About: Cats have always been a special part of my life. I’ve cared for two of my own cats for 20 years, so I understand the dedication and love required for long-term feline care. From energetic kittens to seniors needing extra TLC, I adjust care to each cat’s personality. I’m experienced with medications, maintaining routines, and creating calm, low-stress environments. I also know all the tricks to get a cat’s attention—like opening a book or laptop, which magically makes them appear right on your keyboard! Whether your cat enjoys active play or quiet lap snuggles, I ensure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away.
About: I am hyper-attuned to your dog's needs ensuring your pets sense of trust and well-being is secure. Showing up and being present is my priority! I work primarily from home, and my schedule is flexible from the morning to early evening time, making it easy to schedule service times that work conveniently with your schedule and pet needs. Routines and consistency are important to ensuring a dog's sense of the world and trust because they can anticipate what to expect each day. With my own dogs, I wake up and take them for a jog first thing in every morning. The routine accompanied with the daily exercise makes for very happy, well-behaved and content dogs. I will bring that same perspective to your pet's life. Additionally, I am a long time Rover customer and when I was single and working 9-5, I relied heavily on my dog walker and sitter to show up daily, on time, in a loving, attentive way. For those of you who are away from your pets for long periods, please know that I understand the importance of being that consistent person in their life who shows up on time and meets their needs in your absence. Being a Rover walker and drop-in visitor is my way of giving back and saying thank you for all those who supported my pups for so many years!
“Kelsey has done a fantastic job looking after Bobcat. She's very responsible and she always keeps you updated which is very reassuring. She truly loves animals. I'm very happy I found her and will continue to have her petsit for me in the future.”

“Perla is amazing. She didn't miss a beat when I gave her the wrong house key. My cats warmed up to her right away. Her demeanor was so calm and lovely. I will certainly be contacting her in the future.”

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and currently have 2 cats of my own that I’ve cared for for over 13 years after rescuing them off of the street. I also have experience caring for neighbors’ cats while they’re away. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter box care, playtime, medications if needed, and giving shy or nervous cats time and patience to warm up at their own pace.
“Leanna and Julio took great care of our 5 cats while we were gone for two weeks. The videos, pictures, and written updates everyday helped so much as I was missing our kitties. The care and attention they provided was amazing. I will definitely be booking them again.”

“I highly recommend Annette! She accepted my booking request on very short notice, which was a huge help. She took great care of my three cats and was reliable, responsive, and thoughtful, sending me pictures and updates during each visit. It gave me peace of mind knowing my pets were in good hands while I was away. I truly appreciated her help and would gladly book with her again.”

About: I love cats and their energy! I’ve had pet cats in the past that I rescued from shelters and even aided in adoption situations with neighborhood strays. I basically melt into a puddle anytime I’m around a cat.

About: I’ve always loved cats and have cared for them for friends, family, and clients. I understand that every cat has a unique personality some love attention, while others prefer their space. I’m patient, gentle, and focused on making sure your cat feels comfortable, secure, and loved in your absence.

“We had an absolutely incredible experience with Sage, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. This was our first time using Rover, and we were honestly a bit nervous going in. Our cat, Lily, is very old and can be a little grouchy and skittish around new people, which added to our concern. From the very beginning, Sage put all of those worries at ease. To our amazement, Lily warmed up to her very quickly, something we’ve rarely seen. Her professionalism and communication were outstanding. She kept us consistently updated (daily photos and FaceTime on request), which made being away so much easier, and it was clear in every message how much she genuinely cared. Sage has an intuitive understanding of cats that’s hard to put into words… she truly is a cat whisperer. On top of that, Sage took wonderful care of our home while housesitting for over a week. We didn’t know what to expect having someone stay in our house for that long, but she was incredibly respectful and left everything in perfect condition. It felt like our home was in thoughtful, capable hands the entire time. Sage didn’t just meet our expectations, she blew them away. We would trust her again without hesitation.”

“Diana was awesome and took care of my cat Moka. Unfortunately Moka made a mess near her cat litter, but Diana cleaned it up and checked to make sure she was ok. She is also is very thorough and kept me up to date each time she came to see my cat.”

“My two dogs loved Ashley! They have extreme separation anxiety being away from me, but they were so comfortable with Ashley and loved being with her! She took amazing care of them and sent updates throughout their stay! I will use her again! :)”

“Our pup has stayed with Kay a few times now and we've already scheduled some more visits. Kay is very patient and kind. She is also very accomodating. Vaughan gets to walk and play in the yard and comes home tired and happy. Thanks Kay!”

“This is the third time our dog has done doggy day care at Jessica's and it is always a positive experience. Our dog was in good hands, and loves playing with Jessica's dog Luma and had a playmate to match her high energy. Jessica is responsive, sent updates and photos, and we appreciate her asking questions beforehand to see if there is anything she should know and is observant of our dog's needs during the stay. Highly recommend!”

