About: I loved dogs so much when I was young that when I was 13 I started my first job as a dog washer at the “European Grooming” dog groomers up the street from my childhood home. I would work there all day every Saturday and loved it because I got to be with so many dogs. I also have been a second mom to my friend’s two Pitbull pups which have been quite a handful, but noting I can’t handle! I have experience helping to train and discipline even the most hyper and aggressive pupsters. I’m currently working part time remotely and have a very flexible schedule. I just moved here and I think it would be fun to get to walk dogs while walking around this beautiful area 🌊 I can’t have dogs come to my home because my roommates have territorial cats, but I am happy to house sit and walk dogs to help families who need a reliable dog sitter.
About: I’ve always loved dogs and have one of my own: a 10 year old Husky/Pit mix who loves playing with most dogs, especially smaller ones. My flexible schedule allows me to be able to take care of your pet at all times. Whether it’s a walk, check-in, or an overnight stay. I’m available for overnight boarding and dog walking full-time, cats as well! 🐶🐈 Your fur baby will have me close by to take care of them the entire stay as it is my full-time job:) My day revolves around walking your pup and giving unending attention back and forth. Please let me know if your little one has any special dietary needs or any other special conditions that need to be cared for or instructions to be followed. Please let me know of any aggression towards other pups, or if they get protective over toys/bones. All dogs are fed separately even if they get along to avoid any conflict** Let me know when you request boarding if your pup is up to date on vaccinations and flea & tick prevention or I can’t take them*** If needed, we can also do a meet and greet before your pups stay:) See everyone soon!!
“Hailey was such a great sitter! She helped check in one our pack and her gentle demeanor was a big hit with our dogs. She communicated well, was great with our dogs and we will definitely have her support us again!”
About: I'm a lifelong animal owner and lover - large breeds and small or with fur, scales, hooves, or feathers. My live-in partner is the manager of a veterinary clinic and I am a certified dog trainer with an extensive history of working in the animal industry at pet stores, groomers, and ranches. Together, we offer a uniquely loving, experienced, and structured environment for pets of any size or special needs. Pets in our care are spoiled with snuggles and lots of love, treats (when permitted by their owners) and rarely spend time out of our sight. Long walks and playtime with our cattle dog and chihuahua wear out most dogs in no time. Unless specifically requested by their owners, dogs in our care are never crated for extended periods or locked inside without access to a fenced patio. I work from home and offer an open, flexible schedule for clients with pets of all kinds. My pups and I begin each day with a walk to the beach, then home for a quick bath, brush, and nap before more playtime in the afternoon. Working from home allows me all the time in the world to pamper my pups and our visiting guests, offering customized care for their unique needs. I treat drop-in visits like I would my own home, bringing in packages and ensuring everyone is happy and healthy before departing. Pets in my care are given extensive mental enrichment and physical exercise, with photos sent each visit to pet parents to ease any concerns and keep you informed about what your beloved furry family member is up to each day.
“Laura was fantastic! She took good care of our cat, Rocky, for four days and kept us updated with regular messages and pictures. Rocky is usually shy around strangers but he warmed up to her quickly. We appreciated her prompt communication and attention to details. We’ll definitely book with her again in the future. Thank you, Laura!”

“Deandra was a great pet sitter for my senior 5 lb dog. I used her for extended drop ins two days in a row and she always came right as scheduled, checked in with me, and sent plenty of pictures and an update on my dog when she left. She gave my dog lots of love, treats, and outdoors time and he was happy and relaxed every time I came home after one of her visits. I’m so happy I found her and will be using her as a pet sitter going forward!”

About: I’ve spent over 30 years caring for dogs and other animals, both personally and professionally. My approach is intuitive, compassionate, and grounded in a lifetime of hands-on experience. I run a local Montecito dog walking business, working with dogs of all breeds and specializing in big, athletic, and high-energy dogs. Pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle. As a Montecito-based business owner and endurance athlete, I spend much of my time on the trails and beaches — often with a dog by my side. My lifelong love of animals, combined with my endurance background, makes me especially well-suited for larger or high-energy breeds. I genuinely love bonding with dogs and take pride in being a calm, confident presence — a natural pack leader they can trust. I care for the dogs I walk as if they were my own — with plenty of love, attention, and respect for their individual needs. I’m known for giving dogs the exercise they truly crave, whether that’s an energizing trail walk, a beach romp, or a steady neighborhood outing. I stay fully present and engaged, making sure each walk is safe, stimulating, and tailored to the dog’s energy level and personality.
About: I love dogs and feel that dogs are a part of our family. I have a small mixed breed (rescue) dog of my own. I am home most weekdays and some weekends. I have extensive experience with dogs of all types and ages. Having grown up with and owned my own dogs I have used my experience to volunteer with a local rescue, saving lives one pup at a time. In the last year I have been the "foster mom" to 5 rescue Dogs (so far!) Typically they are with me 4-6 weeks while we work to find them their forever home. I live downtown Carpinteria near beach and parks. My house is three bedroom two bathrooms with a fenced in patio area. My dog loves to lay out there on her bed in the sunshine. About: Hi! I’m Kayla, a lifelong dog lover and animal person. I raised a 15-year-old Havanese from puppyhood through her senior years, and now share my life with Willow, my playful and social one-year-old cattle dog mix who absolutely loves having dog friends around. We live on a peaceful mountain property near Carpinteria with lots of outdoor space to explore. Our days are full but relaxed — usually a mix of time at home while I work on graduate school coursework, walks around the property, afternoon rest time, and beach outings or little adventures into town. I love matching each dog’s energy level — whether that means active hikes and play sessions or a slower-paced day with cozy naps and calm companionship. I’m currently in graduate school studying acupuncture, so I’m home most of the day and able to provide consistent supervision, attention, and care. I also love sending photo and video updates so you can see your pup enjoying their stay. I have experience with training and behavior work, including helping raise a previously reactive rescue dog. While I have that background, I’m currently focused on hosting dogs who are comfortable social playmates for Willow, so I’m not taking reactive dogs at this time. Our home also includes chickens (securely enclosed), and I’m happy to accommodate pickups or coordinate logistics to make things easy. If you’re looking for a safe, loving environment where your dog can enjoy outdoor adventures, companionship, and attentive care — I’d love to connect! As a graduate acupuncture student, I spend most of my days at home studying, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and structured care. Our daily routine includes relaxed time at home, walks around our mountain property near Carpinteria, rest breaks, and beach or town outings depending on your dog’s energy level. I’m able to accommodate active dogs who love adventure as well as pups who prefer a slower, cozy pace. Because I’m home frequently, dogs are rarely left alone and get lots of attention, enrichment, and outdoor time throughout the day. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We live on a peaceful mountain property with plenty of outdoor space and a calm home environment. This property is unfenced. My dog Willow is a friendly, playful cattle dog mix who enjoys respectful dog companions. Dogs are supervised during interactions and introductions are done thoughtfully to ensure everyone feels comfortable. I’m experienced with training and behavior awareness, comfortable administering basic care, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs and boundaries. Our chickens are securely enclosed. I provide regular photo/video updates and maintain clear communication so you always feel confident while your pet is in my care.
