Long story made short I had traveled to Cali to pick up my new dog Fendi, unfortunately no airline is allowing dogs in cargo so I was told by two diff airlines due to COVID. So since we didn’t not reside in Cali we had to hire a pup transport company and a dog sitter. And that’s when I found Rover. I had to find a sitter for a week so that the transport company can drive down here to Miami, fl. Thanks to god I found these amazing people that took amazing care of my dog Took care of her as if she were one of their own. I am truly beyond grateful for everything you guys did for Fendi. “Adrienne and Mike were a great team in caring for Sadie, our 14 pound 7 year old cockapoo. Sadie is a bit timid and has only stayed with one previous caregiver. So a 16 day stay was a concern as Sadie is very attached to her two human parents. Adrienne and Mike helped prepare Sadie to know we would be coming back for her by offering two complimentary stay overs, 2 hours each, for Sadie to get used to them and their home and to know we would be coming back to pick her up. Sadie has always been hand fed and Adrienne had no problem in realizing that on her own and accomodating Sadie's special need. In interviewing different care givers we found that not all caregivers let you see the actual inside of the home where their pup will be staying. But this was no problem for Adrienne and Mike. We also liked that they were a 2 person team so if one of them came down ill, there would always be a back-up. We definately recommend this two person team to others. Thank you Adrienne and Mike !”

About: Over the past two years, I’ve been the proud pet parent of my rescue cat, Duckie, a beautiful York Chocolate cat. Bringing Duckie home taught me so much about building trust, understanding cat behavior, and creating a safe, loving environment where a cat can truly thrive. Every day, I care for all of Duckie’s needs, including feeding her, keeping fresh water available, cleaning and maintaining her litter box, brushing her coat when needed, monitoring her overall health, and making sure she gets plenty of enrichment through play and affection. I’ve learned to recognize her body language and respect her boundaries while also knowing when she’s looking for attention, cuddles, or playtime. As a rescue cat, Duckie has reminded me that every cat has a unique personality and adjusts at their own pace. Whether a cat is outgoing, shy, energetic, or prefers a quiet companion, I understand the importance of meeting them where they are and following their routine. In addition to caring for Duckie, I’ve also house sat for friends with cats, making sure they stayed happy and comfortable in their own homes while their owners were away. About: I raised my 2 mini schnauzers from puppyhood through their twilight years and loved every second of it. We made many other dog friends along the way, including the occasional sleepover. I work remotely from home, so it’s easy for me to adapt to whatever schedule your dog is used to! I travel for 2-3 weeks in the year around (but typically not during) holidays. My apartment complex is gated with great walking areas for the community’s many pets. A public park is just next door with hiking trails for higher energy pups. I also have extra beds, crates, leashes, bowls, and toys if you forget yours or prefer not to haul them around.

About: What’s the most important thing all dog owners want to know before entrusting their dogs to a stranger? Well first of all I’m from Jersey. I’ll play with your dog, make sure they’re happy, take them on a walk, not lose them, and feed them only what you tell me to feed them. No human food, I promise. Unless of course that’s in your list of food to give them. Of course hydrate them as well. I know the do’s and don’ts of a dog’s diet since I have 2 of my own. I’ve also been fostering dogs on and off for the past 3 years. I am known to be reliable and responsible, so I can assure you that you can rest easy with leaving your dog(s) in my care. Or if you have a cat, I also get along super well with them since I also have 2 of my own! I work from home so I do have some flexibility or if you need eyes on your little one for long hours I will also be able to do that. I do have 2 cats so I have pet gates up to separate my cats from any dogs. The dogs get free roaming of the living room which tends to be enough for my two dogs plus any friends they’ve had over. Routine in my home is key. At your home, I’ll stick to your routine and respect your house rules. Whatever you require, it will be respected.
