About: Hi! I’m KeLeigh, and I’m passionate about providing loving, dependable care for both people and pets. After years of working in caregiving and pet care, I’ve had the privilege of caring for many wonderful animals and building lasting relationships with their families. My two dogs, Abby (a 5-year-old Brittany Spaniel-Lab mix) and Burrow (a 12-year-old Border Collie-Lab mix), are friendly, playful, and love making new friends. Whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, walks, or simply relaxing together, they help create a welcoming environment for visiting pets. I am dedicated to providing every pet in my care with a safe, loving, and enriching experience—treating them as if they were part of my own family. In addition to pet care, I have been providing professional caregiving services since 2021. Through my work caring for others, I have developed strong skills in patience, attentiveness, reliability, communication, and individualized care. I bring those same qualities to every pet I care for, ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, companionship, and supervision they deserve. For in-home visits, I help pets remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings while maintaining their normal routine. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, and any special care requirements. Whether it’s a quick drop-in visit or extended care, I provide regular updates and communication so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. This service is especially beneficial for pets who experience anxiety in new environments or simply do best staying in the comfort of their own home. As a self-employed professional working from home, I have the flexibility to integrate pet care seamlessly into my daily routine. This allows me to dedicate the time and attention necessary to ensure that each pet receives personalized care and supervision throughout the day. My schedule enables me to cater to the specific needs of your pet, whether it’s for walks, playtime, or providing comfort while you’re away. Being at home allows me to maintain a consistent presence, ensuring your pet feels secure and well-cared for in a safe, nurturing environment. Caring for Pets in Your Home: For in-home visits, we ensure your pet remains comfortable in their familiar surroundings while receiving the same level of care. We follow your instructions closely to maintain your pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care requirements. Whether it’s a brief drop-in or an extended stay, we provide consistent updates and communication so you can feel assured your pet is well cared for. This service is ideal for pets who may experience anxiety in new environments or for those who do better in their own home.
“It was our first time ever leaving our 2-year-old Yorkie, Harlow Jean, with a pet sitter, so you can imagine how nervous we were. My husband and I treat her like our baby, and we’re extremely particular about her care. We have strict meal schedules, detailed safety routines, and are especially careful about keeping her secure inside the house since there are multiple doors leading outside. I left Tami what felt like a small book instead of a simple instruction sheet, and I was honestly a little embarrassed. I remember thinking that if someone handed me that list in an unfamiliar house, I’d probably be overwhelmed. But not Tami. She followed every single instruction perfectly. Tami is a true professional who genuinely cares about animals. She respected our home, made the entire experience completely stress free, and sent us daily updates and adorable photos of Harlow Jean, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We couldn’t be happier that we found her, and she will be the only person we trust with Harlow Jean from now on. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pet with the same love, attention, and dedication that you do, look no further. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but Tami absolutely deserves this one. Thank you, Tami !”

“Graham was fantastic. Very personable, great with our pup, Midna, and he's an excellent communicator. He showed up early to meet us and Midna immediately loved him. We felt very comfortable trusting him with our dog and our home. We will happily use Graham again, and highly recommend him to anyone who wants someone trustworthy and kind to watch their pup. (Thanks Graham!)”

“We have had Katherine stay at our home with our doodle Freddie prior to this visit - she stayed for nearly 1 week with him and they bonded and grew even closer during that time. We appreciate her attentiveness and communication and will be working with her again in the future!”

“Yessica is absolutely amazing with our dogs. She was incredibly kind, reliable and made us feel completely at ease leaving them with her. She kept us updated, took great care of everything and you can tell she genuinely loves animals. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will 100% be booking her again. Highly recommend Yessica to anyone looking for someone they can genuinely trust with their pets and home!”

About: I love animals; always have! I used to come home from school and do homework in front of Animal Planet and when it wasn't doing that I was taking care of my neighbor's pets. Cats, dogs and horses and I looked forward to it every time. My responsibilities included walking, playing, feeding and even reading to them (which I have on good authority was very adorable). I'm very excited to take care of your fur babies for you! Fear Free Leader in Animal Wellbeing graduate. *Ask me about Active & Running services* **Ask me about Pet Portraiture Add-ons** I am currently taking online classes and looking forward to being with animals when I can part time. I am looking forward to meeting new pets and taking care of them in between bouts of homework and studying. I am available for most services! Including drop-in check-ins, letting dogs out to do their business or go on walks or play with your pets. I'm also available to pet-sit and keep them company while they relax in their space. After meeting your pets and learning their specific and unique needs, likes or dislikes, I am available to feed, walk, play most days.
“Cat was wonderful! Our pets loved her from the moment she came for the meet and greet. She took great care of them while we were gone and provided daily updates. Cat is very trustworthy, punctual, and we plan on booking her again for the next time we travel. Highly recommend hiring Cat to take care of your fur babies!”

