Pet care experience

THE highest 5-star reviews on Rover

I am home with the pups pretty much the majority of the day:I work from home as a certified pet grief counselor (APLB/AAVSB). I also run #MissionWellington with our “TreatsForPups” pet nonprofit, bringing food and blankets to the homeless pets living out in the streets. I love dogs!! **Please read my full profile before contacting me and send me the pertinent updates for your pup** As my profile shows, I only take pups who are crate-trained for night-time safety; it is a matter of liability as I am unable to check on them while I’m unconscious. If you do not have your own crate, I’m happy to provide a loaner crate for night-time safety, so long as you can confirm your pup will be happy :) Same rules apply to my pup :) Safety first, fun second, everything else is bonus!!

Pina always takes great care of our dog Oliver! He has a great time and enjoys her company and the other dogs. Her yard is an oasis he enjoys relaxing in every time.

Doggy Day Care • Jul 28, 2026

I’ve known Pina for 5 years now. She’s the only Rover sitter I trust. Pina has a beautiful backyard where my dog Roz loves to explore and play with other dogs. I’m always given daily updates with photos. My senior dog, Sid, who passed away a few years ago always loved his time sun bathing in Pina’s backyard. I can’t recommend Pina enough.

Another successful stay with Pina! Charlie has a little anxiety being away from us and can sometimes have trouble with other dogs, but he always seems super relaxed when he stays with Pina and her boy Wellington ❤️

Pina is the best—she truly loves my Toby like he’s hers as well. I am so lucky I found her so many years ago!!!

Schedule

Your dog will have indoor/outdoor access while always fully supervised. My 5000sqf Zen Garden Backyard is secure with a 6ft wall. Very dog-friendly house (they can be on the couches if they want to, so long as they are potty-trained) :) They can run & play in my garden but it is landscaped....so if they have too much energy and they tend to dig holes or shred plants, then my ZenGarden would not be the best environment for them. So long as your pup is not aggressive or destructive towards other pets or my personal items & my landscaping, we will be cozy & happy!!

Safety, trust & environment

I lost my two beloved boys to cancer in July '17 and in September '18. Wellington was my super sweet golden doodle. He taught me to love dogs and enjoying pooch dates & long hikes :) Handsome was my brave yellow lab and he taught me to be brave and to be in the moment, and that it's never too late to adopt...

Pups are always in my care. This is a non-smoking home, with no children. For safety purposes purposes, I feed the pups separately, I will abide by your meal timelines & preferences and follow all of your instructions I have a 5000 ft.² garden that is with a 6ft wall all around, and pups are never unattended. For liability purposes, I can only accept pups who are crate-trained for night time, as I cannot check on their safety while I’m asleep. Please request drop-offs & pick-ups in 30 minute windows as I schedule my pet grief counseling sessions around your pick up and drop off times preference.

A comfortable, healthy and safe environment for them is our Nr. 1 priority, I believe in sustainability, no pesticides in our organic garden, and no chemicals on the wood floors. Also, I'm a non-smoker!! I love to play with them as much as they enjoy playing with one another and we love cuddles. There is attendance here with them 97% of the time. They are super happy here and we understand how important it is to not have to worry about how your baby is doing while you are away. We have early mornings in the Zen-Garden; while it's hot outside we stay cool in the A/C; and we enjoy breezy afternoon/early evenings in the ZenGarden together. It's like a Doggie Zen Park where every pup is friendly and sweet and happy. I will always text you pictures and daily updates of your dog's vacation through the Rover App once a day =) I am also happy to brush teeth, administer any daily meds, pills, eye creams/drops, Benadryl, or even subcutaneous fluids if/as needed (there’s a $15/day TLC-charge for any type of daily TLC-medical-care, it’ll be added to your booking), and I respect any routines we will discuss at the first drop off. Having lost 2 dogs to cancer, I am very well versed in patiently administering meds as needed. Looking forward to taking care of your furbaby soon!! - [ ] Rates & times: - [ ] Boarding covers up to 24hr period. Friday morning to Sunday morning is 2 nights. If you drop off early morning Friday and pick up late night Sunday, you'll be charged for 2 nights plus a daycare. Thank you :) Neighborly agreement: Earliest drop off/pick up 9-9:30am/6:30-7pm. ****When you message me, let me know what times you have in mind: Please include a 30 min window for drop off & a 30 min window for pick up, and I’ll let you know if I can make it work with your schedule. Looking forward to hosting your furbaby! **Any pet who is not yet potty trained, or is incontinent, or has a unique potty situation requiring me to get up during the night, will be booked at the puppy rate, regardless of age. **Any pet above the 15lbs weight limit listed in my profile, will be booked at the holiday rate regardless if it is a holiday or not. *I ONLY do meet-n-greets for stays that are longer than a month.
