“Leo was great with our 12 year old Pitbull, Stewart, while we were out of town for a few days. He came by beforehand to get acquainted, and was very respectful of Stewart's need for slower introductions and limited eye contact. We were sent regular updates and pictures of our sweet pup having a good time without us. Coming home to a calm, secure dog, and a clean house was a huge relief. We'd recommend Leo to anyone, and would certainly pick him again for our Rover sitter.”

About: I've had pets all my life, including right now. I'm comfortable around different breeds, sizes and temperaments. I have dog sat on the side for a family i worked for so I'm familiar managing routines, walks, feeding schedules and keeping pets happy while owners are away. Im especially comfortable with medication management for dogs and cats and can carefully administer medications if needed. I'm currently working Tues through Friday. Im also currently in college. I currently only have a morning Monday class and the rest are online When caring for pets in a clients home, I prioritize keeping their routine as normal as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. Making sure gates and doors are secure before letting pets outside is also very important.

About: As someone who grew up on a ranch and has never not had a dog since birth, I truly love animals. I have firsthand experience living with and caring for both dogs and cats, and I would love to extend that same care to your furbabies. Animals I’ve cared for include dogs and cats (of course), sheep, cows, fish, ducks, and tree frogs! My golden retriever (Bandit) and tabby cat (Tiger) say hi! I have a super flexible schedule! I’m currently working an events-based position every few weekends, but other than that all my time can be dedicated to caring for your furbabies like they’re one of my own! Even on weekends where I have an event to work, I still have plenty of free time, so never hesitate to reach out if you’re in need of pet care anytime. I’ve had 6 dogs in my lifetime and have pet-sitted many others, so I am used to caring for dogs of all personalities and rules. Indoor outdoor, crate trained or not, energetic and playful or relaxed and sleepy, I am adaptable and here to do what is best for you and your pet!

About: I’ve taken care of animals, of all kinds, my whole life. Growing up on a homestead has given me the passion as well as practical skill set to take care of animals. Newborn fosters, end of life care, administering medications or specific diets are no problem at all! I’m currently working part time, so I have an abundance of availability. Missing my furry babies back home, it would be my pleasure to care for your animals. I am fully prepared and have handled difficult and aggressive animals with ease in the past. I completely understand the fear of being away from your animals, I am always available via phone to ease any concerns.
“Debra did a great job watching our senior dog (who needs some extra care) at our home. She arrived on time, left the house clean, and was quick to respond to messages. Thank you!”

About: I have proudly cared for my own dog for the past 9 years as well as my family and friend’s dogs as well, giving me hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding, companionship, and overall pet care. I am a beginner to Rover, however I genuinely love animals and understand the importance of providing them with patience, attention, and a safe, caring environment. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make them feel comfortable, happy, and loved. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine, as I have cared for my own dog for the past 9 years. I work full time during the week, but I am available after 6PM on weekdays for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with pets. On weekends, I have open availability and can dedicate more time to longer walks, playtime, and personalized care. I enjoy spending time with animals and make it a priority to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routine as closely as possible to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I ensure they have fresh water, are fed according to instructions, receive plenty of attention, exercise, and bathroom breaks, and are always kept safe. I also provide updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they are away. My goal is to treat every pet with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own dog.
About: I've had dogs and many other pets my entire life- a boxer, pugs, Akita, Cairn, and a terrier mix with health issues, requiring extra care. I'm recently retired, so pet sitting will be my full time priority. I will devote all my care and attention to your pets, plants and garden. As an avid walker and hiker, I especially enjoy caring for dogs who love outdoor time and exercise. I also love exploring new communities and being in nature, so pet sitting is a great fit-it allows me to care for animals while experiencing new places in a meaningful way. I no longer have pets of my own and truly miss the companionship they bring, which makes caring for animals especially rewarding to me. Spending time with pets feels grounding and joyful, and I genuinely value creating a calm, reassuring presence for them while their people are away
“Chelsi was great. We we out for about 7 hours while she watched Sheilah. She sent us updates and pictures. Since we were out of town, it was reassuring to have such a competent, confident and friendly sitter . Nothing but praise for Chelsi. We will use her again if the situation arises.”

“Celin is lovely and was very loving to my dog. Our dog is older, has anxiety, and is really attached to us. She needs a sitter who will love her up in our absence. She was a perfect match for our dog!”

About: Although I don’t have any formal dog experience, I have grown up around dogs all my life. I have experience house/dog sitting for my friends and neighbors in high-school, and even more experience taking care of my families big dogs. Further, I have some experience taking care of senior dogs, as my late Akita spent nearly 5 years on intensive medication. I love playing with dogs, taking them on walks, going to the dog park, and making life good in the safety of their own homes. I’m a student at Santa Barbara City College, but my flexible schedule allows me to spend plenty of time with your animals! I have at least 2-4 hours a day available to spend playing with, walking, or otherwise taking care of your babies. I prioritize pet safety in my care. I listen carefully to your rules about where the animal is/isn’t allowed to go, and can provide intensive support for your animals. I make sure to spend time building trust with the animal using treats or soothing methods upon meeting them, so that they feel safe and comfortable around me.
“I highly recommend Mike to come to your home and take care of your pets. I was gone for two weeks and he made sure my dog was safe, healthy and happy. I will definately be asking Mike again in the future.”

