About: Last year I said goodbye to my 17 year-old dog Max, just a few months after my cat Scotty passed away suddenly from kidney disease. Thankfully, Scotty's sister Star is still with me and thriving, but I really miss being around and caring for other animals. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and the gentle care they require. I'm also very familiar with younger dogs of all sizes. And I've fostered a lot of cats - mainly kittens - which is how Star and Scotty originally came into my life. Apollo had such a great time with Margaret! He opened up to her right away, which immediately made me feel comfortable leaving him with her. It was especially hot today, so I really appreciated that she has an amazing shaded backyard where Apollo could relax and enjoy time with the other pups. You can tell Margaret has a lot of experience with dogs, and she was wonderful about communicating and keeping me updated. I felt completely at ease knowing Apollo was in such good hands. Our dachshund Franklin has major anxiety and attachment issues, so I have always worried about leaving him with a dog sitter that he doesn’t know.
