About: I've cared for my family dog and rabbits for 8+ years. Neighbors and family have entrusted me with walking and caring for their pets while on trips. I'm currently house-sitting and looking for a job, so I am free to walk your pet anytime! I am happy to sparse out my time with walks and drop ins. I've recently watched a lovely 14-year-old cat throughout the day, with love, feeding, cuddles, and litter-box services. With taking care of dogs, I try to prioritize exercise, playful attention, and any extra care that they may need.

“I have a Great Pyrenees puppy, newly rescued off the L.A. streets a couple of weeks ago, with no I.D. or training at all. She is big and strong and I am not, so I needed the right dog-walker for the 50-pound dog, and picked Kayla K. because she raised her own 100-lb. Labrador from his puppyhood. I cannot praise Kayla enough! We started with a dog dancing around, getting tangled underfoot, and grabbing the leash like a toy. That behavior is nearly all gone now. Kayla is prompt, warm, friendly, outgoing, brought the right collar/leash combo. (now I've bought my own). My puppy gets excited when she hears Kayla's car in the driveway, and greets her joyously, and comes home nicely tired out and smiling. I took my dog yesterday to a professional dog trainer to get some help with crating and commands (like down and come), and he, a professional, was extremely impressed with my dog's calm heeling abilities that she had acquired, thanks to Kayla.”

About: I’m a college student in the Santa Barbara/Montecito area with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. I’m reliable, punctual, and active, so your friend will always get the attention and exercise they need. I have loved taking care of pets since I got a dog of my own in 2014. I have been trusted to care for friend’s pets and homes for quite some time. I communicate with owners well with photos and notes after every walk so you know your dog is safe and happy. I am eager to spend time with your furry friends this semester! I am a full time student at Westmont college. I’m available most afternoons, with lots of free time on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Pet care fits naturally into my routine- I love walk local neighborhoods and beaches in my free time and would love to have your pet come along! About: I received my MS degree in Human Canine Life Sciences last year. I have studied everything from genetics, domestication, breeding and legal regulations for canines, to the untapped potential of their abilities, the complexities of their emotional lives and the world of assisted therapy and facility dogs. I also recently completed a two-week workshop on training service animals. I have fostered and volunteered for 18 years and ran a dog walking business during college. I am a wealth of information about animals and a well of pure love that will never run dry. I can assess if there are health issues and make recommendations if you want to have that conversation. I also crock"pet" whole food dog food and can advise you on nutrition too, if that's of interest. I am highly sensitive to animals and their needs and moods and comfortability. I have two highly reactive large breeds and can handle dogs on leash in any situation (and won't put myself in one that I can not). I really want to be an advocate for all animals and be a positive part of your lives, whether it's a one time walk or everyday. I'm also here to talk about your pets with you and I will send from zero to a zillion photos and messages- whatever makes you feel good. I can promise you my full attention and so much crazy love for your mates. I am a writer and I also produce and act in the theatre. Most of the time, unless I am in rehearsal, I work from home with a highly flexible schedule. If I'm not home, I'm probably sneaking across the street (when my dawgos aren't looking) stealing snugs and offering the occasional greenie to the dogs on my block. They're sooooo nice, they kill me. I'm hugely attentive and I enjoy it all: a rambunctious playful dude, a senior who just wants belly rubs and snoogs, and the process of gaining the trust of a dog who may need some time and space at first. All of it. I pay attention. I'm with your pets to provide care, love and my presence, not just clock in and out. I feel a responsibility to the well-being of animals (and am honored to have that responsibility) because I have so much education and experience. The time I spend is quality and mindful and I'm truly grateful for it.

About: We've owned and loved our cockapoo until the end at 13 yo and we cared for her deeply. After she passed the house was so empty that we started fostering dogs. The first dog we got gave birth 4 hours after she arrived at our place and it was magical. We've also fostered a lot of kittens , baby rabbits and a guinea pig and we respect all animals and want to make them feel loved and secure We are a family with 4 kids (ages 8-15) that have grown up with taking care and respecting animals I am a local realtor and think the dog would be home alone max 2 hours a day We have a fenced in backyard that they always have access to. The front is not completely fenced in so they can only go in the front when they have their leash

About: I raised French Bulldogs and cared for three litters. I have experience in obedience dog training. I have cared for senior dogs who need extra care.
