About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life. Growing up on a ranch, I helped raise and care for all kinds of animals including rabbits, cats, and dogs, learning hands-on responsibility and compassion from a young age. I bring decades of experience and have a special love for senior pets. Since 2011, I’ve rescued and cared for older dogs, giving them comfort, attention, and love in their final years. Two of my own cats lived to be 20, so I understand the dedication needed for long-term care. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a shy rescue, or a senior pet, I treat every animal like family. About: I am hyper-attuned to your dog's needs ensuring your pets sense of trust and well-being is secure. Showing up and being present is my priority! I work primarily from home, and my schedule is flexible from the morning to early evening time, making it easy to schedule service times that work conveniently with your schedule and pet needs. Routines and consistency are important to ensuring a dog's sense of the world and trust because they can anticipate what to expect each day. With my own dogs, I wake up and take them for a jog first thing in every morning. The routine accompanied with the daily exercise makes for very happy, well-behaved and content dogs. I will bring that same perspective to your pet's life. Additionally, I am a long time Rover customer and when I was single and working 9-5, I relied heavily on my dog walker and sitter to show up daily, on time, in a loving, attentive way. For those of you who are away from your pets for long periods, please know that I understand the importance of being that consistent person in their life who shows up on time and meets their needs in your absence. Being a Rover walker and drop-in visitor is my way of giving back and saying thank you for all those who supported my pups for so many years!

About: When I was young, I spent time in my grandfather’s farm playing with dogs, cows, pigs, horses, and chickens. We take care of dogs in my community, and we also look after a bunny. I am currently studying a Health Coach Program in Holistic Nutrition virtually so, I am flexible on time and days. I love walking and being active. I love going on walks, play with the ball, and keep them active depends on their needs. I can feed them and give medicines if they need.

About: I’ve worked as a pet sitter since high school and have cared for all kinds of pets, large and small. From tarantulas to Pitt bulls, I love them all and I strive to ensure that their routines are followed and that they feel comfortable and loved. My work as a personal assistant allows for an extremely flexible schedule so I am available most week days and all weekends for check ins and walks. Although I am unable to bring pets into my home, I am available for home stays in a client’s home and can provide daily check ins and pet pics.

Ralph is very much of a dog like kind of cat that gets lonely and needy for love and cuddles so it's always so hard leaving him. This is going to sounds crazy, but our cat can pick up on "high strung" or "anxious" types of personalities so he isn't always as comfortable with those kinds of people.. we know from certain family members interacting with him lol! But Jessica is honestly such a sweet soul and mellow personality that I knew Ralph would instantly connect and feel comfortable with her & he totally did!! We will absolutely be asking Jessica to sit with him from now on whenever we need someone! She sent several pictures and gave updates, couldn't ask for anything better. It gave us such peace of mind knowing Ralph had someone loving on him while we were gone. We could not thank you enough, Jessica!”

About: Hi there! I'm a college graduate currently living in Ventura that can take care of whatever your dogs need. I recently completed my Master's degree in Animal Behavior, so you can trust that I have the knowledge and background to take care of any animal's need. While I completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees, I was employed by several families to pet-sit and walk their dogs, so I have plenty of experience and am comfortable with any type of dog (even extremely energetic ones). I can feed, walk, bathe, groom, clean up after, and administer medicine to the pets if necessary. I have two cats, one large German Shepherd, and a tortoise and gecko myself, so I have experience with those animals specifically, but I also am familiar with caring for my mom's horses so I can take care of a wide range of animals. I can also perform any simple house-sitting tasks (watering plants, collecting newspapers, etc.). I hope you'll trust me with your furry (or scaly) friend :) As my main job (wildlife technician work) is seasonal, when I am in town I am available for pet care 100% of the time with no other obligations. Families have previously entrusted me to spend lots of time at their house while they were away, so I am entirely comfortable to keep your pets company in case they have any attachment or anxiety issues.
