“I felt very comfortable leaving my kitty with Courtney! I know cats have a reputation for being independent but some (mine) still need plenty of attention while we’re away and I was glad to know Courtney understood gets it. Courtney was great, especially if you have a kitty that wants more during a visit than a full food bowl.”

“Anna was wonderful with our Scout! It was her first time with our pup and she took such good care of him. He’s a reactive dog and she did a great job taking him out for his walk and then playing with him in our room. We will be scheduling with Anna again!”

About: I’ve had animals in my life since I was born. I’ve had bunnies and cats and fish and dogs and birds. I’ve learned great ways to meet each of these animals with gentle and respectful care. I primarily work Monday-Wednesday 11am-8pm. I’m much more available in the evenings and weekends to take care of beloved pets. Pet walks would be most accessible on Thursdays-Sundays. I do not offer pet care in my home, I don’t have pets because I live in a very tiny apartment and know that’s not conducive for their wellbeing. In my client’s home, I show the utmost respect and care for their items, animal care needs and I triple check that I leave everything clean and locked.
About: I am a former kitten foster and also have precious dog sitting experience. I love animals so I will definitely give them the love and attention to feel secure when you are gone. I recently moved to San Diego and am looking for animal friends! I would never treat an animal differently than a way I would treat a human. They are equals in my eyes and I really just like to love them! Your animals would not be lonely or neglected at all in my care. I do not have any animals of my own currently so they would have plenty of one-on-one time with me. I have experience with puppies and neonatal kittens, as well as older dogs and cats. I won’t let you or your pet down :) I recently quit my job as I am starting Physician Assistant school in September so I have plenty of free time these days. Trying to make some money in the interim and figured this is right up my alley. I have a fenced in yard and one fluffy male resident tuxedo cat that has been with me through most of my fosters. He was a foster fail and the sweetest! He gets along with both cats and dogs. I keep my house clean and only have pet safe plants!
“Katherine is fantastic! Very communicative and I can tell she cares a lot about all of the animals she watches. My cat was upset that I was out of town but she did everything she could to help him be more comfortable. Thank you, Katherine, for taking such great care of my boy!”

About: I’ve taken care of all different types of animals, from reptiles to large mammals since my childhood. Neighbors and family friends have trusted me to walk, feed, and look after their pets while on trips or even just out for the day. I’ve handled dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I have also received some formal education in veterinary care as well as worked multiple jobs as a veterinary assistant. I’m currently working a full-time job so weekends and/or when owners are on vacation are my best times, as well as after work if owners are caught up on the job and need assistance with walking or feeding. I will happily watch your pets in your own home, even overnight on weekends. I take extra care to provide the best service I possibly can, catering each visit to each owner’s preference. I have experience in medication administration as well as animal handling to create a fear free environment for your pet and keep your mind at ease.
“I highly recommend Annette! She accepted my booking request on very short notice, which was a huge help. She took great care of my three cats and was reliable, responsive, and thoughtful, sending me pictures and updates during each visit. It gave me peace of mind knowing my pets were in good hands while I was away. I truly appreciated her help and would gladly book with her again.”

