Growing up on a ranch, I helped raise and care for all kinds of animals including rabbits, cats, and dogs, learning hands-on responsibility and compassion from a young age. I bring decades of experience and have a special love for senior pets. Since 2011, I’ve rescued and cared for older dogs, giving them comfort, attention, and love in their final years. Two of my own cats lived to be 20, so I understand the dedication needed for long-term care. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a shy rescue, or a senior pet, I treat every animal like family. About: I am hyper-attuned to your dog's needs ensuring your pets sense of trust and well-being is secure. Showing up and being present is my priority! I work primarily from home, and my schedule is flexible from the morning to early evening time, making it easy to schedule service times that work conveniently with your schedule and pet needs. Routines and consistency are important to ensuring a dog's sense of the world and trust because they can anticipate what to expect each day. With my own dogs, I wake up and take them for a jog first thing in every morning. The routine accompanied with the daily exercise makes for very happy, well-behaved and content dogs. I will bring that same perspective to your pet's life. Additionally, I am a long time Rover customer and when I was single and working 9-5, I relied heavily on my dog walker and sitter to show up daily, on time, in a loving, attentive way. For those of you who are away from your pets for long periods, please know that I understand the importance of being that consistent person in their life who shows up on time and meets their needs in your absence. About: I’ve worked professionally with dogs for over 5 years at a dog daycare and boarding facility, caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I also have a multi-pet household of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling routines, feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, and giving your pup or kitty lots of love and attention. I have experience working with puppies, senior dogs, nervous or anxious dogs, and dogs who may need extra patience and reassurance to feel comfortable. About: Recently came back to rover. I mostly do private pet sitting for fun. I love all animals, I am patient, and I enjoy going on walks and runs. I can follow special instructions for different dogs that require special attention. Which includes pets that require medication or special feeding routines. I have cared for dogs from as little as 2 pound yorkies to full grown golden retrievers. I will make sure that your pet is well feed and loved under my care. I will give your dog the attention it deserves and treat it like my own. I also currently own two mixed dogs that were adopted and a toy yorkie. I am currently a full time student, Which limits my avaliability. If a house sitter is needed on a Thursday as well which is not listed on as an option I will be available to start after 5pm. I’m always willing to try and make schedule accommodations that work best for YOU!