About: Lifetime of love and experience taking care of animals. From guinea pigs, birds and large tortoises to 100 lb dogs and many animals in between. I will provide a comfortable and safe family home, large fenced yard, two 30 minute walks/day, and infinite love. Don’t mind administering oral meds if needed. I work full time from home all days of the week/end and have a flexible schedule. Happy to provide morning and afternoon walks in a family friendly neighborhood. Your dog will get to stay in a loving family home and will have full access to large fenced yard with plenty of sunshine, grass and shade. Your dog will be pampered with attention, belly rubs and play time. Lots of sunny napping spots for when they want to chill.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I learned responsibility by having dogs all my life. The attachment and care I have for animals is tremendous. My heart is full because of them and it breaks when they’re hurting or sad. I take a lot of pride in the way I care for my own animals. I always put their needs first. I even took a remote job so I can spend more time with them. When my dog got sick I was constantly monitoring, medication handling, and I never put her health to the side. I act quickly. I also am very careful with who the dogs I take care of come in contact with. I can read dogs body language and will not force them to be in a situation they don’t like. Some dogs are friendly and some like their space. It is important for me to create space. It doesn’t matter if a dog is small and won’t hurt a fly, they can agitate a dog that can hurt them. I have even saved a yorkie from being attacked by a dog. This wasn’t under my care but I knew what to do and stepped in. I currently work remote. This means I can take out the pups for play and for a walk. I live right down the street from a park. And prioritize taking the pups out 2-3 times a day. Making sure they’re out for more than an hour. I have a small back yard and 3 friendly dogs. One old Shih Tzu, a heeler, and a yorkie. They love to play but love to protect their home so they will always be loud when someone is at the door.. I always treat the pups the same. I know how worried I am leaving my heeler behind so I know to take good care of new pups because I know they’re missing their parents too! As for someone else’s home. I do the same! Obviously respect the home but work in a schedule to accommodate what I need to get done but also create play, walk, or enrichment play.

“Ellen was great. She took great care of our pup and was very easy going. She even had some advice for activities in town that were really great. We will definitely see her again next time we are in town.”

About: Friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets while they are away from home. I find joy in caring for animals. Working hybrid Monday through Friday gives me flexibility to adjust my schedule when needed, and I’m always happy to spend my weekends caring for furry friends. With proper coordination, I can also host pets overnight giving them a comfortable, safe, and loving environment while you’re away. I pride myself on being professional, kind, and inviting so that both you and your dog feel completely at ease. I have a cozy pet spa in my apartment complex where I can pamper your pet with baths and playtime. I also love taking daily walks, hikes, and runs to keep pets active and happy. I believe every pet needs daily stimulation whether that’s exploring new scents on a walk, enjoying a good run, or simply relaxing in a calm space. While you’re at work or away, I’m here to provide your pet with comfort, companionship, and the reassurance of not being alone.
“Sara saved our trip! We were camping in the area and planned a day out at the Channel Islands NP (not dog-friendly). Our original doggy sitter canceled on us two days before and we scrambled to find someone last minute. It was a blessing in disguise. Sara is the absolute sweetest! Communication was excellent. She updated us throughout the day with photos and kept our girl busy with playtime, a walk, and a hike. She was able to administer medication too. I can’t say enough good things! Thank you, Sara!”

“We were very happy with Hersh and his care for our small dog Sophie. Sophie was calm and relaxed when we picker her up unlike a previous stay at a kennel for small dogs. Hersh sent us a picture of Sophie relaxing on the couch and I could tell she was enjoying herself and was content. Good job. We would definitely use Hersh again if we are traveling in the area.”

“Kelsey was awesome with our puppy! She kept her busy and our pup was always happy and tired when I picked her up. Our pup was always so excited when she realized we arrived at Kelsey's place. Thank you, Kelsey!”

“When we arrived to drop of Bubba, Deandra invited us inside, I liked that. She kept us updated about how he was doing during the day. I would definitely contact Deandra again.”

“My husband and I were visiting Ventura and in desperate need of a sitter for my dog. Chelsey was super professional, positive and very sweet. My baby was happy when I picked him up. I definitely will bring my dog back. Thank you Chelsey.”

“Kirsten is such an amazing help. She is reliable and gives great daily updates. Any time I need advice or dog sitter her and her pups are always there. My puppy also adores her dogs!”

“Kalia was easy to work with, great communication from the start. Provided me with updates and photos of Champ during his stay. I highly recommend Kalia if you’re in town and need someone to look after your pet!”

“I cannot thoroughly explain how grateful I am that Lexie agreed to watch my boy for me; we had met with another sitter months in advance who agreed to our pick up and drop off times at the meet and greet, but decided to cancel on me a few hours before! Beyond flustered and upset I was panicking, but Lexie came to the rescue but not only that, she provided Oliver a safe place to interact with other dogs. 🥹🧡 She provided updates with pictures to let me know my baby was safe and being watched. if you’re looking for a sitter who is reliable and will love your dog like their own, I highly recommend Lexie. I will be using her again in the future.”

