About: Growing up my mother would call me Dr Doolittle because animals are naturally attracted to me. I grew up on a ranch in the mountains of Santa Barbara and still have property there and take my dog Dory on hikes and beach walks. I love animals and am happiest when I’m surrounded by them always have. I work mainly from home so I have plenty of time to care for your dog. I will do my best to accommodate your schedule which I know can be last minute. Happy to help out. About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I come from a long line of dog people, with generations of family members who have always had dogs in the home. If you ask me my favorite subject, the answer is always “dogs.” I’m the type of person who says hello to every dog I pass, attends dog trivia nights for fun, and spends my free time volunteering at Santa Barbara Humane. If there’s a dog nearby, chances are I’ve already stopped to say hi! My background as an animal lover goes beyond passion. I spent years working in veterinary medicine, gaining hands-on experience caring for animals that need a little extra attention and support. This includes puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with medical needs. I already love spending time walking around beautiful Santa Barbara, so I’m thrilled to combine my daily walks with quality time spent with the doggos of Santa Barbara! I have a flexible, hybrid schedule and can typically adjust on short notice. If I do go into my office, it’s typically for 4-6 hours. I love taking walks throughout the day, so it’ll be easy to add walking your dog to my daily schedule! I have a one bedroom apartment with a sunny balcony. I am able to close off various spaces around the apartment if needed. I’m also comfortable with pets on furniture and giving baths if needed.

Lynn offered up a phone call so I could talk about the care and treatment I needed. I was so worried to leave my pup since she’d been having some health issues, but when it was time to drop her off, Lynn and Marty and their senior fur baby dog had the best vibes and wanted to make sure my pup was well taken care of. I could tell my pup felt right at home and loved exploring their nice yard. I got regular photos and updates on how she was doing and whether she’d eaten. When I picked her up, Lynn and Marty said they’d miss her and she looked relaxed and happy. I would definitely be a repeat customer and would recommend this gem of a place for pet care 🐾 💕”

About: I have owned two large dogs before a German Shepard, and a lab Shepard mix . I also understand that some dogs are energetic and need more exercise so I am patient with those doggos too! I am also attentive to their health and body language and I will communicate with you whether I notice anything concerning. I work full time from 8-5pm Mon-Friday. I am available early mornings before 7am or after 5pm on the weekdays and any time on the weekends. I cannot board dogs or cats however I am more than happy to watch them in their home! About: I am a complete dog lover and have taken care of dogs for family and friends ever since I was a kid. A few years ago when I began working remotely and had more time to dedicate, I got a dog of my own. Sawyer is a 45lb Portuguese Pointer. He is 6 years old but still a puppy at heart. Sawyer loves to play with other dogs, cuddle and go to the beach. I work from home and have lots of time in between meetings where I can be available to play with the pups and/or take them on walks! I can be flexible based on each dogs needs but it is standard that I walk Sawyer in the morning when we wake up, around lunch time, at the end of the work day, and before bed. I have a camera roll filled with doggy photos so you can be sure to expect daily updates and pictures while your pup is in my care 😊 Sawyer loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a friend to play with or cuddle. About: I received my MS degree in Human Canine Life Sciences last year. I have studied everything from genetics, domestication, breeding and legal regulations for canines, to the untapped potential of their abilities, the complexities of their emotional lives and the world of assisted therapy and facility dogs. About: Dogs have been part of my family my whole life. I grew up with terriers, and often cared for my friends Great Danes and labs. Extra Large breeds have always held a special place in my heart. 5 years ago I brought home my first Great Dane puppy, Moku. At around 2 years old Moku developed Epilepsy. His seizures were always grand mal, and went through different phases of frequency and severity over the past couple of years. I spent the past 2 years doing everything I possibly could to help keep his seizures under control and make sure he was generally healthy and living a high quality life. After more unexplained health complications, countless blood tests, ultra sounds, CT scans, etc- we realized that Moku had a rare and incurable Neuromuscular condition. He passed away in April 2023, just days after his diagnosis. All that to say- I am now very comfortable with caring for special needs dogs of all sizes, emergency situations, administering medications on a strict schedule, and loving our furry family members through the hardships. I have experience in puppy training and senior dog care as well :) My current work schedule is as follows- so please be aware if the timing conflicts with your pets needs as I will be away from your pet during these times. Monday 8:30-3:00 Thursday 10:30-5:00 Saturday 8:30-3:00 Sunday 10:00-5:30 This depends on the client and what services they are requesting. We can discuss how you take care of your pet at home and what you hope for me to do. Regardless, your pet will be well loved and supervised.

