“Leo is phenomenal! Very communicative before and during the booking. Four days in and our cat was cuddling on the couch with Leo. He’s a cat whisperer. Such a peace of mind while we were traveling. Would definitely book him again.”

About: I’m a college student in the Santa Barbara/Montecito area with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. I’m reliable, punctual, and active, so your friend will always get the attention and exercise they need. I have loved taking care of pets since I got a dog of my own in 2014. I have been trusted to care for friend’s pets and homes for quite some time. I communicate with owners well with photos and notes after every walk so you know your dog is safe and happy. I am eager to spend time with your furry friends this semester! I am a full time student at Westmont college. I’m available most afternoons, with lots of free time on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Pet care fits naturally into my routine- I love walk local neighborhoods and beaches in my free time and would love to have your pet come along! I have some availability on weekends for walks and drop-ins! I do not provide my own home care- as I live in a dorm! Even though there is not much space for me to care for a pet, I’d love to spend time with your furry friend outside or in-house!
About: I've cared for my family dog and rabbits for 8+ years. Neighbors and family have entrusted me with walking and caring for their pets while on trips. I'm currently house-sitting and looking for a job, so I am free to walk your pet anytime! I am happy to sparse out my time with walks and drop ins. I've recently watched a lovely 14-year-old cat throughout the day, with love, feeding, cuddles, and litter-box services. With taking care of dogs, I try to prioritize exercise, playful attention, and any extra care that they may need.
About: I'm a lifelong animal owner and lover - large breeds and small or with fur, scales, hooves, or feathers. My live-in partner is the manager of a veterinary clinic and I am a certified dog trainer with an extensive history of working in the animal industry at pet stores, groomers, and ranches. Together, we offer a uniquely loving, experienced, and structured environment for pets of any size or special needs. Pets in our care are spoiled with snuggles and lots of love, treats (when permitted by their owners) and rarely spend time out of our sight. Long walks and playtime with our cattle dog and chihuahua wear out most dogs in no time. Unless specifically requested by their owners, dogs in our care are never crated for extended periods or locked inside without access to a fenced patio. I work from home and offer an open, flexible schedule for clients with pets of all kinds. My pups and I begin each day with a walk to the beach, then home for a quick bath, brush, and nap before more playtime in the afternoon. Working from home allows me all the time in the world to pamper my pups and our visiting guests, offering customized care for their unique needs. I treat drop-in visits like I would my own home, bringing in packages and ensuring everyone is happy and healthy before departing. Pets in my care are given extensive mental enrichment and physical exercise, with photos sent each visit to pet parents to ease any concerns and keep you informed about what your beloved furry family member is up to each day.
About: I was raised with a puppy and have had many dogs since—they truly make my heart melt! Dogs are so special, and I love giving them all the playtime, fun, and enrichment they need to stay happy and healthy. I’m all about keeping tails wagging with love, attention, and care they can count on. Pet care is a natural and joyful part of my daily routine. I prioritize feeding, walking, playtime, and giving pets plenty of love and attention. I’m currently working part-time and in school twice a week, but I have a light schedule that leaves me with plenty of free time to dedicate to your pet’s care. I stay organized and make sure to follow each pet’s routine to keep them happy and comfortable. When caring for pets in your home, I’m attentive and respectful of their routines and environment. I’m a quick learner and follow your instructions closely to make sure your pet gets the best care possible. I also know when to take initiative and solve problems calmly to keep your pet safe, happy, and comfortable.
About: I was born into a pet-loving home and began helping with pet care as early as age six — feeding, walking, and helping with training our family dogs. Since then, I’ve spent over three decades caring for dogs and other animals, both personally and professionally. My approach is intuitive, compassionate, and built on a lifetime of hands-on experience. Pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle. As a Montecito-based business owner and endurance athlete, I spend much of my time on the trails and beaches — often with a dog by my side. My lifelong love of animals, combined with my endurance background, makes me especially well-suited for larger or high-energy breeds. I genuinely love bonding with dogs and take pride in being a calm, confident presence — a natural pack leader they can trust. I care for the dogs I walk as if they were my own — with plenty of love, attention, and respect for their individual needs. I’m known for giving dogs the exercise they truly crave, whether that’s an energizing trail walk, a beach romp, or a steady neighborhood outing. I stay fully present and engaged, making sure each walk is safe, stimulating, and tailored to the dog’s energy level and personality.
“I felt very comfortable leaving my kitty with Courtney! I know cats have a reputation for being independent but some (mine) still need plenty of attention while we’re away and I was glad to know Courtney understood gets it. Courtney was great, especially if you have a kitty that wants more during a visit than a full food bowl.”

About: I am a complete dog lover and have taken care of dogs for family and friends ever since I was a kid. A few years ago when I began working remotely and had more time to dedicate, I got a dog of my own. Sawyer is a 45lb Portuguese Pointer. He is 6 years old but still a puppy at heart. Sawyer loves to play with other dogs, cuddle and go to the beach. I work from home and have lots of time in between meetings where I can be available to play with the pups and/or take them on walks! I can be flexible based on each dogs needs but it is standard that I walk Sawyer in the morning when we wake up, around lunch time, at the end of the work day, and before bed. I have a camera roll filled with doggy photos so you can be sure to expect daily updates and pictures while your pup is in my care 😊 Sawyer loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a friend to play with or cuddle. I have a fenced in courtyard where I can work and let the dogs lay outside. For walks we usually go around town on the sidewalks or down to the park/beach that is nearby our home. Please reach out if you have any questions!

