About: I love animals and i’ve always loved animals since I was a little girl. Any chance I got to be able to play with our dog, take him on a walk or even just to feed him I was always right there. Every morning before work I make my cat his breakfast meal (3/4 can of wet food with added water for hydration). Play with him for at least 5-10 minutes so he doesn’t feel ignored. Once coming home from work he is greeted with cuddles and play time and a treat until it’s time for his dinner meal (3/4 can of wet food with added water & Omega-3 oil). I make sure to scoop my cat’s litter box daily as to not stress him out and to keep a clean litter box. Litter changes weekly. I have always had pets growing up. Ranging from dogs, cats, frogs, turtles, fish, etc. Every pet is different so i’ve had to care for each animal in different ways. Getting to know your pets is always fun and also important in knowing how to care for them and keep them happy and comfortable. Tending to your pets needs and wants such as daily/weekly water bowl/fountain changes, learning their food preferences, toy preferences, maintaining a nice environment for them is super essential in pet care and overall happiness.

About: I grew up taking care of animals. I currently have one Russian Tortoise, one pug, and two chihuahuas. One is diabetic so I have experience with giving insulin injections and monitoring pet health. I have house sat and pet sat for years. I also worked at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo for one year and worked with animals and conservation. I am currently a student and have plenty of availability. I have class Monday and Tuesday from 3-7 pm, and Thursday from 4-5pm, but can work around it. I live in a an apartment in a safe community, with a gated yard. I have a doggy door for access to the yard. There are tons of walking paths around.

About: I’ve had experience working at a dog daycare which came with lots of responsibilities including dog watching, bathing, cleaning, and feeding- including administering medications. I currently work at an animal shelter where I handle dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, weight, and breeds. Using balanced training methods, I can also offer light training (puppy teething/mouthing, basic cues, some leash manners, resource guarding, engage/disengage with reactive pups, social bridging with shy ones). I’ve also worked with deaf, blind, and tripod doggos! I currently work a full time job 4 days a week with Sunday/ Monday/ Tuesdays off. Not available the rest of the week since I work long hours. Full honesty and transparency is the way to go! Direct communication is best to achieving the best service without any miscommunications. I’m typically a quiet person, and can provide a calm environment for your pet! I've been a proud and responsible dog + cat owner for over 25 years (plus snakes!), with over 15 years experience care-taking pet fish, birds, rats, hamsters, snakes, leopard geckos, frogs, turtles, and more! I'm also a wildlife biologist and small business owner of a human-bear conflict prevention start-up (see "Wild Neighbor"), as well as a previous zookeeper and animal trainer! I have 20 years of experience working with all sizes of California native wildlife and exotic mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and arachnids in zoos, nature centers, and museums. I hold a B.S. in Wildlife Management from Humboldt State University and am a graduate of the Exotic Animal Training and Management (EATM) Program at Moorpark College. I'm an avid hiker, explorer, and naturalist, and I LOVE spending time with all kinds of animals both outdoors and indoors! I am a small business owner and work from home - while sometimes I am needed in the field, I'm grateful that my schedule is super flexible and allows me to operate my startup while also spending time with pets! I always approach my pets with love and consideration not only for their mental health, but for their physical health, as well! Treats are a must, as is access to viewing windows (to keep an eye on the outside world when I'm away), cozy spots for sleeping, fans when the weather gets warm and soooo many blankets and beds when it's chilly. Water and food bowls are cleaned daily, and walks (for the dog, at least!) are kept to a consistent morning, afternoon, and evening schedule.
