I work from home and have my kids (8 and 11) 50% of the time. This allows me plenty of time to love and care for boarding animals. I’m very active and love hiking, biking and running. Happy to have pets join too!

I have a fenced and gated street to street property in Silverlake. Also a small SUV to take pets on hiking and walking adventures if desired! I have 2 parrots that stay in their own room (& have limited or no access to pets boarding just depending on the animals).

Let me know if your pets are sensitive or triggered by bird sounds! Although the parrots are in a separate room, you can hear them from the living room. I unfortunately do not take pets with a history of aggression or biting. I am not a trainer and the risk to both parties is not worth it for me especially with young children.
A typical day
I get up pretty early and usually take a walk or run in the neighborhood and grab some coffee before settling into home office to work! Happy to take breaks for a dog’s hike, long walk & there will be plenty of time for cuddles. If my kids are with me, they will spoil your pet endlessly. Think spa day, massage, treats (if allowed), a new toy! They love having new animals in the house.

Hi! I’m Teresa. I’m 46 and a reliable, responsible work from home lawyer with plenty of love to spoil your pets while you’re away. While going thru a separation, I spent a bunch of time pet sitting in other peoples’ homes (& have a profile with 5* reviews) via Trusted Housesitter. I cared for both dogs and cats (& have 2 parrots of my own) and I absolutely loved it. Now that the ex and I have separate places, I can finally host animals in my own home with gated back and front yard in Silverlake! Before becoming a lawyer, I was a RN for 12 years so I am very comfortable giving meds and handling other medical issues. I love coffee, a good book, writing jokes and walking around new cities to people watch and eat all the food. Happy to hike or run with your dogs if desired or just curl up on the couch, cuddle them and watch bad reality tv!
