“They took such great care of my Daisy girl and sent lots of pictures every day! You can tell they truly love dogs. Can’t wait to book with them again!”

“Camille was a joy to work with. Courteous, thorough, professional, conscientious, flexible. She sent photos and updates every day. I felt very confident that my little Lulu was in safe and caring hands. Highly recommend.”

“Jack had the best time with Chan Woo and their dog Cream! They were extremely communicative and sent lots of pictures throughout the stay. We felt so happy that we could enjoy our vacation as Jack looked so comfortable and relaxed at their place. We will definitely be rebooking!”

“Ruby was so happy staying with Nicole and her family! She loved playing with Coco and she loved her walks with Nicole. I will definitely have Ruby stay with Nicole again.”

“Stephen and David took very good care of Winona and are very professional with dogs. They were so flexible with our schedule and communicative. Winona came back looking refreshed and happy. :)”

“My dog had a wonderful time being cared for by Nayira and her family. She made it easy for my husband and I to relax on vacation knowing he had so much love and attention. She also was great communicating when issues came up. Would absolutely recommend booking with Nayira and I’m sure my dog is looking forward to his next stay. :)”

“Ashton and her husband took wonderful care of Mango while I was on vacation! Ashton was extremely responsive and sent me daily updates. Mango came home healthy and happy. I will absolutely use them again!”

“We’ve used James a few times and he’s always great to work with! He sends daily updates, responds quickly and is easygoing. We’re happy to have someone we can trust to watch our dog. We recommend him and will continue to use his services so long as he’s willing.”

“I recently moved to the Sherman Oaks area and was so happy that Emma was available at the last minute to help me with watching over my Shih Tzu. I will definitely be reaching out to her again without hesitation! I can definitely count on her!”

“Lily had a fun sleepover at Sarah’s place for a few days. Sarah has a beautiful backyard and sent me updated photos of Lily having a good time. She told me that Lily was having a good time and that made me so happy that she was in good hands. I’m glad a found an occasional sitter for Lily! She’ll be back soon :)”

“Omg, Natalia was amazing! Her and her puppy are gracious hosts! It was so wonderful not to have any worries while out of town for work. She gave proper updates on walks and play time. With plenty of pics of my dog resting and having fun!”

“Nancy is the best! Her exuberant, friendly personality makes her a great dog watcher as well as a pleasure to work with. She immediately made my pup and I feel at ease when we met her, and has always been very communicative and helpful. I feel great about leaving my pup with her - I know he is in the best of hands. In fact, he has so much fun, I sometimes wonder if he's sad to leave her and come back home!”

“My dog, Bert, loves being with Stacey and her dog, Lucy. Stacey sends lots of pics and Avery always looks happy. I appreciate all that Stacey does to make sure Bert feels right at home and loved. Thanks❤️”

“I highly recommend booking with Mandie S. We were staying in Burbank where pets were not welcome and I am so glad I was able to book at Mandie's. I knew Celeste and Rocky really enjoyed their stay because Mandie sent me videos of them wrestling in the morning, the way they always do at home. Celeste has allergies and Mandie knew just what to do because her Shit-Zu also has allergies. Mandi gave me a bag of special hypo-allergenic dog food to try at home to see if it will help Celeste as much as it helped her dog! Now that is going above and beyond what most sitters would do! Communication was prompt as was drop off and pick up.”
“Best boarding experience my pup has ever had! He’s not exactly the easiest boy to handle given how energetic he is, but after our initial meet and greet with Ashlee I had 0 concerns. She told me about the dog rescue organization she created so she definitely will give your pup the care and attention they need. She also took my dog on pack walks and long hikes around Runyon Canyon! She has so much space on her fenced off property and the sweetest dogs of her own that all played well with my pup and helped keep him busy! I genuinely believe he had a better time than I did while I was away. He came home cuddly and so tired so I know he had a blast! Would recommend her to all of my friends and everyone else reading this”

“We couldn’t be happier with Marcelo e Elaine. They took care of our dog for 40 days and kept sending daily updates with photos and videos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Our dog came back happy and healthy, clearly well-loved. We highly recommend Marcelo e Elaine to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and compassionate pet sitter.”

“Sean has watched our dog, Ziggy, multiple times now. Sean is a great guy. He's personable, patient, he sent us pictures and updates while we were out of town. He obviously loves dogs and has the patience to watch our pooch, since she's diabetic and blind, she takes a lot of extra care. Thank you, Sean, we'll be back with Ziggy sooner or later!”

“The longest my little Josie had ever been away from home was 2 days (and that was with Keely a few weeks prior) She did so great, that this time she stayed a full 7 days! Not only was this a big step for us, I was going to be out of the country. I never would have felt comfortable with anyone else. I received many updates and photos each day and Josie was not only safe and being taken well care of, she looked like she was having a ball! I called it “Kamp Keely”! If you are looking for an excellent, caring sitter, I can’t recommend anyone higher than Keely.”

“Alina was so wonderful. Our regular dogsitter had to cancel on us last minute. Alina came to the rescue and watched our dog for a 4 night stay. We were nervous to leave our senior dog (who has some special needs) with a brand new person. Usually we book an initial one-night stay with a sitter before doing anything more than 24 hours. It turns out we had nothing to be worried about. Alina checked in with us regularly and had very accurate descriptions of how our dog Bedu was settling in. By the end of her stay Bedu was in love. We brought home a very happy pup who was so well looked after, I can happily say she also had a little vacation herself. Alina’s residence is right next door to Petco, which was very convenient for us as we had forgotten to pack some supplies and stopped there on the way.”

The median cost per night for dog boarding in Sherman Oaks is $63
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sherman Oaks
Honestly one of the best boarding experiences I’ve had! I felt so comfortable leaving my dog with him from day one — he was super personable and friendly, which made drop-off so much easier. Loved getting daily updates, it really put my mind at ease. I actually didn't even worry about my dog's safety the whole trip, which let me actually relax and enjoy my vacation for once lol. Will 100% be booking with them again!

We had a wonderful experience with Alina! Everything went perfectly, and we felt completely at ease leaving Ami in her care while we were away in Sequoia. Ami was happy, relaxed, and settled in very quickly, which is very unusual for her since she normally has a hard time when we leave. It was clear that she felt safe and comfortable. She absolutely adored Alina and her husband, especially her husband! When we picked Ami up, he arrived while we were saying goodbye, and Ami was just as excited to see him as she usually is to see us. That says everything about how loved and well cared for she was. We’re so grateful for the amazing care and would absolutely trust Alina with Ami again. Highly recommend!
Christine went above and beyond for last minute changes with Cinco. She will be super nice and sweet with your dog and follows all your directions very well. Cinco can be very shy and indifferent with strangers but he warmed up to her really quick. I will absolutely book her again and recommend her to anyone. Thank you Christine.

Sarah was great with our dog Ryder who had some extra separation anxiety while staying with her for the first time and kept her up at night- especially during the 4th of July weekend with fireworks etc. Sarah was communicative about this so we could help problem solve and work towards a solution for the remainder of Ryder’s stay. She was also flexible with pick up and drop off times. Would love to book with her again if she is open to it!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