“My partner and I loved having Lexy over to house sit for our two cats for the first time! She was so communicative, providing us frequent text updates and pictures of the cats while we were away for the weekend that really set our minds at ease. She was very attentive in the way she monitored the cats’ behavior and eating patterns. This is certainly not the first time we’ll have her over to watch the cats while we’re away.”

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life. I have experience with rescues. I'm an active sitter near hiking trails. Last minute availability is possible. I'm currently working from home part-time making pet care fit easily into my days. If you need daily drop-ins for feeding, walking, running or medications, or ball play, we can set up a custom plan for your fur babies. I treat every pet as if it's my own. If your pet has special needs, we can discuss how best I can make them feel at ease. I'm here to help and open to handling specific needs. I've been there myself with my own babies.
“Kristine was absolutely incredible with our large dogs. They loved every minute with her and she was so incredibly patient and loving towards them. I will feel so incredibly safe leaving town the next time we get to book her.”

“Kimberly did a great job. She had to manage two large dogs over three days. The house and the pups were well cared for. I asked Kimberly to abide by some fairly strict rules with the dogs in order to manage their high-energy and potential anxiety and she did an excellent job. Kimberly have our pups multiple daily walks, administered pet medication, and maintained the security of the house. I strongly recommend Kimberly for your pet/house sitting needs.”

“Bridgette was great! This was our first time using her services and we were thrilled with her attention to detail and she far exceeded our expectations. Our fur babies and home were well cared for and everyone was happy. Definitely book Brigette with no hesitation, she is awesome! 🤩”

About: I’ve spent nearly my whole life around animals, and I genuinely can’t imagine it any other way. Almost 30 years working with horses — training, rehabbing, and caring for them — taught me patience, how to read an animal’s body language, and how to stay calm when they’re not. That instinct carries straight over to dogs, cats, and just about anyone with fur. When your pet is with me, they’re not an obligation on a checklist. They’re company. I’ll keep their routine steady, give them the attention and exercise they need, and send you updates so you’re never wondering how they’re doing. Whether it’s an anxious rescue who needs a gentle hand or a high-energy goofball who needs a real walk, I’ve got them. Acton/Santa Clarita area. Reach out and tell me about your crew — I’d love to meet them. I work from home, so pets aren’t squeezed into the margins of my day — they’re part of it. My schedule is flexible, which means I can match your pet’s routine instead of forcing them into mine: morning walks, midday check-ins, feeding times, all of it stays consistent with what they’re used to. Between my own animals and my work with horses, caring for animals is already woven into every day. Adding your pet to that rhythm isn’t a stretch — it’s just one more member of the crew. I’m around throughout the day to keep an eye on things, so your pet gets steady attention rather than a quick drop-in and gone. In your home, my first priority is keeping your pet’s world exactly as they know it — same feeding spots, same walk routes, same routine. I don’t rearrange things or cut corners. I make sure doors, gates, and yards are secure before anything else, because a lot of trouble starts with a gate that didn’t latch. I keep your keys and access details private and treat your home with the same respect I’d want for mine. With animals themselves, decades of reading horses taught me to watch body language closely — I can tell when a pet is anxious, overstimulated, or not feeling right, and I adjust instead of pushing. New environments and unfamiliar dogs get introduced slowly and on the pet’s terms. I keep an eye on hazards most people miss: food left out, toxic plants, an open trash can, a fence gap. You’ll hear from me with updates and photos so you always know your pet is safe and settled. If something seems off health-wise, I’ll reach out right away rather than wait — and I’ll always have your vet’s info on hand just in case.
About: I love all animals even the initially intimidating ones. I know how to read animals signals and access their comfort level. I give each pet the time it needs to get comfortable so that I can establish a relationship of trust. I'm nether a cat person or a dog person or a tortoise person for that matter, I love all pets equally. I've taken care of virtually every kind of house, pet (including my aunt's chinchilla) thank you got something I haven't seen before? Bring it on. I'm ready for it all. I don't consider taking care of pets to be at shore or work. I take care of them because they take care of me. They keep me calm and grounded, even when things are at their most chaotic. First things first, I treat each animal as if it were my own. I make sure to give each pet the attention it deserves. Upon first introduction and the patients to let it get comfortable when needed. From there I'm happy to take care of any special requests you might require for your pet.
About: I've been caring for pets for years through my own fur babies (6 year English Bull Dog named Maya and previously a 10 year old boxer named Sugar), as well as helping my friends and family with their fur babies while they're away or helping with walks. I understand how important it is to have someone dependable you can trust to care for pet, and I treat every fur baby with all the love as if they were my own. I'm comfortable and confident with feeding, walks, playtime, administering basic medications if needed, and giving your fur baby plenty of love, attention, and updates while you're away. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, love, happy, and that you have the peace of mind knowing that they're in great hands while you're away. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend plenty of times with the pets I'm caring for. While I may occasionally leave for errands or appointments, I have the flexibility to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of love and attention throughout the day. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, preferences, and any special instructions you might have to help them feel comfortable while you're away. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both the pets and home with the same respect and care I would expect for my own. My goal is to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible and create a calm, safe environment where they can feel secure and happy until your return.

