“The only difficult part of writing this review is finding enough good things to say about Elena. Every interaction, from my first communication to picking up Puck after his stay, conveyed both a love of animals and professionalism. We met first in a local park for a meet and greet, where Elena and I chatted and her daughter played with Puck. I felt really comfortable with Elena’s easy manner and the questions she asked to ensure that Puck would be happy with them. I left in confidence when I dropped Puck off, and the photos she sent made it clear that Puck was happy and well cared for. Her daughter makes for a wonderful added bonus; Elena told me when I picked him up that her daughter made a fort for them, and it was clear in the pics that Puck received lots of play time with his favorite toys. When I picked up Puck after his stay, he was of course happy to see me, but not overcome with nervousness or anxiety. I could see that he felt safe and loved in Elena’s home. When I arrived home, he slipped right back into normal routines without needing decompression time. Thank you, Elena, for providing Puck with a warm and loving home-away-from-home.”

Our previous boarding/sitting situation changed and was no longer viable right as we were coming up on a 2 week trip overseas, so we were scrambling at the last minute to try to find someone we felt we could trust to watch them. Susana really went the extra mile to help us feel comfortable, including doing a video chat with us, showing us her home and backyard, and telling us about her experience as a sitter. While we were away, she sent us pictures a couple of times per day and kept us updated on what the pups were up to and how they were doing. When they weren't eating a lot (which happens with these two when they are staying somewhere new) she offered up some suggestions. I really appreciated that she checked in with us before just doing something, because Luke has a sensitive digestive system and there are lots of things that can upset his stomach which is no fun for him or the humans who are taking care of him. She also offered to give them a bath right before we returned - and I cannot even say how much we appreciated that! They always want to cuddle with us for like two solid days after they come home from a long trip, and having them clean and smelling good makes that such a wonderful experience. The dogs seemed like they had a great time and lots of fun, and they were well taken care of. We could really tell the family loved having them stay. They will definitely be staying with Susana again on a future trip 🙂”

About: I was raised by two cat lovers, who brought me into a house with 2 cats already. I’ve been around cats almost constantly in my life, but adopted my first when was in high school, a hefty russian blue (said the vet). In all honesty she’s been incredibly easy to care for, so when I met my partner in college, I was a bit unprepared for his roommate’s fosters. They were emergency fosters, often barely able to eat wet food, some were sick and had the tiniest meows. I grew to find helping with the fosters was so gratifying, and watching tiny kittens grow into young cats was at times incredibly emotional. About: I’ve always loved animals and have been house sitting as well as animal sitting for 11 years I’ve watched groups as big as 6 and less as well my family at one pint had 2 cats 2 German Shepard’s and a multipoo now we have 2 terriers a multipoo and 1 Shepard. About: Hello! Dog dad of two frenchies here. I have taken care of dogs since I was 7. I am very familiar with brachiocephalic (short muzzled) dogs. But any type is welcome! I currently work from home 24/7 and will have plenty of time with your pup. My home is also a step away from the park so your pup will have a lot of exercise. I am available weekdays and weekends. I have a fenced yard to run and play and have two french bulldogs to keep them company. I am also a step away from a park for walking and exercise.

About: I’ve retired from my role as Director of Student Housing at CSU, Bakersfield. I’m an active CrossFit coach with lots of flexible time - and I love dogs! I’ve cared for the animals of loved ones for over 20 years. I’ve also helped care for difficult to handle dogs (seniors, aggressive large breeds, small ornery breeds) and loved every minute of it❤️. I had my Maltese/yorkie boy Yanni 20 years before he passed a few years ago. I’ve also assisted in training rescued, often aggressive bully breeds. Unfortunately, I am allergic to cats. So, I do not work with any cats or households that have a cat. I am a personal trainer and CrossFit coach for people over 50. I have a 17 year old daughter who loves all animals. I have flexibility, transportation, and time to give. We don’t have dogs of our own at this time. I have a fenced patio area, but I love to walk dogs. I am an attentive, responsible, loving caretaker who will happily take care of all your lovie’s need as you instruct. I can give medication and maintain any schedule or rules that you have at home. We don’t let dogs jump up on our furniture and we’ve found as long as they have a comfy spot they generally don’t protest.
About: I have been surrounded by animals since I was little. I love animals probably more then people at times and I will love your fur babies as if they were my own and take great care of them! I am wide open with availability during the day in case your pets need someone with them for most of the day or if they are fine being alone for certain amount of time. Currently not working full time . I live in an apartment so I won’t be offering to take in any pets as theirs a limit of how many can be staying here. At the moment.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 14 years old for neighbors, family, etc. I've always had several pups in my home at a time because they're my little babies. All of my dogs have been very well trained and follow directions extremely well! I'm currently a full time student but all my classes are scheduled for Tue/Thurs, and I work part time from home on my off days as a lash tech. I make my own schedule so I have PLENTY of free time to care for your pups! Because I am home all week for the most part I hang out with the dogs all day everyday so no need to worry about your fur baby getting lonely! We'll cuddle and watch tv. Regular potty breaks are taken, my two dogs are on a bathroom schedule, they go first thing in the morning, once or twice in the afternoon, and once before bed. Other pups that I have taken care of seem to catch on to our schedule very quickly and have no problems with it! If there is a time where I do need to leave to go do a grocery pick up or anything like that I let the dogs sleep on the couch while I'm gone, but I do have a crate present just in case I do need to put the pup up if they don't do well being left out of the crate with no supervision.

“The only difficult part of writing this review is finding enough good things to say about Elena. Every interaction, from my first communication to picking up Puck after his stay, conveyed both a love of animals and professionalism. We met first in a local park for a meet and greet, where Elena and I chatted and her daughter played with Puck. I felt really comfortable with Elena’s easy manner and the questions she asked to ensure that Puck would be happy with them. I left in confidence when I dropped Puck off, and the photos she sent made it clear that Puck was happy and well cared for. Her daughter makes for a wonderful added bonus; Elena told me when I picked him up that her daughter made a fort for them, and it was clear in the pics that Puck received lots of play time with his favorite toys. When I picked up Puck after his stay, he was of course happy to see me, but not overcome with nervousness or anxiety. I could see that he felt safe and loved in Elena’s home. When I arrived home, he slipped right back into normal routines without needing decompression time. Thank you, Elena, for providing Puck with a warm and loving home-away-from-home.”
