About: I’ve owned and cared for pets over the course of my entire life. Dogs are my love and bring such joy into my world. I have always had a natural born connection that cannot really be explained. It’s a magnetism and I’m drawn to them as much as they are to me :). I have a deep understanding and knowledge of a variety of health issues that dogs commonly have including bone, joint, heart, GI issues and dietary restrictions. I’ve experienced quite a bit over the course of my life personally caring for dogs with these issues including blindness & deafness, injuries. I’m mature enough and a mom myself to confidently say that your family would be treated as my own would. I have also cared for and owned a variety of birds, fish, reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs, chinchilla and then some! ;). Your animals would be loved as my own! Happy to do overnight care on somewhat short notice as well. Live in the Mission canyon area and have a gated yard with space for sun bathing and potty breaks/lizard chasing ;). Reliable car, DL, Insurance etc. - open to running errands, helping around the house (can discuss rate). My schedule is flexible and I’m available for boarding as well overnight with a little notice ahead of time. No problem with house sitting I have a gated yard and no pets. Nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors with dogs that enjoy each other. Local trails close by and the Riviera Theater close and other nice doggy friendly locations!

About: I have had at least one dog as a family pet for my entire life. They have ranged from chihuahuas to german shepherds, and I have loved them all with my whole heart. My family got a cat when I was in high school, and I remember him being so much fun. My fiancé and I finally got our own little kitten a few weeks ago! Since I was little, I've been responsible for feeding my family pets, taking them out to go potty, and taking them for walks around the neighborhood. I have also helped my parents train our pets, and my proudest accomplishment was teaching my King Charles Spaniel/Pekinese, Juji, how to roll over! Some of my dogs have been super calm and loving to family and strangers alike, and some of them have had past traumas that make them scared and sometimes aggressive toward other dogs and people they don't know, so I am equipped to handle all sorts of pups with a range of personalities. Also, I may only be 5'3, but I am surprisingly strong, so leash-pullers aren't necessarily an issue(: As a cat owner, I recognize and respect that they’re NOT the same as dogs and will give them the time and space to warm up to me if they need that. I can't wait to meet your lovely pets! I’m currently working full-time, so I’m only available after 4:30pm on weekdays. I work from home one day per week (the day varies week to week), so I can be flexible on those days if you request me at least a week in advance. On weekends I’m usually pretty free and ready to go on walks or do drop-ins whenever! I will always be respectful of the pets in my clients’ homes, recognizing that it’s their space, not mine. If the client isn’t home when I first see the animal, I’ll let them come to me and won’t grab them or anything like that. I’ll stick to any schedules the client has laid out for me and will keep the place orderly and clean if it’s a longer stay.

CAITLIN is the BEST!! We have two dogs and two bunnies- the bunnies are chill, the dogs not so much. Caitlin however won them over instantly and they ADORE her. I feel so at ease and relaxed when Caitlin is caring for our fur family. She sends lots of pics and truly treats them as if they were her own. The house always looks immaculate when we return. Anela was wonderful with our two dogs. Detail oriented and thoughtful about all of their needs. She followed all of my instructions carefully which involved a lot of medications for one of my dogs. She left everything clean and tidy following a two night stay. She is on the younger side but very responsible. I highly recommend her.

We needed someone to care for our super senior 17 year old that needs multiple oral medications, to be carried up and down steps, and occasionally has accidents in the house and Madison was up for the task for all of it.