“Cheryl was wonderful. This was our first time leaving our dog at home and trusting a house sitter to care for her. Cheryl exceeded our expectations. We felt at ease leaving Kozi in her care knowing she was well loved and cared for with frequent updates and photos! We can’t wait to have her back again!”

About: I’ve spent over 30 years caring for dogs and other animals, both personally and professionally. My approach is intuitive, compassionate, and grounded in a lifetime of hands-on experience. I run a local Montecito dog walking business, working with dogs of all breeds and specializing in big, athletic, and high-energy dogs. Pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle. As a Montecito-based business owner and endurance athlete, I spend much of my time on the trails and beaches — often with a dog by my side. My lifelong love of animals, combined with my endurance background, makes me especially well-suited for larger or high-energy breeds. I genuinely love bonding with dogs and take pride in being a calm, confident presence — a natural pack leader they can trust. I care for the dogs I walk as if they were my own — with plenty of love, attention, and respect for their individual needs. I’m known for giving dogs the exercise they truly crave, whether that’s an energizing trail walk, a beach romp, or a steady neighborhood outing. I stay fully present and engaged, making sure each walk is safe, stimulating, and tailored to the dog’s energy level and personality.
“Jessica was great with our large dog. We left for the Thanksgiving holiday and came back to a well taken care of pup and a clean home. I would 100% recommend Jessica to take care of your pets and home to everyone.”

“Grace was an amazing dog sitter for us during our stay in Santa Barbara. It was our first time using Rover so we were not super prepared on our dog sitting directions, but she went above and beyond in asking us specific questions on the care of our dog and made sure to follow through on all directions that we’ve provided. She regularly sends updates of our dog and was quick to respond whenever we text her. We are very lucky to have Grace as our dog sitter and would recommend any dog parents to use her for their beloved pet(s).”

About: I’ve been watching dogs since I’ve been 15 years old family members friends. I was always the one to be the go to whenever anyone needed a dog watching or when my parents would go out of town I would be the one to watch the dogs. I care about how they are treated and the experience that they have with someone else besides their owner. My schedule is mostly free. I am a college student who only attends college twice a week and with college ending I will have an open schedule. My pets in my home are cared for and loved I wouldn’t treat my clients dogs any other way than how I treat mine I love dogs overall I am a dog person

I would give Leo 10 stars if I could! I had been looking for a pet sitter who could give care and attention to a small older dog. Someone who would understand the elderly and could communicate with them. From the moment he first visited, Enzo loved him. Leo is very talented at knowing how to "connect" with a dog and is incredibly detailed. He followed everything I asked to the letter. I was gone for 7 days and was out of cell phone range, yet knew I could trust Leo completely to care for Enzo. I will definitely book with Leo again.

Hannah was very communicative, arrived promptly, and most of all, our two year old lab adored her! She made friends with him quickly (and he usually is a little hesitant with new people). Otis felt comfortable with her and it was obvious that she knows how to care for, and speak to, dogs. We will definitely use Hannah again! Otis has a new best friend and her name is Hannah!

Anela was wonderful with our two dogs. Detail oriented and thoughtful about all of their needs. She followed all of my instructions carefully which involved a lot of medications for one of my dogs. She left everything clean and tidy following a two night stay. She is on the younger side but very responsible. I highly recommend her.
Chelsi was great. We we out for about 7 hours while she watched Sheilah. She sent us updates and pictures. Since we were out of town, it was reassuring to have such a competent, confident and friendly sitter . Nothing but praise for Chelsi. We will use her again if the situation arises.

This was my first time hiring Bekah to sit for my dog and she did a great job. I came home to a relaxed border collie which speaks volumes about the care she received. Bekah is communitive, prompt, and respectful. And she left the house clean! I will definitely be using her again.

We needed someone to care for our super senior 17 year old that needs multiple oral medications, to be carried up and down steps, and occasionally has accidents in the house and Madison was up for the task for all of it. She took great care of our pup and our home while she stayed here. She was communicative, punctual and responsible. We will definitely use her again in the future.

This is our third time having the pleasure of Ann watching our cat Nico and we cannot say enough good things about her. Nico absolutely adores her and it is clear that she loves him too. She provides regular updates and keeps the house spotless. We always feel completely at ease knowing Nico and our home are in such good hands. I truly cannot recommend her enough. Ann is wonderful.

We're counting our blessings that we found Jordan! In addition to being wonderfully sweet, she was extremely attentive and communicative. Our two dogs are great.....and quirky! She handled them beautifully and checked in with us as needed to ask questions or to let us know her game plan. Our dogs absolutely loved her. And this was the first time my husband was completely relaxed on our getaway, knowing that they were in Jordan's capable and loving hands!
