About: I can't remember a time without a furry friend by my side. I literally came home from the hospital to a wagging tail—my family's dog was my first welcome committee, and that set the tone for my entire life. Over the years, I've been lucky enough to share my home with cats, and have owned two amazing dogs who kept me on my toes and filled every day with joy. Each pet has taught me something new about patience, unconditional love, and the unique personality that makes every animal special. My love for animals extends beyond my own four-legged family. I'm a proud supporter of the Santa Barbara Humane Society because I believe every animal deserves a loving home and compassionate care. Giving back to the animal community is something I'm deeply committed to. When you trust me with your pet, you're not just hiring someone who loves animals—you're connecting with someone who understands that pets are family. I recently said goodbye to my beloved companion, and while I'm not quite ready to welcome a new furry friend into my own home yet, caring for other people's pets has been incredibly meaningful. It keeps me connected to what I love most while giving me the chance to shower someone else's best friend with all the love and care they need. I live in a cozy casita with a secure, fenced patio area—perfect for outdoor playtime and fresh air. Since I work from home, I'm around throughout the day, which means your pet gets plenty of companionship and supervision. I'm also an active person who loves getting out, so regular walks to the park, beach, or around downtown are part of my routine. Your furry friend will get both the comfort of a home environment and the adventure of exploring Santa Barbara's best spots.

About: Hi, my name is Basilia, I also go by Juno. I have grown up around dogs all my life. I have experience house/dog sitting for my friends and neighbors in high-school, and even more experience taking care of my families big dogs. Further, I have some experience taking care of senior dogs, as my late Akita spent nearly 5 years on intensive medication. I love playing with dogs, taking them on walks, going to the dog park, and making life good in the safety of their own homes. I’m a student at Santa Barbara City College, but my flexible schedule allows me to spend plenty of time with your animals! I have at least 2-4 hours a day available to spend playing with, walking, or otherwise taking care of your babies. I prioritize pet safety in my care. I listen carefully to your rules about where the animal is/isn’t allowed to go, and can provide intensive support for your animals. I make sure to spend time building trust with the animal using treats or soothing methods upon meeting them, so that they feel safe and comfortable around me.

About: I've had dogs and many other pets my entire life- a boxer, pugs, Akita, Cairn, and a terrier mix with health issues, requiring extra care. I'm recently retired, so pet sitting will be my full time priority. I will devote all my care and attention to your pets, plants and garden. As an avid walker and hiker, I especially enjoy caring for dogs who love outdoor time and exercise. I also love exploring new communities and being in nature, so pet sitting is a great fit-it allows me to care for animals while experiencing new places in a meaningful way. About: I grew up with the responsibility of taking care of my family dogs growing up, so they have always been a big, loving part of my life. As an adult, I have lived with 3 different dogs and have helped raised two from pups. I am always the go-to dog sitter for all my friends when they are out of town since I live a very active lifestyle. I’m always out for walks on the town (or runs) if that is your dogs cup of tea. I absolutely adore doggos and would treat yours as if they are my own! I am a musician in town and work sporadically playing shows on the weekends. My schedule during the week is super flexible as I am home writing/working on music. I run/walk daily and can accommodate these to your pets schedule with ease. I live with my boyfriend in 3 bedroom apartment with a small yard out back. He is also a dog-lover and was as excited as me for signing up for this app! My landlords do not have an issue with there being dogs on property. We are a short walk to the Mission Park in Downtown Santa Barbara.

About: I’ve owned and cared for pets over the course of my entire life. Dogs are my love and bring such joy into my world. I have always had a natural born connection that cannot really be explained. It’s a magnetism and I’m drawn to them as much as they are to me :). I have a deep understanding and knowledge of a variety of health issues that dogs commonly have including bone, joint, heart, GI issues and dietary restrictions. I’ve experienced quite a bit over the course of my life personally caring for dogs with these issues including blindness & deafness, injuries. I’m mature enough and a mom myself to confidently say that your family would be treated as my own would. I have also cared for and owned a variety of birds, fish, reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs, chinchilla and then some! ;). Your animals would be loved as my own! Happy to do overnight care on somewhat short notice as well. Live in the Mission canyon area and have a gated yard with space for sun bathing and potty breaks/lizard chasing ;). Reliable car, DL, Insurance etc. - open to running errands, helping around the house (can discuss rate). My schedule is flexible and I’m available for boarding as well overnight with a little notice ahead of time. No problem with house sitting I have a gated yard and no pets. Nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors with dogs that enjoy each other. Local trails close by and the Riviera Theater close and other nice doggy friendly locations!

Safety and calm handling are my priorities—I keep leashes secure, monitor weather and hydration, and tidy up after outdoor fun. I can help with brushing and basic cues like sit/stay/leave-it. Your dog will get patient, reliable care and lots of affection every time. I work fully remote, so I’m home and attentive most of the day. I pop out once daily for the gym (about an hour) and plan visits around it. I’m available for morning, lunchtime, and evening walks/check-ins, plus overnight house sitting when needed. Weekends are open. Your pup’s meals, potty breaks, and playtime fit naturally into my routine, and I send quick updates so you always know how they’re doing. I follow your dog’s routine exactly—feeding, meds, crate, and house rules. I double-check doors and gates, keep dogs leashed unless you’ve approved a secure fenced area, and handle both strong pullers (Golden Retriever) and small dogs (Chiweenie) with calm, confident control. I monitor heat/cold, carry water, wipe paws, clean bowls, and tidy up before I leave. Home stays locked and secure, and you’ll get clear photo updates every visit.

I’ve watched multiple pets at the same time and can handle different needs, including giving medication or keeping up with high-energy animals. I’m a full-time working professional with a very flexible schedule that will allow me to drop in during the day or work from home if an all day shift is needed. Depending on my schedule I may be available for short notice requests and I don’t mind same day cancellation as long as there is no travel involved.
