When you let me in your home to take care of your pets, your fur babies, you are trusting me with things most dear in your life. I take that very seriously. I always like to schedule a meet and greet in the home, this way you get to meet me, I get to meet your pets with you there, and we can go over all detail their care. I have a questionnaire that I bring with me every time, to fill out with information from you about your home and your pet. Everything from emergency numbers, car rides, allergies... even if a strange person should be around your property, and much more. I like to have all the information, so I can provide the best care possible... With safety and respect formost in my mind. I will respect your home and privacy.

I consider it an extremely important role when caring for other's fur kids. I would ask questions about their personality, health, history, age, likes and dislikes, any triggers, how well they are walking by and/or associating socially with other dogs (whether naughty or nice), their energy level, their diet, and any rules. I would be sure to cover all the basic (and sometimes special) needs of each individual dog. Every doggie is different, as are their habits and the expectations of their human parents. I would need to know as much as possible so I would be able to fulfill their needs and know how to best take care of their beloved fur kids. This is why I like to schedule meet and greets, it's the perfect time to meet and go over all of these details together. And even though it doesn't ask about kitties, but let me answer... It would be very much the same, only translated into Kitty.
Ein typischer Tag
It depends on the dog owner (for kitty parents see below), and what they request and enjoy. If no specific preferences, I would take to a park where they can run and chase the ball. If that is not their cup of tea, we can go on walks together, where depending on likes of the dog(s)... beach, nature trails, etc. Cuddles and petting are always on the table, as well as chases or even driving in the car around with the window down so they can hang there head out and lap up the smells and air. Although this only asked about dogs, I also love to do KITTES! For every visit I will interact with your kitty(s) the entire time I am there, even if I'm just talking to them as I'm preparing a meal for them. I will scoop the litter box, prepare and serve fresh food per your instructions, give freshwater, will vacuum any litter (if you have a vacuum), and clean up any dishes made during this. And then the best part, lots of love and play!

Hello! Loving, kind, reliable, patient, compassionate, honest professional Pet Sitter, pet lover/owner at your service! I have been a cat parent for over 35 years, and a doggie mom for over 22 years. I have been pet sitting for over 12 years. I absolutely love animals! I have volunteered throughout my life with cat, dog, and more recently horse, rescues. I have worked for a vet and from this, and personal experience over the many years, I am able to administer oral medications dog and cat, and sub-q fluids for cats. Have a cat? I AM your cat person! Meow meow 😻. During my visit, I will: Cats.. > Provide fresh food and water per your instructions > Playtime, TLC, and brushing, etc. > Clean litter box(s) > Vacuum up litter and food areas as needed > Provide undivided attention, love, and interaction for entire time > Administer oral meds if needed > Take great photos of your fur baby(s) for you, and write a summary of my visit > Water plants, feed fish, bring in mail and packages if needed Dogs.. > Provide fresh food and water per your instructions > Playtime, TLC, brushing, etc. > Let out/in yard > Provide undivided attention, love, and interaction for entire time > Administer oral meds if needed > Take great photos of your fur baby(s) for you, and write a summary of my visit. > Water plants, feed fish, bring in mail and packages if needed I will happily care for your pets in whatever ways you outline and request. I favor Meet and Greets prior so that you, your pets, and I can meet, and go over all instructions for their care. I know how much my four legged kids mean to me, and how much I love and adore them... I would do whatever I could to make them happy. I promise to treat your baby(ies) like they were mine. I will send you photos and updates, I use the Rover cards so you will have all the information about my visit and your pet (s). I consider it an honor to be trusted with a member of your family and your home. I take that seriously with the utmost respect. FYI, my legal name is Jeniffer, but my nickname and preferred name is River. Both are me and both work 😊.

Jeniffer is amazing as always! Our kitty was anti-social out of the norm and Jen made sure he was okay and not sick and did her best to make him comfy. There isn’t a better cat sitter out there!
Jennifer was great with our dogs. Super responsive, very punctual, and really sweet and loving with both pups. You couldn’t ask for better help.