“Cheryl was a sensitive, caring dog sitter for our very anxious Bichon named Layla, who has suffered from separation anxiety when we go away. This time with Cheryl taking care of her for 12 hours on thanksgiving, Layla was relaxed and happy while we were gone. Cheryl sent photos of Layla relaxing peacefully in her arms. After we took her home, Layla didn't act up at all. She quietly settled back into her normal routine and slept through the night without any fussing! Great job, Cheryl! Also we had to make a change in when we planned to leave and Cheryl didn't mind accommodating that last-minute change. We plan to use Cheryl again when we need a pet sitter. I recently recommended her to my friend who needed a dog sitter for her doggie.”

Will definitely be booking with him again!”

When my Sofi ran into the house to greet me after her walk to say I’m back she immediately returned to Ari for some rubs. I knew then I was totally comfortable giving my sweet girl’s care to Ari. Three walks done and many more planned. Thank you, Ari, for making Sofi’s life better. She loves her walks.”

“We had a wonderful experience and would give more than 5 stars if we could! Our dog was so comfortable and happy during her stay, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Communication was excellent throughout our trip - we received regular updates and felt confident that our dog was well cared for. It’s clear they genuinely love animals and provide a safe, welcoming environment. We would happily book with them again and highly recommend to other pet parents!”

“My Teddy Bear enjoyed his stay at Amber's house! He had a ball running around in her big, fenced in backyard and playing with her two girls! Teddy also enjoyed a nature walk! Amber's home is comfortable and she provided a very nice stay for my pup. She even gave me fresh eggs from her chickens! I highly recommend Amber and would not hesitate to use her again!”

“Deandra and her family took wonderful care of my 5 month old puppy over the holidays. Charlie stayed with Deandra for 10 days and was given so much care and attention. She loved playing with their dog in the front yard, which was great socialization and tuckered Charlie out! Deandra sent daily updates which made me feel comforted to leave her for an extended timeframe. I highly recommend Deandra and plan to book her again!”

“Sheena was outstanding! Very communicative and took great care of our dog. Loved all of the photos she sent along the way. We felt very comfortable with her and our dog was happy when we arrived. If we need a sitter again, I will definitely see if she is available.”

“Outstanding service. Claudia sent me tons of photos everday and it made me feel not terrible about leaving my baby behind because it looked like she was having so much fun. Thanks again.”

“Stefanie and her husband were fantastic. My dog was well cared for and I received pictures and status updates frequently. I highly recommend boarding your dog Stefanie, she treated my dog like family.”

“Chris was awesome with our dog and was flexible with a booking on short notice! We will definitely use him again to watch our dog when we travel! He also provided photos and frequent updates, thank you!”

“Our fur babies stayed with Alexandra and Billy during our vacation in Santa Barbara. They were very accommodating during our time there. We were able to pick our pups, spend time with them and drop them off again. Our pups were happy and well taken care of. We will definitely contact them again on future visits to the area.”

“Bethany was a lifesaver! We needed last-minute care, and she responded right away and met with us quickly to make it happen. Rezzi instantly got along with her sweet pup, Momo, and I received daily photo updates that kept me at ease. Bethany works from home, has a small backyard for playtime, and made sure Rezzi got her daily walks. Rezzi came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I would definitely book with Bethany again!”

“Misty and her family took excellent care of Greta. I would definitely recommend and have complete confidence with Greta staying over in the future. The daily photos were great and added to our confidence and comfort.”

“Caring family and plenty of space to run around! Our one and a bit year old pup had an absolute blast zooming around the backyard with their two labradoodles. Amanda was very accomodating and kept us updated with pictures.”

“Mark and Yulia have the sweetest family and they took such incredible care of my Hazel! She is very expressive and her happiness was beaming through the photo updates I was sent regularly. I get anxious to leave my dog but having her in their care was a big relief to me. Thank you so much for everything!!!”

“Cindi loves Jessica and her husband and her brother and their pets. I was so pleased with all they did for Cindi. In fact, Cindi is a little down now that she is back home as she misses her new friends. Jessica kept in touch by text everyday so our two week trip to the Netherlands was free from worry. I would highly recommend Jessica as a pet sitter. She is always smiling and a wonderful person. Julie”

“We had a wonderful experience booking with Kalia. She was always quick to respond to booking requests, messages, and was very understanding when we had to cancel a different booking due to a change in plans. She sent regular updates and pictures of our boy and I could tell he was having a great visit with her and her two goldens. She put our mind at ease as this was our first time booking through Rover. We had used boarding facilities in the past and our boy would come back overstimulated and often with tummy issues, but it was not the case when he stayed with Kalia. We will definitely book with her again next time!”
