Right now I’m not doing boardings as my cat is very weary of new dogs/cats. However, I have a lot of experience house sitting for friends and family and have no problem doing drop in visits or sleeping at your house if that is preferred.

A typical day
I love to play and be silly with dogs who like that, but I’m also very comfortable simply hanging out and relaxing near them! I’m very adaptable to different personalities and energy levels.

Hello! My name is Jake :) I've been in love with dogs my whole life so getting the chance to work with them is definitely a dream come true. I've owned a couple dogs over the years and have been lucky enough to care for many others—whether it be pet sitting for friends and family or volunteering at my local animal shelter. Recently I had to say goodbye to my amazingly sweet and loving pit bull mix named Layla at the age of 16. We had such an amazing bond and she really taught me a lot about being the best dog dad I could be. Towards the end she definitely needed extra love and care as her arthritis made it difficult for her to walk, so I am very comfortable with older dogs or dogs that may need special care! I don’t have a dog at the moment but we do have a cat. I didn’t used to be much of a cat person but through friends’ cat and now my own, I definitely have a newfound love and appreciation for them! Whether it be a dog, cat, or both, I am your guy! I look forward to the opportunity to care for your little buddy :)

Jake did a great job with our crazy hyper dog and also our super cautious dog. He let our cautious dog come up to him whenever he wanted and sniff around him, allowing him to feel safe, without feeling the need to make the dog like him (which has been a huge mistake others have made with our dog in the past). So he is one of those people who has very good dog energy, if you have a timid/scared dog that needs someone like that around. He also kept our crazy dog busy with ball throwing the whole visit. We were really happy with him overall. :)
Jacob is the best!!! We left him PAGES of instructions for our 2 cats and 2 dogs with various diets + habits and he followed our instructions to a T! He is an animal lover himself, and it shows. Any worry I usually feel about leaving my animals in the care of someone else is nonexistent with Jacob, he takes such good care of all the animals! I have had him watch my animals at least 10 times, and he is the first person I call when I need someone. 10/10 recommend.
Jacob is THE best person to have to care for your pets. His heart is so full of love and compassion. He is trustworthy, responsible, prompt, and goes the extra mile. We have had friends walking their dogs who have observed Jacob caring for ours and comment on his loving care. He puts up with our cats’ “mistakes” and is not hesitant to clean up after them. Our house is always in the best condition upon our return. We can trust him completely. We highly recommend Jacob, a rare, valuable “find”!
To Whom it May concern. 25 words is not enough Tony even start talking about how well Jacob did taking care of our German shepherd and French bulldog. Both not only require emotional attention, but they also have medical needs that Jacob T was able to manage professionally and without fail. It’s a testament to his awesome character to dedicate himself to the caring and work required to maintain a household with pets while we’re out of town or working late.
