As a former volunteer with Southern California Labrador Rescue, I fostered and pulled dogs from shelters. I understand the unique needs — and big hearts — that often come with rescue dogs. I love both in-home boarding and house sitting. Staying in a client’s home gives me a peaceful change of scenery for my writing and allows dogs to stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I’m available to house sit throughout Southern California. I work from home full-time, Monday-Friday. On weekends, we typically garden, cook, and go for walks or hikes. Snuggles, backyard playtime, and lots of interaction time are a critical part of my day with your dog. I am a homeowner with a fenced yard in a gated neighborhood, a rescue mutt to keep your dog company, and a cat. My teenager is also a dog lover who spoils our Charlie. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and on the bed. I have dog beds, lots of water bowls, and time for pets. Our dog is a big hunk of love at 116 lbs, and I have always had big dogs. He LOVES having dog friends at the house.

I am really good with animals and understand behaviors and needs, I’ve taken care of friends pets many times but this is my first time using Rover. I’m currently working days that are not very long and can have time to spend with your pets, I will make it priority to take care of what they need. I respect what you’d want for your pet and don’t try to do anything unwanted. I’ll make sure they have fresh water and food, and anything they might need like medications or special treatment.
