safety, and hazard prevention. While I’m not a vet myself, I am fully comfortable administering medications, and managing specific care routines. I pride myself on being attentive, calm, playful, and reliable. Whether your pet is a high-energy pup with zoomies or a senior cat needing a gentle touch, they will be in safe, knowledgeable hands. I am currently working from home with an incredibly open and flexible schedule, your pet will have my undivided attention. My weeks are completely free, making me a perfect fit for pets who thrive on constant companionship, need frequent potty breaks, or require strict, time-sensitive medication schedules. Because I share a vehicle with my partner, my schedule is highly optimized for House Sitting. If you are looking for a sitter who doesn't just 'check in,' but actually hangs out, plays, and keeps your pet company all day long, I’m your guy!" For me, keeping pets safe and happy comes down to two things: sticking to their routines and treating them like my own. I have a lot of experience managing different personalities, medical needs, and schedules, so I know how important consistency is for a pet's peace of mind (and yours!). I have three strictly indoor cats of my own, so I’m used to managing a multi-pet household. I keep up with multiple litter boxes daily, make sure they always have fresh water and dry food, feed them wet food twice a day, and at minimum play with them an hour a day. I regularly look after an older dog who gets two hours of walks a day to keep him active. I make sure he’s fed at 8:00 PM on the dot, and because he loves his crate, I safely tuck him in there whenever I have to step out for a bit so he feels secure. I’m completely comfortable with specialized medical care. One of my regular clients has three cats, and one requires time-sensitive medications via an inhaler and oral syringe. I also have experience with modern pet tech, like automatic litter boxes, and I follow the owner's schedule for cleaning them out and refreshing the automatic water fountain.

Anna did an excellent job of taking care of our 5 year old Australian Shepherd mix dog - Kalani. Our dog is a recent rescue and this was the first time we had left her. Kalani can be a little shy and nervous around new people but Anna came over and met her and Anna knew exactly how to approach her. Kalani loves to play ball and Anna kept her very happy by throwing the ball and wearing her out during her visits. She sent us pictures and updates and I could see how happy Kalani was so I did not worry at all. She is an excellent dog sitter and we will be using Anna again and would highly recommend her!!

I am sorry we were not able to work together this time but I do think Janelle would be a good sitter for someone else.

About: Hi! My name is Su, and I'm based in the San Fernando Valley. I've been providing pet care for roughly 5 years. Having grown up around animals, caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I also have two cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or just wants some company and cuddles, I'm happy to provide attentive, reliable care tailored to their needs. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. This summer, I'm available Monday through Friday at any time, with occasional weekend availability as well. I look forward to meeting you and your pets, and I can't wait to help give them the care they deserve! I've worked with children for the past 7 years, many of whom have special needs, which has helped me develop patience, reliability, and strong attention to detail. Since I'm off for the summer, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I'm available on weekdays from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with occasional weekend & housesitting availability. Because of my flexible schedule, I can easily fit walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feedings, medication (if needed), and plenty of love and attention into my daily routine. I'll make sure your pet's routine stays as consistent as possible while you're away, so they feel comfortable, cared for, and happy. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pet is a big decision. My priority is creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment while maintaining your pet's normal routine. I'll follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any household guidelines you provide. I treat every home with respect by keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. If requested, I'll also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.

She’s also trustworthy and i felt very comfortable and safe having her come inside my home and watching our dogs. About: I grew up with 3-4 dogs in my house at all times. I love being able to make sure dogs are taken care of and loved on when watching them. I always make sure to tend to the dog’s needs and provide that comfort space for them, allowing them to be comfortable quickly with me. I am very easy going and very good at communicating, so you will not have to worry about bad communication throughout the watch. I am currently doing online school and I coach softball so the summer is fairly free for me if I do not have my days blocked off. I have lots of time to tend to your dog. I am very mindful about doing things for a long amount of time because I know I have a responsibility to take care of your dog. I am able and willing to take care of your dogs however you need me to. I am very easy going and love to just relax when I can so I give dogs that space to relax in my place as well. I love to match the dog’s energy so if they want to relax or play, I am comfortable providing that!

About: Ive had furry best friends since the day I was born, I know how special they are! Making other people and pets happy makes me happy. I currently have open availability, I’m taking college courses online and summer is approaching. I’m indifferent to getting up early or staying up late for pet care. I have 3 dogs, one super needy frenchie and two crazy golden retrievers. I also have a black kitty. I’ve seen it all and done it all from house sitting for weeks to a simple walk around the neighborhood.

This was my first time using Rover, and Genesis was the perfect dog sitter for our dog, Sheldon. My dog is pretty picky, but Genesis was able to make friends with him very quickly. She was very kind and playful with him, and I felt totally comfortable trusting him into her care. She went above and beyond making sure he was taken care of. I loved how well she kept me updated, with pictures and updates on how Sheldon was doing. Each time she sent me pictures of him playing, it reassured me that I made the right decision, having Genesis looking after him. She looked after our house while we were gone and left it exactly how I left it. I feel like I got very lucky finding her. I will definitely rebook Genesis to look after our dog.

Halle provided 3x a day drop in visits over four days. She was always on time and stayed with Luka for at least the the amount of time requested. As of June 2026, there are 15,871 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Granada Hills. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Granada Hills stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Granada Hills. On Rover:

  • 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
