Movement outdoors & time away from the screen or project, gives me time to process, think, & refine my creativity, even when my attention is on the trail, my animal companion, or the ball that must be thrown. Movement is essential for me, so bringing a dog along, or stopping to take one for a walk, brings value to my day in more ways than it would appear. I have a few appointments during the week. None are longer than 2 hours. I attentive to the animals needs & can provide a safe environment for them to thrive. Whether it’s grooming, play, or loving attention that’s needed, I am there for them. I understand the importance of structure, safety gates, & schedules, especially whenever medication is involved.

We left him with a long (and honestly complicated) list of instructions... different routines, special feeding details, and one of our dogs had wounds on her paw that needed regular care. Dario handled everything exactly as asked and didn’t seem fazed at all. He took great care of both dogs, kept a close eye on the injured paw, and sent us daily updates and photos. That communication made such a difference. During a really hard week for our family, we didn’t have to worry about the dogs, we knew they were in good hands. We had an unexpected guest and 3rd dog show up a few days in, and he handled that calmly and with a great attitude, even helping the dogs get introduced and used to one another. About: I’ve had pets all my life ranging from bottle fed kittens to an energetic plott hound. Over summer and winter break I house/dog sit for a family with 2 large golden doodles that need frequent walking and play time. I’ve personally owned two senior pets one being a Corgi and the other being a Maine Coon mix. I am currently a 2nd year at Westmont College. I am on the volleyball team and am in off season so I have tons of flexibility throughout the week. My most open days are Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. I have two indoor/outdoor cats that love to climb trees but am also familiar with caring for indoor cats as well. When I dog sit, I make sure they are properly walked and have had enough time outside to not only do their business but also time to play! In my home I have scheduled time in the morning my cat’s wet food but throughout the day, they are allowed to eat whenever they feel. The dogs that I’ve sat for have had scheduled meal times and have supplements once daily.

About: A born cat- and horse-lover, then a dog-lover; I adore all animals big and small, and can't wait to meet your sweet pet! I've worked with larger herding dogs (used to wrangle), and small kittens! I’m currently a full-time server and student, but am usually free all day Wed-Friday. During my work days, I’m able to check in, feed, walk, and play with the animals before and after my shifts! Pet safety is my number one concern. When a cat or dog feels safe, they know they can be mischievous and silly, and that’s my goal. I know a fair amount about animal allergies and emergency care (wound care, choking, etc.).
