“Julia was fantastic with Brix! He can be a little anxious around new people, but he warmed right up to her and seemed so happy and comfortable the whole weekend. We loved the updates and photos she sent throughout our trip—it was great knowing he was in such good hands. She also left our house spotless, which we really appreciated. Thanks so much Julia!!”

“Saidy goes above and beyond to take care of your pets, she is very professional and cares for all animals, she asks questions and makes sure your animals have their needs met whatever that may be. She also goes the extra mile while watching your home for extended stays and makes sure everything is in order. She was great with our dogs and even looked after our fish and lizard. Would definitely recommend you use her services”

About: As someone who grew up on a ranch and has never not had a dog since birth, I truly love animals. I have firsthand experience living with and caring for both dogs and cats, and I would love to extend that same care to your furbabies. Animals I’ve cared for include dogs and cats (of course), sheep, cows, fish, ducks, and tree frogs! My golden retriever (Bandit) and tabby cat (Tiger) say hi! I have a super flexible schedule! I’m currently working an events-based position every few weekends, but other than that all my time can be dedicated to caring for your furbabies like they’re one of my own! Even on weekends where I have an event to work, I still have plenty of free time, so never hesitate to reach out if you’re in need of pet care anytime. I’ve had 6 dogs in my lifetime and have pet-sitted many others, so I am used to caring for dogs of all personalities and rules. Indoor outdoor, crate trained or not, energetic and playful or relaxed and sleepy, I am adaptable and here to do what is best for you and your pet!
About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was 12, giving me years of hands‑on experience and a natural understanding of their needs. I offer more than basic sitting — from short runs to long walks in parks or neighborhoods, I tailor each outing to your dog’s energy and personality so they stay happy, healthy, and engaged. I work full‑time Monday through Friday from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm, but I’m remote on Mondays and Fridays — which means I can be with your pets throughout the day if needed. On my in‑office days, I’m still able to stop by easily before work, during my lunch break, and right after I’m off, giving you reliable coverage all week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent and stress‑free. I provide fresh food and water, give medications as needed, clean litter boxes or outdoor areas, and make sure they get plenty of attention, play, and comfort. I also tailor exercise to each pet, from short runs and long walks for dogs to interactive play sessions for cats.
About: I've always had animals and love them all. I've cared for dogs, cats, birds, fish, small animals, reptiles, and horses. My passions are rescue and bringing out the best in the scared and anxious pets I deal with in shelter and hospital. My other jobs are extremely flexible and allow me to make my own schedule, which means more availability to volunteer at shelters and care for your babies. I have 1 friendly small dog and 3 cats. My home is their sanctuary. We do frequent walks and trips to trails and beaches. I prefer to let the furbabies snuggle with us, but I have crates up to XL available if needed.
About: I can't remember a time without a furry friend by my side. I literally came home from the hospital to a wagging tail—my family's dog was my first welcome committee, and that set the tone for my entire life. Over the years, I've been lucky enough to share my home with cats, and have owned two amazing dogs who kept me on my toes and filled every day with joy. Each pet has taught me something new about patience, unconditional love, and the unique personality that makes every animal special. My love for animals extends beyond my own four-legged family. I'm a proud supporter of the Santa Barbara Humane Society because I believe every animal deserves a loving home and compassionate care. Giving back to the animal community is something I'm deeply committed to. When you trust me with your pet, you're not just hiring someone who loves animals—you're connecting with someone who understands that pets are family. I treat every dog, cat, or critter in my care with the same love and attention I would give my own, because that's what they deserve. As someone who's self-employed, I have the flexibility to give your pets the time and attention they deserve. I recently said goodbye to my beloved companion, and while I'm not quite ready to welcome a new furry friend into my own home yet, caring for other people's pets has been incredibly meaningful. It keeps me connected to what I love most while giving me the chance to shower someone else's best friend with all the love and care they need. I live in a cozy casita with a secure, fenced patio area—perfect for outdoor playtime and fresh air. Since I work from home, I'm around throughout the day, which means your pet gets plenty of companionship and supervision. I'm also an active person who loves getting out, so regular walks to the park, beach, or around downtown are part of my routine. Your furry friend will get both the comfort of a home environment and the adventure of exploring Santa Barbara's best spots.

“Chloe was wonderful with Artimus. She was super communicative the whole time, sent photos throughout, and clearly took great care of him with plenty of walks. She was on time, respectful of the house, and left everything clean. We look forward to booking with her again!”

“I would give Leo 10 stars if I could! I had been looking for a pet sitter who could give care and attention to a small older dog. Someone who would understand the elderly and could communicate with them. From the moment he first visited, Enzo loved him. Leo is very talented at knowing how to "connect" with a dog and is incredibly detailed. He followed everything I asked to the letter. I was gone for 7 days and was out of cell phone range, yet knew I could trust Leo completely to care for Enzo. I will definitely book with Leo again.”

“Celin is lovely and was very loving to my dog. Our dog is older, has anxiety, and is really attached to us. She needs a sitter who will love her up in our absence. She was a perfect match for our dog!”

About: I’ve taken care of a wide range of dogs of all sizes and ages. Most of my experience includes walking, feeding, and overnight stays with dogs. I’m a medical assistant that works during the week, so my weekends are wide open for pet sitting and overnight stays. I can also fit in weekday evening dog walks or overnight stays. I currently rent and am unfortunately not able to have animals in my home. I am happy to stop by your home and play with or walk your dogs. I am also happy to do overnight stays as needed.

Hannah was very communicative, arrived promptly, and most of all, our two year old lab adored her! She made friends with him quickly (and he usually is a little hesitant with new people). Otis felt comfortable with her and it was obvious that she knows how to care for, and speak to, dogs. We will definitely use Hannah again! Otis has a new best friend and her name is Hannah!

Anela was wonderful with our two dogs. Detail oriented and thoughtful about all of their needs. She followed all of my instructions carefully which involved a lot of medications for one of my dogs. She left everything clean and tidy following a two night stay. She is on the younger side but very responsible. I highly recommend her.
Chelsi was great. We we out for about 7 hours while she watched Sheilah. She sent us updates and pictures. Since we were out of town, it was reassuring to have such a competent, confident and friendly sitter . Nothing but praise for Chelsi. We will use her again if the situation arises.

This was my first time hiring Bekah to sit for my dog and she did a great job. I came home to a relaxed border collie which speaks volumes about the care she received. Bekah is communitive, prompt, and respectful. And she left the house clean! I will definitely be using her again.

We needed someone to care for our super senior 17 year old that needs multiple oral medications, to be carried up and down steps, and occasionally has accidents in the house and Madison was up for the task for all of it. She took great care of our pup and our home while she stayed here. She was communicative, punctual and responsible. We will definitely use her again in the future.

This is our third time having the pleasure of Ann watching our cat Nico and we cannot say enough good things about her. Nico absolutely adores her and it is clear that she loves him too. She provides regular updates and keeps the house spotless. We always feel completely at ease knowing Nico and our home are in such good hands. I truly cannot recommend her enough. Ann is wonderful.

We're counting our blessings that we found Jordan! In addition to being wonderfully sweet, she was extremely attentive and communicative. Our two dogs are great.....and quirky! She handled them beautifully and checked in with us as needed to ask questions or to let us know her game plan. Our dogs absolutely loved her. And this was the first time my husband was completely relaxed on our getaway, knowing that they were in Jordan's capable and loving hands!
