Hello Paw-rents! My name is Cassie I have owned pets since I could walk and adore all animals. I have furbabies of my own so I understand how important it is to find someone who understands and cares about your babies as much as you do when looking after them. I have over 25 years of varied animal care experience, and about 8 years of professional pet care, several years of which I spent at a vet clinic as a vet assistant and primary kennel care giver. I cared the animals that were boarding or sick or staying overnight for recovery. I fed them, cleaned their living quarters, gave them baths when needed, took them for walks and outside to do their business, administered medication if needed (including insulin shots for pets with diabetes) and played with them. I have aided in the birth of several litters of kittens and one litter of puppies. A little over a year ago, I quit my 9-5 job to work full-time for myself doing petcare because I love it so much! In addition to being a Dog/Cat/general animal lover, I am also a Cat Behavior Specialist and Independent Pet Care & Rescue partnered with LA Kitten Rescue. I have very diverse animal experience including farm animals. I have experience with: ✔︎ Dogs with epilepsy & seizure meds ✔︎ Administering insulin shots, subcutaneous fluids, IV fluids, etc ✔︎ training puppies & senior care ✔︎ small or large dogs ✔︎ various temperaments ✔︎ allergies ✔︎ disabilities ✔︎ giving medication ✔︎ separation anxiety ✔︎ safety AND most importantly, your pet’s comfort! I do this full time under my fully branded company name, Paws Paradise LA and also have a wonderful assistant who lives onsite at my house — double the love and attention for your pets! We are available every day during the week and weekends to snuggle on your pets, take them on walks or play outside, and give them lots of toys & mind puzzles to play with. Services scheduled before/after 8am-8pm are subject to a $30 early bird & late owl fee. When your pet is in my care, they are my priority. You will receive photo and video updates throughout their time with me so you can keep connected with your pet even when you're apart! SERVICE AVAILABILITY: Pet taxi/chauffeur: 7 days a week, $20 per round trip. - Perfect if you need help getting your pet to/from the groomers, vet, daycare, etc. THIS SERVICE REQUIRES A SPECIAL REQUEST - ASK ME IN A MESSAGE (select “Drop In” visit for your service and I can adjust pricing on my end before confirming). If your pet requires a chaperone (vet visits where someone needs to be present with the pet) the hourly is $25/hr in addition to the chauffeur fee. 🙌💕 I drive a Lincoln MKC and equipped it with a comfy pet hammock in the back seat with pet seatbelts! I have a panoramic sunroof and roll the windows down for pups who love car rides! Walks and drop-ins: 7 days a week all day. Boarding: 7 days a week Doggie Daycare: 7 days a week, 8am-8pm. Earlier drop offs/Later pickup times available upon request for additional $30 early bird/late owl charge. Pet chauffeur services available for $20 per round trip. DAYCARE & BOARDING: I can currently accommodate up to 5 guests for daycare and 5 guests for boarding (sometimes more, depending on pup size and temperament). Pups are treated with love and like a part of our family. They are allowed to sleep in my bed or hang out on my couch, watch tv, or hang in the kitchen! I live in a spacious storybook 4 bedroom cottage with fully fenced and secured front and back yards! I provide: ᴥ︎ comfortable home environment ᴥ︎ fresh filtered water dispensed from a fountain ᴥ︎ outdoor walks and play time in the yard ᴥ︎ socializing ᴥ︎ healthy dog treats and chews ᴥ︎ peanut butter stuffed Kongs ᴥ︎ mind puzzles ᴥ︎ lick mats ᴥ︎ beds, blankets, toys, & food/water bowls What you should bring: ᴥ︎ Enough food that covers the duration of the day/stay while your pup is here ᴥ︎ If you have a preference for treats, etc. that your dog has, please bring them along ᴥ︎ If you will be doing recurring daycare, you can bring things to keep in a designated cubby for your pet at my daycare HOUSE SITTING & DROP INS: DROP INS: 30/60 minute reservations where I walk, feed, and play with your pup or cat. HOUSESITTING: Overnight care with a 15-20 min walk in the evening for dogs with morning potty break, in addition to a potty break/15-20 min walk midday/afternoon and hanging out for 1-3 hours depending on my other client commitments. If my afternoon is busy, I’ll spend more quality time with your pet in the evening and vise versa. Longer/additional walks must be booked as an added service. Routine feeding is included. Medication administration is $5 per dose. ***PLEASE NOTE: House sitting is NOT 24/7 constant care. When you book me for house sitting, you can expect that I will spend the night in your home with your pet unless you specify that I do not need to sleep there or if comfortable sleeping accommodations are not available. If your home does not have air conditioning, please provide a fan for air flow. ⚠︎ ︎I currently d͟o͟ n͟o͟t͟ accommodate any dogs who exhibit any aggression to any breed, size, or age. ⚠︎︎ ~Please schedule in home visits if your pup has aggressive tendencies. ⚠︎ You MUST disclose if your pet has seen a vet or exhibited sick behaviors for any condition resulting in medical care or medication, or if they have experienced vomiting or diarrhea/soft stool in the LAST 7 DAYS *prior* to the drop off date for boarding, house sitting, or daycare services. **VACCINATIONS/MEDICAL TREATMENT** In order to ensure that all our pets are safe, I do require all dogs to be up to date on all vaccines/treatments including: Flea/Tick/heartworm Bordetella Rabies Parvo/Distemper I will not accept dogs that show signs of kennel cough. **FEEDING** If your dog has special feeding needs or prep, please make sure to communicate this in your request and please prep what you can ahead of time prior to your pet's stay. During feeding time, your dog will be fed in a crate or in separate areas of the apartment to prevent food aggression and upset stomachs caused by consuming foreign dog food.
