5. Shanna M.
“Shanna took very good care of my kitties. She came over to meet them and understand the routine ahead of time, which shows that she wanted to have a good understanding of what she was supposed to do. She asked thoughtful questions. Each time she came over she left a thorough report card with lots of photos. Each time she not only fed and clean the kitties as requested, but also played with them. She spent more time with them than a simple stop in and check on. Definitely would recommend.”

She would be an excellent caretaker for your pet, providing love while you are away.”
8. Bekah S.
“I was worried about leaving my 13 year old shitzu named Charyls with anyone because he has some severe health issues and dietary needs. Bekah is so good with him and cared for him as if he were her own. I always feel safe leaving Charyls with her knowing I will come back to a well taken care of and well loved pup. Highly recommend.”

About: I have over 15 years of experience caring for my family dog along with my own two bully breeds (pictured with me). Aside from being your typical dog mom, I am a volunteer to my local shelter and rescues as I have a deep passion for the voiceless. I am leveled from easy to jumpy mouthy and particular have a passion for the bully breeds. Whether you are looking for a companion to keep your dog company or one who needs to let out its energy with a long walk, from puppy to senior, you can rely on me to meet their specific needs. I am currently working from home with a flexible schedule, so I am reliable to be available for your pet care needs. From walking to drop in visits and overnight stay, I can contribute to allowing your dog to keep their routine. My dogs are my children, though, with the understanding that they are also animals who thrive off the appropriate amount of structure. With love and routine as needed you can be sure your dog is well taken care of in your absence. For in-house stays, I am also experienced with crating if necessary
11. Rae L.
“Rae is amazing with animals of all sizes and needs! She is super patient and loving with my senior cat and dog. They both have a few health issues and are definitely stubborn, but Rae is great with both of them and they love her.”
12. Alex G.
“Alex was so good with our kitties! They took to him almost instantly which made me feel much better about leaving them in his care. There was a slight misunderstanding about his availability, we wanted someone to do overnights but he was only available for drop-ins. He came over twice a day, and really took the time to hang out with the cats, play with them and give them cuddles and plenty of treats. He took excellent care of my indoor plants as well, which usually don't fare so well when we're away. He sent me daily photos and updates which I really appreciated, and I could tell that the cats thoroughly enjoyed their time spent with him. Being owned by a cat himself he really seems to understand cat's needs and energy and also the anxiety involved in leaving them to go on trips. Thanks to Alex I didn't have to worry because I knew my kitties were safe and getting sufficient attention. Sometimes they hide from the housesitters, but not so in Alex's case! We returned home to happy plants and well cared for cats! Would definitely use Alex again even if he can't do overnights because the peace of mind is more important! Thank you Alex for taking such good care of our kitties!”

About: My experience with dog care starts with my own. I had chihuahua/rat terrier mix named Jinx. I first got her when I was 11 years old, and she was one of the most rambunctious puppies in the world. She was always so full of life and energy, so I definitely have experience under my belt for a dog on the crazier side! Of course the basic care of walking her, playing with her, feeding her, picking up after her, bathing her, as well as helping her to take her medicine. As crazy as she was she was a very mellow, and loving dog. Although there was one thing that set her off, and that was fireworks. Because of that, I have some personal experience on how to calm a dog down during moments that are frustrating for them. Petting them, soothing them, trying to talk in a calm manner. Even taking them some where away from the chaos helps a lot too! My next experience with taking care of dogs was when I lived with my Uncle. He had three dogs that were a little more high maintenance so that included two 30 minute walks a day, a very fancy specific diet, and medication. One of the ways that experience helps me is because I know how to walk three dogs at once! Another way that helps is because one of his dogs Max, was super grouchy and not really fond of anybody, especially men. He unfortunately had to be put on doggy Prozac because of house angry he was becoming, but that helped me a lot more to learn how to work with a dog with anger issues. My uncle also had a dog named Betty, and she only had three legs, so I am aware on how to accommodate a dog that can need extra assistance. My most recent puppy care experience was doggy sitting a Chihuahua named lucky. He was a cutie, but very spoiled. We of course went on walks, and spent pretty much all of our day together! The thing that set Lucky apart though was the fact that he absolutely hated his picture being taken. Whenever he saw the camera in his face, or heard the click that the camera makes from your phone when you take a picture, he would freak out and run away. That taught me that dogs have boundaries just as humans do. As silly as it may sound, that dog is camera shy, I now know how important it is to respect a dog the way you would respect any other person. It creates a better bond for you and the dog, and a bigger level of love and trust. Just like if someone is tickling you, and you tell them to stop, and they don’t, you would be visibly upset. Just because we can’t see the dog being upset, doesn’t mean they aren’t. Aside from all my listed previous experience, things that I am unfamiliar with, I am open and willing to learn! For example I do not have much exposure to taking care of puppies, but I have lots of time, and the patience to learn whatever I need to, to create the best experience for you, and your pup! More info: Let me know before hand if your furry friend has any needs, likes/dislikes, or any interesting quirks I should know about! Also feel free to reach out, if you’d like to meet prior to getting together, I am available pretty much any time. I currently work for Instacart, and Doordash which allows me to create my own schedule, and work when I need. So I pretty much am always free, and flexible. I can work around any schedule, and can help out anytime when needed! I can care for your pet in anyway that is needed! Even if I am not sure how to do something I am quick to adapt. I will curate the best experience so your animal will feel comfortable, safe, and at home 24/7. As well as to whatever wants and needs you have for your furry friend!

About: Ive taken care of many dogs over the years and have always had a dog in the household growing up! The first dog that I’ve ever had was a dog named Maggie. Maggie was an elderly pit bull and she came from an unloving home prior to my family taking her on when I was about 5 years old. She was not as disciplined as you’d like an older dog to be, so she would have accidents all across the house and do naughty things like eat food off your plate when you weren’t looking! Understanding the life she was living before, we saw it as an honor that she was willing to get in trouble for a little fun lol. We had so much patience with her and gave her as much love as we could while she was still with us. I will always have a soft spot for pit bulls. Another dog that comes to mind is a dog named Lucki! Lucki was an elderly chihuahua that my girlfriend and I took care of a couple years back. He was on a strict diet and routine. Funny enough, he would get freaked out and paranoid anytime he heard a camera shutter, so you would not be able to take his picture. This plays into the respecting of boundaries that animals have. Many people would play it off as “cute” or “funny” but in reality stresses out your animal. One time I found a dog on the side of the road, also an elderly chihuahua. He was partially blind and was scared to death. I was able to get him to trust me and I was able to get him in my car. There was no collar or anything so I thought he was a stray. My girlfriend and I gave him a bath, fed him and gave him all the loving. We were planning to put found posters and such around town and online but before I could, I had posted him on my Snapchat and coincidentally it was the dog of someone I knew! My love for animals knows no bounds. I do DoorDash and Instacart (gig apps) so I have a really relaxed availability when it comes to scheduling of walks, potty breaks, feeding, etc. I can/will provide any type of service for your pet that is needed/wanted, just let me know and I can do it! Even if I’m not sure how to do it I am a fast learner that can get things done efficiently.