About: I received my MS degree in Human Canine Life Sciences last year. I have studied everything from genetics, domestication, breeding and legal regulations for canines, to the untapped potential of their abilities, the complexities of their emotional lives and the world of assisted therapy and facility dogs. I also recently completed a two-week workshop on training service animals. I have fostered and volunteered for 18 years and ran a dog walking business during college. I am a wealth of information about animals and a well of pure love that will never run dry. I can assess if there are health issues and make recommendations if you want to have that conversation. I also crock"pet" whole food dog food and can advise you on nutrition too, if that's of interest. I am highly sensitive to animals and their needs and moods and comfortability. I have two highly reactive large breeds and can handle dogs on leash in any situation (and won't put myself in one that I can not). I really want to be an advocate for all animals and be a positive part of your lives, whether it's a one time walk or everyday. I'm also here to talk about your pets with you and I will send from zero to a zillion photos and messages- whatever makes you feel good. I can promise you my full attention and so much crazy love for your mates. I am a writer and I also produce and act in the theatre. Most of the time, unless I am in rehearsal, I work from home with a highly flexible schedule. If I'm not home, I'm probably sneaking across the street (when my dawgos aren't looking) stealing snugs and offering the occasional greenie to the dogs on my block. They're sooooo nice, they kill me. I'm hugely attentive and I enjoy it all: a rambunctious playful dude, a senior who just wants belly rubs and snoogs, and the process of gaining the trust of a dog who may need some time and space at first. All of it. I pay attention. I'm with your pets to provide care, love and my presence, not just clock in and out. I feel a responsibility to the well-being of animals (and am honored to have that responsibility) because I have so much education and experience. The time I spend is quality and mindful and I'm truly grateful for it.
About: I was a nanny over the last several years and always easily got acquainted with whichever household pets came with my jobs. I am confident with animals and easily make a connection. I am gentle and kind and I’ve never had had a problem with any animals, I have run into or cared for. I currently just moved back to Santa Barbara and do a little pet sitting already. But I’m looking to expand my platform. I have an open schedule and want to have a Part-time job that I enjoy doing. I am happy to provide, whichever services are needed per sitting. If that means, it’s a walk, feeding, overnight, just some friendly attention or etc, I am more than happy to provide anything.
About: I raised French Bulldogs and cared for three litters. I have experience in obedience dog training. I have cared for senior dogs who need extra care. I have a very flexible schedule and would love to fill that time enjoying time and taking care of your animals! My pets are very cared for, they are treated like family because they are. You can trust that I will give every and any animal on my care the utmost respect and love, and I will always let owners know if I notice anything out of the ordinary.
About: I have been watching pets ever since I was around 9 years old. I cared for many friends, families, and neighbors pets and houses while they were away. I have also been a foster parent for abandoned and sick cats and dogs, which gives me lots of experience with general care. I am a veterinary assistant full time but I can come early mornings and afternoons and evenings. I am able for dog walking and daily visits. I am able to care for your pets in your home or walking around the block following any routines and rules you may have for them.

I sincerely love animals and care about their well-being. I offer Doggy Daycare, Drop-in Visits, and Dog Walks in the Summerland area. I’m insured thru PCI. Don’t hesitate to reach out to discuss! 🐱🐕🐠 P.s. My local business is called Haley Soraya Pet Care and can be found on Nextdoor or Facebook (lower rates thru direct contact!) My schedule varies depending on the week but I am typically able to accommodate your pet care needs. I have weekend availability too. Reach out and let’s talk about it! When house sitting and doing drop-ins, I am respectful of your home and your pets needs. I will not explore your home or linger there longer than you request. I do not party or partake in drugs or alcohol. On dog walks, I am courteous of your dog’s need to sniff, poo, and pee. Walks are a chance for your dog to take a break from the house and I honor their needs while walking.
About: Dogs have been part of my family my whole life. I grew up with terriers, and often cared for my friends Great Danes and labs. Extra Large breeds have always held a special place in my heart. 5 years ago I brought home my first Great Dane puppy, Moku. At around 2 years old Moku developed Epilepsy. His seizures were always grand mal, and went through different phases of frequency and severity over the past couple of years. I spent the past 2 years doing everything I possibly could to help keep his seizures under control and make sure he was generally healthy and living a high quality life. After more unexplained health complications, countless blood tests, ultra sounds, CT scans, etc- we realized that Moku had a rare and incurable Neuromuscular condition. He passed away in April 2023, just days after his diagnosis. All that to say- I am now very comfortable with caring for special needs dogs of all sizes, emergency situations, administering medications on a strict schedule, and loving our furry family members through the hardships. I have experience in puppy training and senior dog care as well :) My current work schedule is as follows- so please be aware if the timing conflicts with your pets needs as I will be away from your pet during these times. Monday 8:30-3:00 Thursday 10:30-5:00 Saturday 8:30-3:00 Sunday 10:00-5:30 This depends on the client and what services they are requesting. We can discuss how you take care of your pet at home and what you hope for me to do. Regardless, your pet will be well loved and supervised.
