About: My goal is to create an environment and relationship that makes your life easier and your pup happier. I’m loving, gentle, and patient with all pup ages! I’m available any day of the week. I just ask for a 2 day notice for booking and for canceling. For walks, preferably early morning or evenings (especially in hot days. I want your pup to enjoy their walk, and not be uncomfortable or in pain from the hot pavement) I appreciate your consideration! I adapt to what your puppy is used to. My goal is not to brake their routine. I would like to jump in where you need me to assist and maintain the routine you approve and would like to maintain. I’m here to help you both!
About: I’ve always loved animals since I was little :) Dogs, cats, chickens, quails, guinea pigs, and more! I’ve also volunteered at dog and cat shelters, which has really helped me understand different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m a calm, attentive, and gentle sitter who really enjoys spending time with animals. I pay close attention to little things, stick to each pet’s usual routine, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to provide cuddles, walks, playtime, or simply quiet companionship—whatever suits your pet best. I also send regular photo updates and stay in touch throughout the day for your peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely loving toward animals, I’d be happy to care for your pet 🤍 Feel free to reach out with any questions! I have plenty of time throughout the day to check in on pets, play with them, keep them company, and follow their usual routines. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to give each pet the attention and calm presence they need :) I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes, where pets feel most comfortable and secure. Staying in their familiar environment helps reduce stress and allows me to follow their normal routines as closely as possible. I’m a calm, respectful, and home-oriented person. I treat every home with care and attention, keep spaces clean and organized, and follow all house instructions closely. Whether it’s locking doors, respecting quiet hours, or handling keys and security systems responsibly, I take home safety seriously. I’m comfortable staying overnight when needed and make sure pets are never left feeling alone or unsettled. My goal is to create a steady, peaceful presence — someone your pet can trust and relax around, and someone you can feel confident welcoming into your home.
“Harvey loved, Kristine. He got a great long walk. Kristine was also wonderfully accommodating as we had to deal with a power outage in our home and reschedule. Harvey has been trying to adapt to the new home and Kristine helped! Thank you!!”

“Meredith has been a great help, she and her daughter are very kind and friendly and Louie was always happy to see her. She also gave me very useful care tips. Would definitely re-book and I highly recommend Meredith to others.”

“Peggy was great! Super easy going and mellow. She was easy to communicate with and coordinate schedules. And was a good match for my slightly timid dog. Highly recommend!”

About: I have owned dogs my whole life and have volunteered at humane societies for a few years mainly as a dog kennel ambassador. I also have experience with bigger dogs, puppies, and senior dogs! In fact I have had a yorkie since he was a pup and a childhood dog of 15 years! I have taken care of bigger breeds such as husky/wolf mixes and very small dogs such as chihuahuas. Not only that I also have a cat! Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I am a college student and have most Fridays, and weekends off so I’m usually free all day. From Monday to Thursday I have classes but am available mornings, late afternoons by appointment. I only do drop-ins and walks but when I am in someone else’s home I make it a priority to be respectful of your space and make sure nothing is moved around or messed around with.
About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I got my first dog when I was in elementary school, and since he was a puppy, I've been responsible for feeding him, taking him on walks, playing with him, and making sure he's happy and well cared for. Even today, I still help care for him. I also regularly care for a sweet pug named Cookie, who stays with me anywhere from a week to a couple of weeks at a time. During her stays, I make sure she gets plenty of walks, playtime, affection, and follows her normal feeding routine so she feels comfortable and at home. In addition to smaller dogs, I have experience with large breeds as well. My newest fur baby is a German Shepherd, so I'm comfortable handling bigger, more energetic dogs and making sure they get the exercise and attention they need. I also have experience caring for adult cats and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. Whether your pet loves to play or prefers a calm, quiet environment, I'm happy to adapt to their needs. I treat every pet like they're my own, and I know how important it is to leave them with someone you can trust. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for while you're away, and to give you peace of mind through reliable, attentive care. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have lots of time to look after your pets! As of now I am on summer break, and starting the fall quarter I will have online part time school, I have a backyard that is fully stone walls with gate to protect the animals! I have fur babies of my own, but they each have their own crates that they are able to sleep in, or I have room to set up a crate for your fur baby as well:)!

“Steve is absolutely wonderful!! Five stars. My doggies love him, they look forward to seeing him every time. He is super fun, caring, attentive and eager to help. I highly recommend my man Steve!”

About: I have been working as a veterinary assistant for 18 years and have done pet sitting and dog walking for 16 years. I have loved animals since i was a little girl. I can schedule walks for earlier in the morning or when the sun is going down. Since it's to hot to go during the day I have a fenced in back yard. I can't board animals at my house. But i can take animals on walks, drop ins and over nights depending on where the place is.
“Elizabeth is so communicative and very understanding of Gremi’s needs as a tripod. I also appreciate how she made adjustments to make Gremi feel comfortable on her first walk with her. Gremi had a great time!”

“Jana does such a great job with Avenger. She spends great time with him, leaves detailed info on how things went and sends lots of pictures. Most of all, when we get home we know he was well taken care of because he’s so happy. Thanks again, Jana!”

“Sean is absolutely fantastic with my two borzois, Spartacus and Diego! From the very first walk, he showed a calm confidence and genuine care that immediately put both dogs—and me—at ease. Borzois can be a bit particular, but Sean handles them with patience, professionalism, and a great sense of humor. He’s always punctual, communicative, and goes above and beyond to make sure the boys get a full, enriching walk every time. I’ve noticed how excited they get when he arrives, which says it all. It’s such a relief knowing they’re in such good hands. Highly recommend Sean to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker!”

I have a black Labrador mix named Chloe and a tuxedo kitty named Mici 🐾 I would be happy to provide loving care for your furry family member! 💗 I’m currently fully available for the summer while I’m in town, but will have limited weekend availability starting mid August for the upcoming fall semester. About: I've had large breed dogs my entire life and volunteer regularly at shelters to help.socialize the animals to be more adoptable. My last rottie had leukemia and I cared for her throughout chemotherapy so have experience with many related health challenges. I recently exited my corporate career after 15 years of travel and computer work. I'm taking a break to recalibrate and spend more time outdoors being active. I have a fenced back yard and several crates that can be used if needed. My dog is very friendly and loves new friends to play with anyone- human or animal- that is open to play.
About: I’ve been petsitting for 12+ years and fostering animals for 8+ years! I have taken care of many dogs under age 1 as well as senior dogs. I also have experience fostering kittens (as young as 2 weeks old) and cats! I am fluent in both Korean and English! Also, one of my family members is a veterinary assistant :) My home is condominium, and the floor is hardwood. I have a small patio area inside my house. I also have a small grass area for the residents — it’s located outside my house but inside the condominium complex. Pets are always welcome to sleep on bed or relax on our furniture! Usually, we take the pets out for potty breaks 4 times a day—first one in the morning, second one around noon, third one in the afternoon, and last one at night, right before bed. We also use the small patio area for potties if they need to potty more frequently. I take them on walks in the afternoon! For cats, I clean the litter box as soon as I see that they used it. I also have plenty of toys, treats, and cardboard scratchers! My parents and I will be available to take care of your pets full-time! My family (5) is also available to take care of the pets most of the time! If you do not want your pet/pets to interact with other pets, I can separate them upstairs and downstairs. At least one person will be available upstairs and downstairs so the pets are not left alone! Our condominium complex has two doors/gates (front and back) . I look forward to sitting your pets!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
