Information Cheryl W. would like to know about your pet
I love all breeds. I like to know: • The age, energy level and exercise requirements. • Temperament: do they get along with other dogs and people, especially kids. • Any quirky behavior or concerns, including separation anxiety, aggression, counter surfing, or chewing and destruction of belongings. • Please list all your animals on your profile, so they are covered by Rover insurance, and so the sitting fees are applied appropriately. This includes cats & other animals, which are an extra care fee. THANK YOU for reviewing my profile, and I look forward to meeting you and your lovelies for a safe and enjoyable stay. :)

Reliable, trustworthy pet companion
Pet care experience
I'm a friendly and responsible animal lover and photographer. I will ensure your peace of mind while you're away, taking care of your beloved pets and home so you can enjoy your trip. I love to travel, explore, and engage in outdoor adventures like hiking and kayaking. While working remotely, I enjoy the company of pets and take plenty of attention breaks for my furry friends. You can rest assured that I'll spend most of my time with your pets during my stay. As a non-smoker, I am very clean and tidy. I don't party or use drugs, so you can trust that I will leave your cherished home in excellent condition, caring for it respectfully according to your wishes. I love the company of pets and miss having my own to spend time with. Your pets will be treated as if they were my newly adopted family. My journey began with local dog walking experiences, which sparked my interest in pet care. I transitioned into overnight pet and house sitting through referrals. I'm thrilled that this work allows me to indulge my love of animals, travel, and adventure. I started house and pet sitting full time in 2014. As a former homeowner and dog mom for 13 years, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your home and pets. As an avid photographer, I provide regular updates and photos of our adventures so you can be sure your pets are in good hands. I've owned dogs since childhood, starting with Chihuahuas, and they have always been a part of my family. My last two fur kids were a Sheltie mix and a Border Collie/Queensland Heeler. I am a problem solver and have successfully handled unexpected issues while prioritizing the best interests of both pets and owners. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, parakeets, parrots, bunnies, and insects. I'm open to caring for other creatures as needed. Additionally, I have provided light garden and pool care. I've worked at a boarding and daycare facility, feeding and administering medications, supervising group playtime, and ensuring the animals were happy, safe, and comfortable.

Reviews

Cheryl was so sweet with Izzy. We will definitely ask her again!

Cheryl was great for us for a 2 night stay in our house with our angel Ralph. We would hire her again. Thanks Cheryl.

Cheryl was wonderful! Easy communication and provided the right amount of updates to give me peace of mind during the Thanksgiving holiday away from my pup. Would definitely recommend her for your dog/house sitting needs!

Cheryl was just great and the only reason it's not 5 stars is that we could not meet at the agreed start time on the day I was leaving and I felt bad not going over more things re house and Riley, but we did catch up more on my return and I also had a chance after to see how nice she took care of my home and belongings besides being a very loving pet sitter and keeping me informed. She's very professional and friendly; I would definitely use Cheryl again if I can get her on a date and time that's available for both of us. And I already gave her my tip in person.