About: I have worked at a cat boarding facility for the better part of five years. I have many pets and experience with the following; medicine administration, injecting insulin, monitoring the cats’ health and appetite, cleaning, and making sure each and every cat got the adequate attention they needed. About: Hello There! My little family and myself are pet lovers! 🥰 We have two dogs, two cats and a bearded dragon. Our home has always been a bit of a revolving door for furry friends. I have been dog walking and pet sitting locally for the past 17yrs and have plenty of references. I am out and about most mornings doing dog walks, typically 9/930-12ish and available again most afternoon or evenings depending on what you need. I work for an afterschool program during the school year so my schedule tends to open up a bit more during the summer. We have a high, fully fenced in back yard w plenty of shade. About: I am a complete dog lover and have taken care of dogs for family and friends ever since I was a kid. A few years ago when I began working remotely and had more time to dedicate, I got a dog of my own. Sawyer is a 45lb Portuguese Pointer. He is 6 years old but still a puppy at heart. Sawyer loves to play with other dogs, cuddle and go to the beach. I work from home and have lots of time in between meetings where I can be available to play with the pups and/or take them on walks! I can be flexible based on each dogs needs but it is standard that I walk Sawyer in the morning when we wake up, around lunch time, at the end of the work day, and before bed. I have a camera roll filled with doggy photos so you can be sure to expect daily updates and pictures while your pup is in my care 😊 Sawyer loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a friend to play with or cuddle. About: Since my early childhood, I've nurtured a profound fascination with animals, which began when I used to visit my papa's ranch and assist him in caring for dogs, horses, lambs, and various other animals. This passion persisted as I ventured into horseback riding and my family welcomed our first golden retriever. About: I have owned two large dogs before a German Shepard, and a lab Shepard mix . I also understand that some dogs are energetic and need more exercise so I am patient with those doggos too! I am also attentive to their health and body language and I will communicate with you whether I notice anything concerning. I work full time from 8-5pm Mon-Friday. About: Dogs have been part of my family my whole life. I grew up with terriers, and often cared for my friends Great Danes and labs. Extra Large breeds have always held a special place in my heart. 5 years ago I brought home my first Great Dane puppy, Moku. At around 2 years old Moku developed Epilepsy. His seizures were always grand mal, and went through different phases of frequency and severity over the past couple of years. I spent the past 2 years doing everything I possibly could to help keep his seizures under control and make sure he was generally healthy and living a high quality life. After more unexplained health complications, countless blood tests, ultra sounds, CT scans, etc- we realized that Moku had a rare and incurable Neuromuscular condition. He passed away in April 2023, just days after his diagnosis. All that to say- I am now very comfortable with caring for special needs dogs of all sizes, emergency situations, administering medications on a strict schedule, and loving our furry family members through the hardships. I have experience in puppy training and senior dog care as well :) My current work schedule is as follows- so please be aware if the timing conflicts with your pets needs as I will be away from your pet during these times. Monday 8:30-3:00 Thursday 10:30-5:00 Saturday 8:30-3:00 Sunday 10:00-5:30 This depends on the client and what services they are requesting. About: I’ve grown up around dogs, young and old, and think the absolute world of these beautiful animals. I recently parted ways with my soul dog when he passed in March and have missed him every moment since. Despite this loss, I have not lost my love for dogs. Caring for your baby would be an absolute privilege and joy for me, and I promise to love and look out for them as my own. I work in home health healthcare but am typically available every morning before 10am and every afternoon after 4pm. My days can be flexible where I can check in periodically as well— I am happy to coordinate as needed. I’m also off every Wednesday and am available over overnight stays.