About: I’ve spent over 30 years caring for dogs and other animals, both personally and professionally. My approach is intuitive, compassionate, and grounded in a lifetime of hands-on experience. I run a local Montecito dog walking business, working with dogs of all breeds and specializing in big, athletic, and high-energy dogs. Pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle. As a Montecito-based business owner and endurance athlete, I spend much of my time on the trails and beaches — often with a dog by my side. My lifelong love of animals, combined with my endurance background, makes me especially well-suited for larger or high-energy breeds. I genuinely love bonding with dogs and take pride in being a calm, confident presence — a natural pack leader they can trust. I care for the dogs I walk as if they were my own — with plenty of love, attention, and respect for their individual needs. I’m known for giving dogs the exercise they truly crave, whether that’s an energizing trail walk, a beach romp, or a steady neighborhood outing. I stay fully present and engaged, making sure each walk is safe, stimulating, and tailored to the dog’s energy level and personality.
About: Hi! I’m Kesley — a lifelong dog lover with years of experience fostering and caring for pups of all ages, especially seniors. I’ve fostered dozens of dogs over the years, many needing extra patience, medication, and gentle companionship. I know how to spot the signs of discomfort, provide a calm presence, and make your dog feel safe and loved. Whether your dog is a playful pup or a slower-moving senior, I’ll follow their routine closely and treat them like one of my own. I’m reliable, respectful of your home, and happy to provide updates so you can travel worry-free. I’m also comfortable caring for reptiles, freshwater/saltwater fish, and houseplants if you have other household needs while you’re away. 🕐 I live in downtown Ventura and work Monday–Friday, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., in Santa Barbara, so I’m available early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights depending on your schedule. Let’s chat — I’d love to meet your dog and learn how I can help! Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life — I have two cats of my own and have fostered animals for years, so feeding, walking, cleaning, and giving attention is just part of my daily rhythm. I work weekdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., which gives me flexibility for morning, afternoon, and evening visits. I love building pet care into my routine because spending time with animals is one of the best parts of my day! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space and routine with the same respect and attention I give my own. I follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and walking routines exactly as provided. I make sure pets get plenty of love, play, and calm companionship to reduce stress while their people are away. I also keep things tidy — cleaning up after pets, scooping litter, and sending regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I aim to make the experience as smooth and comforting as possible for both you and your furry family.
About: Hi! I’m Kayla, a lifelong dog lover and animal person. I raised a 15-year-old Havanese from puppyhood through her senior years, and now share my life with Willow, my playful and social one-year-old cattle dog mix who absolutely loves having dog friends around. We live on a peaceful mountain property near Carpinteria with lots of outdoor space to explore. Our days are full but relaxed — usually a mix of time at home while I work on graduate school coursework, walks around the property, afternoon rest time, and beach outings or little adventures into town. I love matching each dog’s energy level — whether that means active hikes and play sessions or a slower-paced day with cozy naps and calm companionship. I’m currently in graduate school studying acupuncture, so I’m home most of the day and able to provide consistent supervision, attention, and care. I also love sending photo and video updates so you can see your pup enjoying their stay. I have experience with training and behavior work, including helping raise a previously reactive rescue dog. While I have that background, I’m currently focused on hosting dogs who are comfortable social playmates for Willow, so I’m not taking reactive dogs at this time. Our home also includes chickens (securely enclosed), and I’m happy to accommodate pickups or coordinate logistics to make things easy. If you’re looking for a safe, loving environment where your dog can enjoy outdoor adventures, companionship, and attentive care — I’d love to connect! As a graduate acupuncture student, I spend most of my days at home studying, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and structured care. Our daily routine includes relaxed time at home, walks around our mountain property near Carpinteria, rest breaks, and beach or town outings depending on your dog’s energy level. I’m able to accommodate active dogs who love adventure as well as pups who prefer a slower, cozy pace. Because I’m home frequently, dogs are rarely left alone and get lots of attention, enrichment, and outdoor time throughout the day. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We live on a peaceful mountain property with plenty of outdoor space and a calm home environment. This property is unfenced. My dog Willow is a friendly, playful cattle dog mix who enjoys respectful dog companions. Dogs are supervised during interactions and introductions are done thoughtfully to ensure everyone feels comfortable. I’m experienced with training and behavior awareness, comfortable administering basic care, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs and boundaries. Our chickens are securely enclosed. I provide regular photo/video updates and maintain clear communication so you always feel confident while your pet is in my care.
“We booked Sasha for a drop in visit for our dog Murphy! She did such an amazing job with keeping us updated while we were away from our little guy and sent beautiful pictures of her time spent with him a”

“Deandra was a great pet sitter for my senior 5 lb dog. I used her for extended drop ins two days in a row and she always came right as scheduled, checked in with me, and sent plenty of pictures and an update on my dog when she left. She gave my dog lots of love, treats, and outdoors time and he was happy and relaxed every time I came home after one of her visits. I’m so happy I found her and will be using her as a pet sitter going forward!”

“Our cat is the definition of a scaredy cat and hides whenever anyone who isn't us comes over, but Noah always made sure she had fresh food, water, and litter and would look in all her hiding spots to make sure she was good!”

But I’m looking to expand my platform. I have an open schedule and want to have a Part-time job that I enjoy doing. I am happy to provide, whichever services are needed per sitting. If that means, it’s a walk, feeding, overnight, just some friendly attention or etc, I am more than happy to provide anything.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