Yessica is absolutely amazing with our dogs. She was incredibly kind, reliable and made us feel completely at ease leaving them with her. She kept us updated, took great care of everything and you can tell she genuinely loves animals. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will 100% be booking her again. Highly recommend Yessica to anyone looking for someone they can genuinely trust with their pets and home!

Erin was great. She was very communicative before and during the sit. She took great care of our two dogs and stayed with them throughout the day. She sent many photos and videos and provided us with updates throughout the day. Our dogs ended up acting up towards the end of her stay and she let us know and handled the situation. We really appreciate her taking care of our dogs. We would welcome her back any time and would highly recommend her.

I highly recommend Mary!!! She was the best pet sitter and I will definitely use her again in the future! My neighbors would watch my animals but they were not available so I needed to find someone fast. I’ve used ROVER in the past and found Mary Sol’s profile. I sent her a message and She responded quickly and we made plans to meet up. She showed up on time and was so pleasant. I immediately felt comfortable because she was so sweet and warm. I decided to hire her for a week to care for my animals in my home. She took AMAZING care of my 14 year old dog and 2 cats while I was on vacation for a week. She provided detailed updates and went above and beyond to keep my animals happy and healthy and well cared for while I was gone! When I came home my house was in meticulous condition. She removed garbage daily, kept litter boxes super clean, water filters for fountains were changed and water was clean, no issues at all!!! Animals were all in great condition and well maintained for the week I was gone. She communicated well and always kept me updated!!! She’s amazing. I will used her in the future if she’s available. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Megan was so great with our dog. It was the first time she stayed with him and he was not feeling good but she handled it so well. And she was great at communicating with us. We were so grateful she was there and we will definitely reach out to her again!

Caleb was great! I had to leave early Friday and he was going to be at the house around 2. Since I left at 6 that morning he went ahead and got there a couple hours early to get the dogs out sooner with them being inside for 6+ hours. He kept me updated with messages, photos, and videos throughout his stay. I will definitely be booking with Caleb on my next trip!

Allisa is the best ever pet sitter you'll ever find! Our dog did zoomies just because she was so excited to see Allisa! I NEVER have any concerns at all when Allisa cares for Zoey, and Zoey has a complicated food and medication routine. You'll be delighted with her. And she's a great photographer as well. In fact, my cell phone wallpaper is a photo Allisa took!
Caroline did an amazing job! She was faced with unexpected challenges of dealing with our dog (who is afraid of water, even in the form of lawn sprinklers) during a week of drenching rain! And Zoey also has some special needs in terms of eating five times daily and getting medication twice daily. Caroline was exceptional in following Zoey's schedule. Also, she gave us regular updates (and sent some amazing photos). We'd highly recommend Caroline!
Syndee was incredible! I felt zero worries while in another country because Syndee took that stress me. Thank you Syndee for loving on my babies while we were on holiday! She went above and beyond and when cleaned the house and washed the sheets so we came home to a spotless home from a long day of travel! We appreciate you Sydnee! Great job and definitely will be rebooking with Sydnee in our future travel plans!

Flannery was great with our geriatric ECENTRIC furkids. They are old and needy. She did great taking care of each of their needs. Send lots of pictures and videos each day for check-ins. Made it much easier to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing they were all doing so well.

Rosemary is truly an exceptional dog sitter. From the start she was kind, considerate and incredibly accommodating, even stepping in on short notice which was such a lifesaver. She has a warm, loving presence and gave my pup so much care and attention. Her great attention to detail and thoughtful communication, with regular updates and adorable pictures, gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. When I returned from my weekend trip, my dog was honestly disappointed to see me instead of Rosemary, which says it all. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate and attentive sitter.

The average cost for House Sitting in Stevenson Ranch on Rover is $69.93 per night (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of September 2026, there are 10,121 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Stevenson Ranch. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Stevenson Ranch walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Stevenson Ranch maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Stevenson Ranch choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Stevenson Ranch. On Rover:

- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
