About: I am a very patient pet lover with 10+ years experience working with dogs! I have been pet sitting for around 5 years now through word of mouth and am excited to build a bigger community on Rover. I am comfortable and experienced being around all dogs ranging from 5lbs to over 100lbs, I am willing and able to adapt to any of your pets needs. This includes (but is not limited to) simple tasks such as feeding, lots of playing, walking, exercising, following specific schedules etc. but also includes administering medicine, simple training and any kind of clean up! (I’ve seen it all!) At the end of the day I really look forward to bringing you and your pet as much comfort as possible while you’re apart:) I have 2 dogs of my own and worked with dogs that deal with anxiety and some reactive behaviors so I feel well prepared to be there for all babies. About: I love animals; always have! I used to come home from school and do homework in front of Animal Planet and when it wasn't doing that I was taking care of my neighbor's pets. They had cats, dogs and horses and I looked forward to it every time. My responsibilities included walking, playing, feeding and even reading to them (which I have on good authority was very adorable). About: I've had experience caring for my own dogs and pet-sitting for friends, neighbors, and families! I am very patient with animals with behavioral issues, my own dog has anxiety and I understand that it takes time to build trust with new people. I'm always happy to play, give lots of love and special attention. I am staying in California for the summer between semesters, so my schedule is completely open for caring for pets. I have an apartment, but it's well kept and has plenty of space for animals to play around. There is also a grassy area outside for dogs to play. With that being said, I currently have plenty of availability throughout the week. I'm available 8am - 8pm during weekdays and Saturdays, and on Sundays I'm available after 2pm. During times that I am working, though, I typically come early in the morning (or wake up early if I'm already at a client's house), care for the pet(s), go to work, and then come back either during lunch time or at the end of my shift. It all honestly depends on the pets and their needs, but I am completely flexible! When I go to a client's home, I take extra care to respect their property and only go into delegated areas. My job is to care for the pet and maintain the homeowner's trust, so if a mess is made or an accident happens, I go the extra mile to inform the client immediately and take care of it as soon as possible. I want to make sure your pet feels loved and safe, especially within their own home. Even more so, I want the client to feel at ease, knowing that both their property and beloved pet are being cared for!
