Reliable & Loving Pet Care 🐾🤍
About 3 years ago, I moved to California specifically to live with a close friend who had just become a flight attendant to help take care of her two dogs and two cats while she was away for work. Since she traveled often, I became a big part of their everyday care… feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, keeping them company, and of course giving them lots of love. I even took them to a little trip with me to Joshua tree, which they enjoyed very much! One of her cats also had asthma, so I learned to be extra attentive to her needs and helped with taking her to vet appointments when needed. I’ve also helped other friends with house sitting, dog walking, and caring for their pets while they were away or out of town. I genuinely love animals and know how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of your fur babies. I’ll always make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and get plenty of love and attention while you’re away 🤍🐾 I may be new to Rover, but caring for pets has been a big part of my life for the last few years, and I’d love to care for yours too!

I know every fur baby has their own personality and routine, so I like to learn what makes them feel most comfortable before you leave. Whether that means a specific feeding schedule, their favorite walking route, extra playtime, or just having someone nearby to keep them company, I’m happy to follow their normal routine. I’m also very respectful of your home and will always make sure doors are locked, instructions are followed, and everything is left just as I found it. I’m happy to send pictures and little updates too, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your fur baby is doing well!

I couldn’t recommend her more! She took care of my dogs for 3 years, and I always felt completely comfortable and confident leaving them in her care. She is incredibly responsible, loving, attentive, and truly treats every dog like her own. My dogs absolutely loved her, and I always knew they were in the best hands. She went above and beyond to make sure they were happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. She is trustworthy, reliable, and genuinely amazing with animals. I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pets with the same love and attention they would give them themselves. ❤️
Ive always been the pickiest person ever with my dog. But with Mariela I suddenly knew she and my baby Cassie would hit it off. And in fact they did. She would daily send me updates when I would have to leave for a week, she would ask me if she had questions about anything related to her, she would love my Cassie like she was hers, sleep with her, walk her and treat her the best way possible. I would leave every pet with her always. Shes really the most lovable and caring person that could ever take care of your pet baby. Mine loves her a lot.

Schedule
I do work full-time in the hotel industry as a front desk supervisor, and do 8-hour shifts. My schedule varies throughout the week, but I’m available before and after work, on my days off, and for drop-ins or walks. For house sitting, I’m happy to stay overnight and care for your fur baby before and after my shift. I’ll always be upfront about my schedule so we can make sure it’s the right fit for your pet!
