“The only difficult part of writing this review is finding enough good things to say about Elena. Every interaction, from my first communication to picking up Puck after his stay, conveyed both a love of animals and professionalism. We met first in a local park for a meet and greet, where Elena and I chatted and her daughter played with Puck. I felt really comfortable with Elena’s easy manner and the questions she asked to ensure that Puck would be happy with them. I left in confidence when I dropped Puck off, and the photos she sent made it clear that Puck was happy and well cared for. Her daughter makes for a wonderful added bonus; Elena told me when I picked him up that her daughter made a fort for them, and it was clear in the pics that Puck received lots of play time with his favorite toys. When I picked up Puck after his stay, he was of course happy to see me, but not overcome with nervousness or anxiety. I could see that he felt safe and loved in Elena’s home. When I arrived home, he slipped right back into normal routines without needing decompression time. Thank you, Elena, for providing Puck with a warm and loving home-away-from-home.”

About: I have had dogs since my college years. I love animals. I treat them as part of family. Although I no longer have my pup, She was spoiled! She was bathed, fed, walked and has all her needs met. I would take her hiking with me sometimes and she would love it. I really strive to provide a safe and comfortable experience for each pet in my care. About: I would love to meet and take care of your pup or kitty! I grew up with several dogs and cats in my house and have always been a huge animal advocate. I’ve been helping to take care of them myself for the past 14-17 years, and I have a cat and dog of my own currently. I love hanging out with dogs, taking them on walks or fun adventures, and snuggling with them in the mornings and at night. If they like to keep to themselves in their own home, I’m also happy to give them their space!

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life. I have experience with rescues. I'm an active sitter near hiking trails. Last minute availability is possible. I'm currently working from home part-time making pet care fit easily into my days. If you need daily drop-ins for feeding, walking, running or medications, or ball play, we can set up a custom plan for your fur babies. I treat every pet as if it's my own. About: I've grown up with many MANY dogs and cats, and am as used to caring for them as I am brushing my teeth. Very secure in loving and handling smaller dogs, as having grown up with three boston terriers. However, I have been a dog walker for small, medium, and large puppers. I take about 3 walks a day outside on my own, and could walk with a dog for hours if needed. Not afraid to clean any animal excrements and get my hands dirty ;) I am almost always free! I cannot do night walks (past 6PM), but am still available for house/pet sitting. My weekends are also almost always free. Starting the end of August this might change, but for now I am basically all yours! As someone who used to have a very anxious dog, I am experienced in creating a stress free environment. For example, I can easily notice when a dog becomes stressed, such as hackles and drooling. I am conscious of the importance of leashing, the importance of constant awareness during walks, and the importance of continued affection. Ready to clean up after any animal, feed any pet on a specific schedule, and also clean a home free of fur. Bonus: I love to give dogs a good bath; Cats too if they let me :)

About: I’m a professional dog trainer with a ton of love and experience with all dogs, well over 1,000 different dogs trained, walked and cared for! I'll show an abundance of compassion for your dog as if they were my own pet. Having fun, playing, and safety will be high priorities on my list during their stay. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, energy levels, and overall well-being so I can quickly identify if something seems off. Safety is especially important to me during walks and outdoor adventures. After walks or hikes, I carefully check dogs for foxtails, burrs, and other debris that can become lodged in their paws, ears, or fur. I also follow all owner instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise restrictions, and special care needs.
